If you're the type of person who grew up consuming "yaoi" and BL for one reason or another (mine was gender confusion, what about you) you'll find yourself laughing open mouthed at this one. It's just so aware of the absurdities that the genre can get to and it is FUNNY. Toradora is one of the first animes I really watched.
Being very honest, I wouldn't call it outstanding, amazing or revolutionary. It's a great anime. It makes you smile, makes you feel things, and inside the genre it belongs to, it avoids a lot of mistakes you usually expect. (You know, those annoying tsundere vices, nonsense decisions in the name of love and etc etc etc.) Also, Taiga and Ryuuji are such captivating characters!
