As someone who painfully followed the monthly release of this manga, I at least can say it was worth it. Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji might leave a bitter taste in your mouth for the first quarter of the story, but it's still too early for judgment. After all, it all comes down to the details, isn't it?
I believe you already know the gist of the story (since you read the synopsis) and yes, it dumbly started that way. One of the typical dumb shoujo starter kick-offs. You will start to hate the guy to the very last bone and you will also start to

kill yourself out of frustration out of the girl's stupidity. Oh well, it started like that. Unappealing plot. Stupid characters. Almost everything in this manga will start to annoy you like hell. It sure rubbed off to me in the wrong way.
But who cares? It's not like it's the first time for a shoujo manga. I bet there are still worse than this.
And yet it seems like mangaka-sensei has a lot in store. He/She turned the story to something interesting. Some sense was finally injected in the plot, and it was later revealed why Kyouya-kun had that jerky personality. There are no major plot twist or what, just pure character-based development. Slowly, as they continued struggling in their high school years, they met obstacles as a couple and as an individual. They later made crucial decisions about the future--- basically, they learned to grow up. Mangaka-sensei put his/her best in portraying the teenagers these days, from the immaturity and childishness they possess, to the struggles they go through in order to be a better person. What I like about this is not about the romance itself, it's the reality the mangaka is trying to speak. There are people who is like Kyouya-kun in the society. And so, Erika-chan. But again, that doesn't mean they can't change all throughout the course of their lives.
And so I gave it 8/10, for the very good job mangaka-sensei did. It has a rather pleasant and satisfying ending as well. It entertained me quite well, though I admit there are a lot of parts which still pisses me off (like Kyouya-kun's attitude).
So to speak, give it a chance. It's worth the frustrations and annoyance. It's worth until the end. I'm not promising you a great story or what. I'm just telling you how real this manga can get.

Story:
Again, this fourth installment didn't disappoint me. My, it feels like I'm watching Code Geass all over again (though the parent series is still way too awesome to compare to this). The episode is as epic as the previous ones that it took my breath away. To be honest, I like the plot twists and the hints in this episode. I never thought that thing would be possible. The story development is well thought (and I must say well executed too). Wow. Just amazing. But the writers are somewhat teasing the audiences again. Akito and Leila. Ugh, they made me remember Lelouch and C.C. But still, it's just my opinion out of my observation, it can be I misinterpreted it or what (but I'm hoping that there would be a romance in this mini movie series though).
Art:
I would like to praise whoever draw those Knightmares. They were absolutely beautiful. Esp the gold one (Lord Shaing's Knightmare). I really really like the design. But Akito's stunning too. Actually, all of them are amazing. In terms of the individual characters, they are drawn pretty well. the animation is good (but I can't say it's flawless but nevertheless it's still amazing).
Character:
I love Yukiya hoho. I like him the very first time he made his appearance. He's such a genius and a tease. Akito here is as amazing as usual. But what I really like is his character development. I knew it. That kid is too softhearted. Then there's Leila. My, my. She's really a reliable leader, isn't she? She, once again, showed her strong merits here. But what really shocked me in awe is her character development. My, my. I don't want to spoil so if you want to know then you better watch it.
Music:
I once again heard "More than Words" which is one of the movie's featured songs. Ah, I really adore that song. Kudos to whoever sang that one. But seems likes I've taken a liking to the new song at the closing credits too. Still as mellow as ever, but it's touching and sweet.
Enjoyment:
Truly entertaining. I never once taken my eyes off the screen because I don't want to miss any crucial scenes in the movie. Hopefully, the last installment wouldn't be disappointing. I had enough of lame endings already.

Story:
A bit strange actually. Also, there's a lot of time skips too that sometimes they can cause confusion. But it was good. There might be some plot holes but it didn't hinder the fact that this manga is good. It's the typical shounen-type manga, but you'll never get bored since it has this light and comedic atmosphere that you will surely enjoy.
Art:
Actually it's okay. I mean, there are times that the panels are a bit confusing and the characters are drawn not so well (that I'm quite confused who they are haha) but really, it's okay. I liked how the girls are drawn more than
...
the guys (haha).
Character:
I like Hiro's character development. He started as that lame dead boy fufu but turned out to be unexpectedly strong hehe. Hime's character which exudes mysteriousness (and the chainsaw is pretty hilarious) is a hit too. HAHA Then there's that vampire girl. I usually don't prefer ecchi scenes but seriously, she pull it all off.
Enjoyment:
Terrific. I enjoyed it despite of the confusion haha. Well, everything falls into place right at the end so no need to worry. But I do wish the romance element was emphasized (in truth it's almost nonexistent XD) but well.
If you're looking for a horror comedy manga (but the comedy is the best!) XD then you should try this. There is an anime adaptation too (which is quite good). You'll surely get a good laugh.

Story:
Very good and substantial. Only little deviations were made, making it more closely paced with the original work. Bridging the last season and this season is very well done (considering the small deviation in the first season's ending). I honestly like this one more than the manga (in terms of portrayal) since it was more appreciable (to me anyway). Bishamonten and Ebisu's arcs are not my fave in the manga, but after watching this it changed my mind. Truly awesome.
Art:
Soft textured drawings. Similar to the manga. Good animation (esp the fighting scenes, oh I so love them). I'm the type who watches anime regardless of

the art, so I can't say a lot of things about this but I can assure you one thing: it's not sloppily made. I actually liked how it was drawn since it give off this sense of familiarity.
Sound:
Awesome opening and closing themes. "Hey kids!" give off that action-packed anime feels plus it has that catchy beat that I can't help but love. "Nirvana" has the same feels with "Heart Realize" (last season's closing theme). Sweet, cute, cuddly, and adorable.
Characters:
Strong female lead (Hiyori), hilarious and incredible male lead (Yato), and adorable second male lead (Yukine). If you love them last season, then you will still love them this season hehe. I have a pick of my new fave character as well (since they truly are amazing in this season) like Kazuma, Kofuku, and Ebisu. Oh my, young Ebisu is so cute I could die. Bishamonten is pretty awesome here too.
Enjoyment:
Absolutely enjoyed this show. Even enjoyed this more than the manga (pertaining to the respective arcs but the manga overall is still awesome hehe). This is my best pick last season.
Rated this 10/10 in MAL (personal taste hehe) but for now I'll go with 9/10. If you're looking for an action-packed anime with a lot of hilarious scenes that will make your heart flutter (sadly, the romance element wasn't emphasized but nevertheless it's still awesome), has a share of gore and blood (just a little bit), and drama I guess (well a small share too), then you definitely have to watch this. Time wasted while watching this is not even considered wasted time at all. Highly recommended. You didn't even need to read the manga for you to get a grip of things. But make sure you watch the first season (if you still haven't) to avoid unnecessary confusion.
