The Story:
I grew up watching Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Pokemon; stuff like that, but I sort of forgot about it. I vaguely remember that my neighbor had the anime Chobit's and I had borrow and watched that, had a nice fascination with it - but didnt think much of it really since I didnt have internet way back when. HAH. Then one day my friend showed me Gravitation in the early youtube days (forgot when really)... and was all cool anime and had watched the whole series of Kaleido Star after that. Forgot about it again, then in the early early summer of 2008 I had asked this guy I have known on the internet for.. say two years now: 'Dude, since your into anime... what is a good anime I should watch?' His answer was... 'Bleach'. And lets just say its all WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE. lolwut is correct. But do not get me wrong, I do not watch only that genre of course. That'd be lame. D:
Anime conventions?
I have been to two as of now, Oni-Con 08 - which was amazingly awesome.
And Anime Matsuri 2009, you know... the one Miyavi performed at. =]
That was one of the best nights of my life right there.
Even with all the confusion, pushing, shoving, and difficulties...
I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Both times I went with Helen, which I met my senior year in my Electronic Media class.
That's her. =)
Extra:
For some reasons, I have issues with watching heavily laden romance animes - I can read it though.
And for other reasons unknown, I cannot read heavily laden fantasy mangas - I can watch it though.
Bahahahaha, issues right? =]
Since you can see all my top favorites
on the left hand side there, I will keep myself
from going into great detail and giving you
multiple pictures depicting whats what… And talk to you about my music taste instead. :D
warning: massive picture alert up ahead! my concerts and stuff
I can spend days and days talking about what type of music I listen too, but just telling you who I saw at my first concert will tell a whole lot more than a long boring story. My first concert ever was The Eagles, and about half my family went. My family has pulled me into the great classic rock scene, and I totally love it. I really am lucky to have the parents I have, as they are the ones that have taken me to every single concert I have been too, except one – but that’s another story. Here is a nice list of all the concert’s I have been too, and yes I am going to tell you, because I am proud of the fact that I was able to attend them.

the eagles
Leave them blank. I'll probably never rewatch most of the things on my list so I really wont need it for a reference. Not to mention a rewatch usually changes my first impressions anyway. I don't know, if you think the title was flippin fabulous leave the 10s. ^_^ Haha, If I ever do go back and add rating I should just rate everything a ten. LOL Though I don't know, there were some shows that were just painful to sit through. (I'm looking at you Tales of Eternia...) So I might not be able to stomach giving everything a 10. haha But if that was the only series on my list with a different rating it would certainly draw attention to it and then everyone will know go through the same agony. (I smell an evil plan cooking, muah ha ha)
Deleting all my MAL ratings(1-10) I had posted for series' before. I've deleted them from all my anime, haven't got up the motivation to do manga yet. I rate things based on different things than most MAL users anyway.
Oh yeah, I know what you mean. compatibility 85.6% > anime you share - 10. But at least on those few you have similar tastes. It's hard to find high compatibility ratings when you have seen/read a lot. I don't remember ever having a rating over 70% with anyone. I am actually working on deleting all of my ratings though. Have an awesome weekend!!
