I feel Suzuka is as cliche as a high school romcom anime can get. It's not just that it's cliche - it's just downright annoying. I found all three of the main characters, Akitsuki, Suzuka and Honoka annoying. Akitsuki because he just allows himself to be insulted all the time by Suzuka and let's be real, he wasn't really in love with her - he was just infatuated with her because of her elegance in jumping. I haven't played the visual novel of Dramatical Murder and probably don't plan to in the near future because I don't like too much gore, but the character designs really appealed to me, so I thought let's give the anime a try instead. Honestly, I loved it. I wasn't expecting the plot to be this deep and thought-provoking. I'm a hardcore fan of the Persona series, and I feel Dramatical Murder had elements of the self-acceptance themes that Persona has too, so I really enjoyed it.
