When thinking of watching something in the slice of life genre, you can't go wrong with Gin no Saji (or Silver Spoon in English). The story was so well paced in this first season's 11 episodes that it made it very easy to watch and enjoy. The characters were all fleshed out and all supported Hachiken really well. As a main character, Hachiken goes through a lot of emotions and feelings and you as the viewer can't help but feel for the guy throughout the series. It even makes you start to wonder about some of the choices in your own life. From issues stemming
