Nothing too wrong! I do get, "Gosh, you're such a geek..." grimaces from my two close friends, but they're just as bad even if they're not! One's a "bookworm" and the other is a "lazy genius", so that makes them geeks to me if I think about it :P I do hang out with the "cool kids" (sounds so teen movie-ish to say that), but even though I'm not one, they all tend to like me for some reason. I think it's my deadpan sense of humour. Which is awful...

I think I'm a geek though... I don't think I'm an otaku. Although, I do not geek things, and none of my friends are geeks, but I think I might be one ;)

I think ANY otaku would have seen more anime than me... I'm not an otaku. I don't really know what qualifies someone as being one, but I don't speak or understand Japanese (someone once thought it was rather amazing how I could watch so much anime in Japanese and never pick up a word of it), I can't use chopsticks nor do I prefer them to forks (besides, hands for the win), I have no inkling of a clue what Pocky tastes like and I don't think I care to have it unless it really does taste good (snacks are nice), and I don't cosplay. Ever. Someone tried to get me to, but I don't think it's for me. Hell, I'll gladly dress like a pirate, but I won't be dressing like *insert name of some popular character here* even if I am a fan.

Out of all the people I personally know, I KNOW I've seen at least twice the number of anime they have. Where I'm from, I'm most likely in the top ten of most anime ever seen :P Small world. And the otaku here are all Narutards or into Bleach or into hentai. Or into Sailor Moon and Vampire Knight, which is another end of the spectrum.

Trust me when I say that I am waaay behind other people in terms of anime.

With my numbers, I would say I'm just below average. As far as I've encountered, the average number of anime completed for any one person would be like 500 or so. See?
