I've also found that somewhat odd, exactly how are they calculating compatibility? It is the first time I've seen almost identical compatibility rates for anime and manga with the same person before. Usually it will be a high number in manga and low in anime or vice versa.
Having similar interests in manga would work to our advantage when recommending a good story or two to each other. :)

I think you've misunderstood my announcement. I'm not tired of anime. I don't think I will ever get tired of it and I don't think its getting worse. Yeah the amount of boring school plots and moe crap is ridiculous but anime as a whole is getting better imo. I mean look at my list, most of my 9s and 10s are recent 2010 or 2011 shows. Its just that back then (when I was still a newbie) I had a big list to choose from compared to now. I would watch a masterpiece and find another one the next day. But sadly my resources are exhausted now. I have to go through 5 or 6 titles to find a good or a decent anime. That's what I meant by "I'm tired of going through crap to find a hidden gem". If I take a break for a while the problem will resolve itself.
Your case is different though, you clearly don't enjoy anime as much as you enjoy Manga, so no matter how good are bad anime gets I think your opinion would stay the same.

Bakuman was written by the same person who wrote Death note so it has this intellectual note to it :P + you learn a lot about mangakas
Code geass also has one of the best stories ever but i guess its not that attractive for a girl to watch (mecha and stuffs)
Watashitachi is the best manga ive ever read (in comics only Tower of God is better than it but its manhwa)
Ef is a seinen and it has really mature romance so if you ever get to watch it you should be satisfied (it also has one of the best art you will ever see :P)
Also, if you are such a josei lover, you should watch Usagi drop and Chihayafuru

I just added the things I remembered. I had a list that I wrote a long time ago but it was missing a lot of things. So it was mostly done by remembering different anime and adding the things I watched recently and that I'm watching right now. Im still working on it since sometimes I remember some anime and add it :)
The manga list is so short because I read a ton a mangas and I just can't remember them all.

Well, some of my favourite bands/artists are Twin Shadow, Grizzly Bear, Wild Nothing, John Maus, Deerhunter, Lotus Plaza, Beach House, Animal Collective, Toro y Moi, Destroyer, Girls and Neon Indian.
