Review for first two chapters (Akuma ga Hallelujah story):
In the start I like it, really. Characters weren't anything new - perverted male student who just plays with heroine's heart but in the same time, he protects her. And naive female girl, confused and annoyed by him.
OK, for twoshot it is good enough.
Art was good. Probably the best thing on it.
And story... well, I didn't expect anything original. But... Young perverted and rude... priest? Mangaka probably knows nothing about Catholicism. But OK, Rosette in Chrno Crusade also wasn't a pattern nun.

Well, I still didn't read many mangas but I think I've read enough to say "This is something really special".
The story is just incredible. There isn't any cliché, any boring parts. The plot is original and interesting. And... realistic. "Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan" means "Our happy hours" (or life, I'm not sure). It is true - the hours they spent together were more precious than years they spent alone. This manga shows how can be the life changed just in a few hours - short time when you compare it to the whole life, but... short time doesn't mean useless time. "Bad past" ...

When I finished it, my first idea was "WTF?!"
Story is simply cliche. A rich boy which is used to bully girls. Of course he is popular, pretty. A poor girl, which has to do a servant for him. He is an arrogant jerk, she can't do anything, even if she is trying to beat him. And in the end... nah, I know I'm not supposed to write spoilers, but... honestly, in this story isn't any surprises, just a clear cliche so you probably know how it will finish. And art... I watched it in terrible quality, but... when you compare it with... Seirei no Moribito, for example, ...

I really liked Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu the first season. It was something great, one of the best anime I ever watched.
So I looked forward to second season... but, it was quite disappointing. Endless Eight was... just endless and boring. Yeah, that idea is good, but when you wait for next episode and you find it's almost the same like the previous... Hm.. but it's still ongoing, so I still hope xD |
