10 - not perfect, just very special to me <3
9 - more charm or polish than an 8, but not as close to my heart as a 10
8 - pretty solid, worth a watch (for its respective genre)
7 - enjoyable but has issues
6 - has good moments but not that great overall
5 - just not worth the time
4 - idk if i'd finish anything thats a 4 or under, also i do believe even an average anime will have at least some merit in the form of plot, character design, sound, animation, etc.
