I think what makes Blame such a memorable experience is that the manga itself is an experience contrary to an actual narrated story.
You just kinda see things happen and go around picking up the pieces little by little and what makes this so great is that everything is sort of left up to your imagination and you can interpret things by yourself.
Obviously there are things happening and you can see Killy has a goal but most of Blame is just seeing him walk around in hopes of completing this goal.
What's best about this narrative choice is that you can feel everything that's going on but

When you tell someone to read a manga about wheelchair basketball it sounds almost absurd, but once you get into it you realize this manga is more than just wheelchair basketball
