Frankly, story-wise, it's different in plot though very similar in atmosphere. But the similarities with the characters are very uncanny. It's pretty much that the main female protagonist is overly positive and her smiles brighten everyone she's with. She also creates a strong impact on everyone she interacts with. She sticks her nose in other people's business without telling the person concerned because she cares. She's clumsy and lacks self-awareness, too. Plus, almost any guy she hangs out/interacts with end up falling in love with her. The main male protagonist has parental issues. They're perceived as stoic, but goes to great lengths to protect the main female protagonist.

The semes are both authors and by some incident, the uke ends up with him. Although there's a huge difference in the plot line between Author's Pet and Gravitation, it won't be much of a problem if you enjoy yaoi and shounen-ai.

Want little boys? Little boys "exploring"? Well, these two mangas don't have a whole plot (or any kind of plot whatsoever) and it involves a lot of little boys, well... doing "it". Child Epicurean is made by one mangaka while Mimi Paradise is a compilation of various authors such as Dr. Ten. If you aren't scarred by one of this, then read that other. :))

First of all, the main story is about a student falling in love with a teacher. It tells about the struggles of their relationships since the teacher has to enforce his being a teacher and care about the student's future as well as keep said relationship a secret since the child's underage. Personally, Ano Kado Wo Magatta Tokoro has a bit more deeper sense and maturity compared to Boku wa Bokunari ni. But if you squealed for one, then read the other as it's definitely worth it. :)

They both involve cats, boys, yaoi, stubborn semes and understanding what it means to settle down with someone else.

In both mangas, the stubborn, main character has someone thrust in front of them to make said stubborn character calm down and open up a bit more. The person in front of them turns out to be cute, but still, a boy. Also, the stubborn main character (the seme) gets used to the person (the uke) thrust to him. In the end, the "seme" falls in love with the "uke" and won't allow the "uke" to leave his side. Of course, both are yaoi. Etowa has more than one story while Wane Koi Tsumi is only a one-shot. But both have very light stories.

Living androids with feelings are now the "in" thing. Both Etowa and Hybrid Child includes this to their story, with the actual human thinking if it's okay, since they [the androids] shouldn't be feeling emotions in the first place. Although Etowa brings a lighter story, Hybrid Child still contains a good one. Oh, both contain yaoi, too.

For one thing, the main story is about a relationship between an author and a student. The author (seme) usually makes it a point that he pleases his lover and most of the time, woos him with colorful words. Also, said author always has this outrageous fantasies with and about his lover which gives the younger lover sort of a freaked vibe. Although the story in Junjou Romantica is a bit deeper and longer, Sakka, Dorei wo Kau (Author's Pet) gives off the feeling of sweetness just like the first manga. If you did like one or the other, I would strongly suggest that you read the other. They're both so sweet, they give you cavities.
