The plot is basically this:
The lead character is an innocent character is gradually corrupted and killed.
Humanity is revealed to be no better while evil anti-heroes and evil villains fight all around him.
I like this movie, not because of the sex but for its cynicism.
Just like all the Urotsukidouji movies, this is an mix of hentai and anime where
story and coolness fueled make-belief coexistent with the erotic motivated make belief.
The "Legend of the Demon Womb" is much like the new version "The Urotsuki",
an more coherent story based on the first movie and it is possible the best movie in the entire series, depending on

It was very hard to watch this improved new version and compare it to the old one which I loved.
The Urotsuki, is a much needed and very enjoyable re-imagination of the old. If you haven't seen the old one I don't the new one doesn't mean much to you. It is very fun for rare of us us who craved" ..more more more" of the old stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love this but the bad sides is that is brutally changed and some of the original appeal is gone. If you can see my scores, the story is much better now and you actually feel ...

"Deathnote" is one of the few anime that is both highly intellectual and cynical in a very mature way.
The show is pure brain food. If you like cynicism and a dark view on humanity and like brainy shows like the first seasons of "House", Ghost in the Shell or the old Sherlock Homes books, This is a must see. If you are like everybody else you probably find it disturbing that the protagonist is a sociopath hero and the anti-villain is a amoral super detective that cares more about the challenge than saving lives. This show is not about karma, it is about the audience enjoying intellectually how the characters ...
