Acchi Kocchi (Anime) add
“Kawaii” - Adjective, meaning “cute” or “adorable”, and is a big element in Anime. So much so that it even has its own genre. Synonymous to “moe”, “kawaii” has, over the years, been a definite attracting part of Anime. And nothing describes Acchi Kocchi more, then “kawaii”…. Except maybe “sugoku kawaii”… or “hounto sugoku kawaii”.

The plot isn’t brain straining at all. It simply revolves on the lives of a group of high-schoolers, and their wacky and mind-numbingly cute excursions. And with that, you can expect a lot of giggles, chuckles, snorts, and even the occasional, loud burst of laughter. And since we’re talking about high-schoolers ...

Sankarea (Anime) add
Vegetarian Zombies!.... Really!.. It seems like the zombie genre is getting more and more creative now. They added a bit more life into the supposedly dead this time, and made a really hot zombie... a hot zombie....

As to the introduction, Sankarea basically falls into a lot of strange genres that I really didn't think would work before. But they managed to somehow work things out so that it didn't seem weird. It's pretty much just a Romantic Comedy with Zombies and incest. Wait no, scratch that. It's an anime about Romance with a Zombie and incest. Yeah, that's better.

With that kind of plot ...

Toradora! (Anime) add
Highschool is an awkward moment in life for everybody. And so it fits perfectly into the "Romantic Comedy" genre. The lives of highschoolers can be put into a plethora of situations to fit the story. This is why most romantic comedy anime are about highschoolers. Sadly, not all romantic comedy anime turn out as hoped. The romantic comedy genre is a great way to touch people, especially when done the right way. But making a good romantic comedy is easier said than done.

Iv'e been disappointed several times before with different romantic comedy anime. Usually it just ends up to a fanservice anime that's trying too ...

K-On! Movie (Anime) add
I've been waiting for this movie for quite a long time, and I have only watched it recently since I couldn't get my hands on it no matter how hard I tried. And I have to say I am complete satisfied. My several months of want have been completely satiated in a matter of 2 hours. And that was 2 hours very much well spent.

I'm impressed with the way the movie progressed really. I couldn't have thought of a better setting. Set after the four girl's university exams to their farewell ceremony, which was the last episode as well. The gang decides to have a ...

Hidan no Aria (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Hidan no Aria was one of the anime that was in my summer quota a while back. To tell you the truth, I had really good expectations for this anime, since a lot of my friends recommended it. Sadly, those expectations were quickly dashed. One thing I don't like in an anime is bad storytelling. And oh boy, was it bad.....

In the first few episodes, it was pretty solid. All of the settings were established cleanly. The characters were introduced pretty nicely. And the story itself was good. But after awhile, things started to go in a totally different direction. A hunt for a notorious ...

Working!! (Anime) add
"A slice of life!" would completely explain this anime in a short and simple notation. It's basically about the antics of the employees of a certain family restaurant with having no particular plot whatsoever. It really gives that feel of life as a working student. Of course, watching people work for the next 30 minutes wouldn't be so exciting.... So how about this? We add an androphobic girl that can turn your face inside-out, a teenager who is obsessed with small things, a manager that doesn't do zilch, a shady person who knows everybody's secrets, a dumbfounded, lethal waitress that adores the manager, and a ...

Another (Anime) add
I'm not really a fan of the horror genre, so I was pretty much putting Another on hold the entire time. I wasn't really giving it any particular expectations, but in the end, I was stumped. I found myself hooked on to the thing to the point that I had to resort to sleeping in class the next morning. And it was definitely worth it.

Another is definitely one of those series that will pull you straight to the next one without hesitation. With a dash of gore and a pinch of tragedy and romance, it will certainly appeal to those who can keep their stomachs ...

"Electric Wave woman and Youthful Man"!.... You could probably imagine my thoughts on Denpa Onna when I first looked it up. I couldn't really find any substantial reviews or comments about it back then, so I didn't really know what to think about it at first. In the end, I decided to just try it out. And boy, was I surprised.

I didn't really think much about Denpa Onna at first, nor did I have any anxiety towards it. But honestly, I was so wrong when I though it was nothing special. It just proves that you cant judge a book by its cover. Or in ...

Ahh.. I should have written this earlier. Oh well. This is honestly one of my favorite anime production movies. I've seen it before, and that was a pretty long time ago. And when I saw it recently, I was amazed. It still wowed me as much as it did when I was still in my elementary years. This is truly an anime that stood the test of time.

Now, enough with the nostalgia. Let's get down to business.

Spirited Away. The title pretty much says it all. That's pretty much the entire plot line and story that's in the movie. Not to mention the feeling the ...

Butt-love and Sequels! It's been repeatedly stated in cliche manners that sequels will never be as good as the original. In anime, that case has been proven wrong in many cases. But I'm sad to say though, that Kore wa zombie desu ka? Of the Dead! is not one of of those cases.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Of the Dead! starts off on where we exactly left. They even have an OVA where they're still at the pool, the place where the first season ended. It was pretty good at first. They even decided to introduce new characters, but after the first 4 or 5 ...
