I've seen a lot of poor reviews about this show and I can agree it's nothing earth shattering but I can say this if you take it seriously like I assume most of the reviewers did its terrible. I watched it full well knowing it was going to be the cringiest thing I've seen in a long time but the writing and the acting was next level and had me laughing through out the whole thing for just the silly visuals it inspired as in "She flopped around in pleasure like an epileptic catfish" I had no words given how professional the actors could say ... such goofy lines and not crack up its a show that you can't take seriously I would equate it to pop corn taste fun but no real substance and I'm glad to eat it up.
PS I watched the English dub so no Idea how the original sounds

ok, i am gonna admit this now, i LOVE!!! this show. it was one of the first animes i watched and i enjoyed it so much that i watched the whole thing several more times after that. even though the show only goes up to chapter 25 of the manga they did a good job with the ending and i think it was just fine that they ended there, even though that meant that you dont get to learn much about the dears society in the show and that there was a lot in the anime that you didnt get to experience.

i gave the ... high marks on story based on the manga, same with the art and charector marks because the charectors didnt get to be fully developed in the show. however, the way in which the ending of the show is done is perfectly fine since it allows for the imagination to put takeya and ren living together in peace from then on instead of the mayhem that occurs soon after the show's end
