The drawing and atmosphere created by the mangaka is nice. This looks like a typical, nice shojo manga drawing, if you catch my drift. I wouldn't call it the best drawing like in Fire Force or I am a Hero, but nothing to complain about the drawing.

From the same author of The Dangers in My Heart, I would say this manga is much better.
The drawing is prettier, the world depiction is amazing as it is fantasy. The characters are all unique, the stories are unexpected because there are things we need to know what the robot MC can and cannot do. The main characters' design are also top notch and cute. Many funny moments with alternate endings. Just in one volume, the manga feels so dense. There are many things happening and they progress nicely. Have I mentioned how the artwork is just simply amazing? I hope this manga will be published ...

The story is straightforward. The drawing may not be the prettiest but as the artist is a new mangaka, i am surprised how amazing the artwork can convey the feeling of the author.
The manga is dark. It talks about heavy topics: depression, pedophilia and rape. Just by reading it, you can feel the darkness of the world the MC went through. I felt stuffed just reading it. If you are into depressing stories about tragedy, this is definitely for you. I read the scanlation online and decided to purchase the Japanese version of it since there is still no official english translation. it is that good.

If you read the manga, it is a weird experience. I finished reading 10 volumes in just two days. What does that mean? The story is engaging but it is super LIGHTWEIGHT reading for something that is "heavy": kidnapping, psychopathy, pedophilia, murder.
The drawing is like a shoujo manga drawing, lots of inner dialogues, lots of big panels, and all those make reading super fast. Each volumes are not dense with information, mostly just about how the characters are feeling and talking to themselves in their head, trying to make readers understand about what's going on with the characters. I bought two volumes of the manga and had to drop this title. The drawing isnt bad. The main character lacks personality. It is a typical person who would always say "I dont know" or "Ah ok" to anything. But anyway, it is more about the experience of working at a bookstore right?
The books are pretty informative about it. There are detailed things I did not know before about working at a bookstore. But either the Yen Press translation is bad or just weird paneling, it is DIFFICULT to follow the story on many pages. Some sentences dont make sense, or it is hard to ...

I bought this manga, read it for several chapters, and I had to send it back to the store to get a refund. It is that awful. Let me tell you why. Just because it is a shoujo manga, does not mean that you have to kill logic and make the MC as appalling as possible and somehow men just find it cute, ya know?
The story is about a female manga artist who gets a new handsome editor and will be surrounded with more handsome, young men. The MC is always late to the meeting, the editor just scolded her and just accepted the fact ...

I bought the manga omnibus and cannot be happier. If you want a short manga with plot and PLOT, this manga does not disappoint.
The story is actually interesting. The drawing is clean and pretty. The fan service is real. The characters are not boring and actually fun to get to know. The world depiction is great. There are many funny moments. There is more than just ecchi, there is also a bit of gore. I did not expect the gore part, but it was a nice surprise, not that I love gore, but sometimes i just want to feel, yaknowwhatimean? The author was daring for sure |
