You're welcome. If you've taken a look, have any of them interest you?

Yes it is. A friend of mine recommend to watch Fate/Zero first since it is the prequel made after Fate/stay night. Watching in this order was a bad idea since I had no idea what was going on since in Fate/Zero, everything picks up really fast and that made me lost. I should have started on Fate/stay night since in that one, everything is explained which is what I am doing now. I definitely recommend it though even if I haven't finished. The fighting scene are really something and one of the best artwork I have seen. The servants themselves are really something and interesting.

haha it's has been that long. I know I remember the funeral scene but in my heart as silly as that sounds, she is probably still alive. I guess I like to hope for the good in animes until it is explained. Maybe.

I think both of the animes I spoke of targets a male audience but that wasn't my problem. Like I told you I watch anything, it just didn't have that hook on me in the first few episodes. I can prove that wrong for you. In fact I have played a harem VN before and I loved it even though I was the girl pursuing the girls. It felt more like a story so I was able to go along with it and I admit getting the bad ending a few times. hehe Romance? Of course I do maybe I should assume you don't like reverse harems...
Have I ever recommeded Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai to you? I don't remember but since summer is right around the corner, this will be a good escape from OP and other animes you're currently watching.
If you are looking for something funny and comedic, I highly recommend Arakawa Under the Bridge. There is romance in there and just a heads up, it's really the characters that brings life to this anime. And it is one of my favorites.
Okay I just looked at our shared anime and you have ef - a tale of memories on plan to watch. That is so similar to Clannad and I bet you will love it. I happened to love this anime a lot especially its sequel ef - a tale of melodies. So if you need a break, this is definitely a good one.

Yes just having their inputs to help you out is a really great boost. What kind of music do you write about? No the song doesn't have a piano part since it is mostly played with Irish instruments so yes I did mean a cover. But I'm not anymore since the song itself is difficult to learn already. And I don't mean the singing the english version, its the gaelic version.

This site is where I find the new season anime list. Scroll down half way and it click the tabs for each new season. http://www.animefushigi.com/
But here it is. http://i.minus.com/iIrw2JgoAX24G.jpg

There seems to be some very promising animes out this season and I'm very excited in watching them. ^^ Though I did miss out on a few from last season, I'll catch it up when I can. I don't remember all them by heart yet but I do have quite a few I like to watch. One of them is Fate/Zero part 2 so I'm trying to finish up on part 1 to start the other one. Hopefully you'll like some of them. ^^

Oh yeah I totally forgotten about that. Which is why he is out seeking the best swordsman to fight and searching for his long lost rival, Kuina. I feel like she is somewhat still alive however since he keeps being reminded of her from that one Marine girl. Maybe they are the same or not. I haven't gotten far enough to know the truth yet. I think I stopped around ep 120.

I don't know either. Sometimes it makes me feel like I am the only one who doesn't understand animes that were really good in other's opinion. This one being one of them as well as Clannad and Bakemonotagari. But it's just as you said, if I don't feel a sense of attachment or some sort of sympathy for the character, my enjoyment ends there. Probably because it is so out of scope for me or not enough told about the character on a personal level to make me understand their situation. I read Baccano and thought it was worth a shot to try it out. I somehow stopped along the way because I was craving for other types of animes. For a while, all I wanted to watch was only Romance. ^^''

Why did you put it off for so long? But that is great you got your motivation back since it sounds like something you enjoy doing. Actually I'm copping out on the piano piece. I have played piano before but that was way back in highschool and I don't remember a thing except the keys. Plus I wasn't able to find the piano sheet for the song. The song itself, well it has to be part of world music so I chose Galway Girl, an Irish song. Yeah I am so glad we have less than a month left of school but these last few weeks will still be a pain.

Anything that would have made you sympathize with the character more would have been great. I know, I have the same feelings too. I really thought something else was happening to Soul as well but in the end, it wasn't anything more than him battling with the black blood and I think that was it.

There's actually some very hopeful anime out this season. A few of them I'm really planning to watch since the description is interesting. But I only took a look at the Spring anime list once so we'll see how it goes if I have time. But I did start Accel World first. So far it is about a game world that the characters goes into. Really nothing else to say with only 2 episodes out so far though.

I was part of a One Piece RP before so I picked up the show then. I really did like it. Each of the character's story is unfolded except Roronoa Zoro I think since I don't remember it. And it was that part that drew me in instantly. I do have a consistence pattern of loving nakama themed animes. :p But I put the anime for hold just for the time being until I feel like picking it up again. Which may be soon as Bleach did ended.

Both of those seems to be highly recommended. But I'm pretty slow at picking up the good details so I'm sure I will be feeling the same way as you when I start them. And like you said, it doesn't motivate you to watch. I think I told you before but Mawaru Penguindrum was like that for me however in end, it all made sense and I actually like it. Still considering if I should rewatch it just so I can fully understand the whole concept.

That's exciting. :D I've only played a little piano back in highschool but it seems I have to learn it again from scratch for a class performance in my world music class. Not feeling too good about it since, it won't be easy. lol I'm doing fine, just got done with a forensic audit case too and that was very fun. A little bad with time management though since I took up another class for the second half of my semester. And as spring is approaching steadily, life is going to be a little more enjoyable. ^^

Yeah I'm not a big fan either. Having to adjust the position I'm playing it every time so the 3D will effect is a little too much.

Soul Eater was so funny. Especially the part where Kid was taking the test and couldn't go on until his name was perfectly written. I laughed so much. XD I think because of Kid's personality that makes him so likable by fans who likes the anime.

I haven't really been consistence with my animes lately. Been jumping around with what interests me and taking a jab at it. This week however is the end week for a lot of fall/winter anime from 2011 so I'm hoping to finish the ones I'm currently watching soon. I've been keeping track of Fairy Tail and Naruto every week though. Both are somewhat near the high point in the story.

How's it going btw?
Syrai Mar 8, 2012 1:10 PM
Oh yes I forgot about that though I'm skeptical on the quality of the game after being used. I haven't heard much about it but it seems to be a fusion of the three lengendaries. Hopefully it turns out well because I'm looking forward to it well even if it didn't, I probably still get it for curiosity in the game. ^^

Throughout the entire anime, I thought that too so I went and did some further reading and it seems Fakir continued to be with Duck after the story ended. I didn't say anything more other than that.

For monster, maybe it is just a bit too slow now that I'm a little more in the anime as Tenma is looking for clues from Johan. At first, it wasn't the case at all. But I haven't stopped watching it. I'm not all that active in the forum too, if anything probably just the anime once in a while and the intro threads. And yeah I think that's everyone's main purpose except for a few.
Syrai Feb 29, 2012 10:59 PM
Yeah those were verison exclusive for Diamond and Pearl. I'll have to think about getting them and lucky enough I can still find them at a store, everywhere else, it is just black/white and HGSS. I didn't know about this Moss Rock or Ice Rock, maybe when I have leveled them enough I can ask you again? By the way, at what lvl do you think they will be able to evolve around those rocks? Thanks you helped me a lot. ^^

So what are you thoughts so far on it?

I think the negative reviews are mainly from those who have played the VN and a lot of times, the anime follows it's own story differently. The only down side of this anime with me when I was watching it was that it felt like it was just repeating so much. The whole scenario repeated each time, both the main character come to some sort of conclusion but at the same time, with new questions and other ideas. Each little arc does present something about each characters though which was a nice change instead of just figuring out stuff.

I'm so slow on finishing Monster. I feel like by now, I should be finished already. I'm just a bit occupied in other places on MAL. Have you finished it yet? And just wondering, do you do anything else on MAL other than updating your list, like in the forums or clubs?
Syrai Feb 23, 2012 7:30 AM
Are you sure you can get eevee in black? I thought the only way to get it was to trade from older versions which is one of the reasons why I got SS. But yeah I did read on how all of them was evolved and thank you for explaining it too. So I don't need an evolving stone for both Espeon and Umbreon?

Oh well you proven me wrong if you like it so far then. I guess I just thought that, since it feels like its not an anime you would go for. Sorry I'm probably just thinking too much about it and you did mention as long as the plot is good. ^^ Anyways, I really liked Fakir too. He ended up being my favorite out of all them.

Lol what you explained there reminded me of Umineko no Naku Koro ni. There isn't much character development but small story arcs that explains a bit about the character's past. They also have sounds novels that goes beyond the story too if I'm correct but I've never played them. Actually this anime is very similar to Higurashi, it's psychological, mystery, horror, supernatural with some lacking here and there.
Syrai Feb 21, 2012 12:56 PM
I don't know if I want to two versions from Diamond/Pearl, they do look extremely good. So I only got extra eggs if in case one of the eevee didn't evolve like the dark type which I don't even know how I'm going to do that yet. ^^ It does take a while to hatch them, I did see it was around that number or even 9000 but I feel like I'm hatching them at a fast pace since 4 hatched already. For the names, at first I kept them because I do like their original names. But then I feel like everyone was renaming them and it gives off the feeling of, it's really yours now and not a wild so yeah I started naming them. Since I'm pretty bad with coming up with names, I'm naming them after anime characters my pokemon reminds me of.

I hope I can finish it fast. Lately I haven't been able to watch as much anime as I like because of all the cases I need to do for one of my classes. So when I finish it too, we can talk about to our hearts content. :D

No matter what, I really do hope you just sit back and enjoy Princess Tutu since it's kind of like one of those soft songs you can listen to, well that was my case. And all the things you picked up when you started, don't forget I felt the same way too. For some reason, I have this feeling that you might not like it but we'll see when you're done with it.

You know I do like vampire genres I just wish it there was more out there but then some do complain that it is too cliche and nothing changes in the plot. Anyways, I haven't seen Vampire Hunter, what do you think of it so far? Also if you do like vampire genre, I would recommend Shiki. It has a traditional vampire built in but the art compared to most animes is completely different and the plot was good.
Syrai Feb 20, 2012 10:47 AM
Yeah that is very true. Plus I couldn't help but want all the eevee evo, so I'm hatching my eggs atm.

Let me just tell you since I'm a little far in that the story doesn't progress much from when it started. The good thing is, it feels like this arc is ending and hopefully something exciting comes forth because I still have lot of ep to go.

I guess the producers wanted us to assume the friendship grew but that is a bummer. I'm actually a sucker for animes that have strong friendship bond as you can tell already. lol I'm just gonna have to find time and squeeze it in with my already big list of watching and on hold. ^^;;

I started Monster. I'm not that far into it yet. It's kind of exciting so far since I don't really know what is going to happen next.
Syrai Feb 11, 2012 2:28 PM
Throughout winter break and well into January. I guess I missed it a lot that it had to be done. The funny thing is, I even picked up Soul Silver, just so I can get some pokemon from later versions. If I had any more time than I already do, I think I would pick up the manga and read it. But that's not going to happen soon unless I'm in need of furthering my pokemon phase.

I got over the art in just a few episodes. The story got me hooked on the very first episode and before I knew it, I already was done with 24+ episodes. It felt really fast. Also I really like it since romance isn't a taboo topic like other shounens I'm watching atm except maybe Fairy Tail. It's like they won't let it happen but with InuYasha, the possibility is put out there. Then there is all the actions and villians that are all packed in it. The anime is a lot though.

I was never even into Mechas as well. Code Geass is the only one I ever successfully finished, the others are sitting in the hold list. It's just once in a while that I'm able to find a really good one.

I keep telling myself I will watch the Haruhi series for 2 years now. I start it and then lose interest right away. Something about the anime just kind of threw me off. I do enjoy psychological genre but that was only the main reason I started episode 1. I've come across Monster a few times on MAL. I haven't gotten around it. The storyline seems interesting, you can tell me what you think of it when you finish it. ^^ By then, I'll be done with InuYasha to start it.
Syrai Feb 3, 2012 5:27 PM
It really is. Lately I've been resurfacing my love for pokemon, the game and the show. Playing pokemon red on gameboy brought back a lot of nostalgic feelings that I had to get Black verision and finished it along with watching the first 3 seasons of Pokemon. I don't know if I will go further and watch the rest though.

I remember stopping around the 3rd season for pokemon and never picked it up since. I think it was because it stop airing on tv which is where I watched most the show from. But I know about overwhelming, I get that feeling for every new anime I start if it is over 24 episodes. I contemplate over and over again to see if it is well worth my time before episode 1. I actually do that too, watching anime and doing other things on the side but usually when I'm watching it dubbed just so I don't have to constantly pay attention to the subs.

I started to watch Inuyasha and I actually quite like it. I really love anything adventure as you can already tell, Tsubasa wa exactly that and other ones that falls in my favorites. The artwork is okay and the story kind of made up for the rest. Maybe I can try this way of thinking with Rurouni Kenshin. :) Though with "the right mood" I don't think I have that right now since I'm kind of inconsistent with anime. Watching whatever whenever I feel like it.

No. I just love them since I grew up watching it about everyday which is how i remember it. Always the romance ones where there are a ton of singing.
Oh yeah, I started that anime with a lot of high hopes and then I put it hold since it wasn't interesting anymore. I wanted to pick up Stein Gate but I think like you, I like to watch it in chronological order.

I finished quite a lot of anime over the span of my last reply to you. Also I'm so sorry about replying so late. Macross Frontier was very good. The story plot gets a little complicated, I really don't know how to explain it but things like not understanding the bad guy's intentions and plans for the world. You might like it if you're into mecha and very good artwork with lots of shotting.

I also finsihed Mawaru Penguindrum when the series ended. I'm gonna have to plan to rewatch it again sometime just so I can understand the meaning more which was only apparent to me at least, at the end of the series. To others, they probably analyze this anime in more detail than I have right from the beginning but you know I was more so trying to enjoy it as it is. Anyways, main point, it has a complicated storyline and I think you'll like it. It definitely is not an anime where you think you know where the story is going, it has a much deeper meaning once the whole story unfolds and comes together. I don't know what anime I can compare this to but I did like it a lot.
Smaster Jan 29, 2012 5:11 AM
Chaos Head does has it's English translation patch so I can play it whenever I want. I don't play VNs for the main reason that most are Japanese which I dunno how to read and VNs are just reading and reading the whole story..See what I mean. I don't wanna play something where I'll just skip the whole thing..xD..Interactive as you said.

Chrno crusade was a great anime. The reason why the anime was less talked of was because it had religion and Christianity related. Still the story was really well made and you get attached quick to the characters :)

I started Madoka here. I thought the art would be better than that but well the story seems different from all mahou shoujo anime I watched before ^ ^
Smaster Jan 18, 2012 4:03 AM
Agrees...I completely agree.
The delusions completely fucked up the story and the "Whose eyes are those?" remained a mystery till the end. And since the real dude was in fact an old timer and that the current one we knew was also a delusion, that explained why he saw the Rimi girl at the murder scene when he didn't know her cause the original one knew her...see I'm talking like a fool not possible to explain what I want to say clearly..xD

I forgot about the game here..might be the reason we couldn't understand a lot of thing. I think I read it somewhere where they said the anime was better for those who played the game..xD

Don't mind..I'm confused just like you are..haha
Smaster Jan 14, 2012 9:31 PM
Oh you took the initiative.
Welcome to the NHK had comedies and you could understand what was happening in the anime. Chaos Head was really what the hell as you said..xD
A part I couldn't understand. The one doing the murders was the nurse and her accomplice right..so what the the pink haired girl doing at the first murder site with the victim nailed on the wall when the guy saw her and suspected her ? Was she really there or is was just the guy's imagination ? (Already forgot the names..lol)

Steins Gate is better, definitely better, you'll enjoy it for sure ^ ^

Well, I'm about to finish watching Seikon no Qwaser anime here...both seasons and indeed must say the anime is the most perverted ever in the anime history!!
Syrai Jan 13, 2012 3:46 PM
Yeah I'm glad I was able to watch the original too since I only remember watching it all out of order as a kid. Even now that I know the whole storyline and able to understand some parts that I didn't before, I still rate it as a 10 just because I really loved it back then.

Are you really keeping up with the pokemon series even now? I remember not too long ago I wanted to get back on it but I have no idea where I left off. For Bleach specifically, there has been many boring arcs. So far, the only one that I know I really liked was the soul society arc which is basically the very first one. But yeah no point in starting one you know you don't want to finish.

I went into that anime thinking it was probably a lovely dovey cast and romance plot but it was nothing like that at all. Romance scenes was mainly just a thought whereas the actions and the fighting cause was the focus of the story. So for that, I liked it. There was a couple times I questioned who was the enemy, how and why did the story progressed to where they are now but it eventually got answered as I thought more about it (since it was kind of fast pace and the story didn't have time to answer all the small details).

Well I know I've considered Rurouni Kenshin many times just haven't really gave in yet. I guess for me it's gotta be one of those where I have to watch a couple episodes in to start enjoying it without judging it by the cover (old school artwork). But yes like you, I've heard many good things and remember that OVA I told you about, it was really good too so just from that, I'll give it a go just not at the moment. :)

I've come by that anime a couple times too but as I said before, I'm not always in an OVA mode. I really do like psychological genres thought.

What do you think of Haibane Renmei so far? I finished that anime a while ago and I really didn't understand some of the concepts others was bringing up in their reviews. Like religion etc... It didn't really leave me with any sort of impression so my mind is kind of blurry on it too except their everyday lives and some important points along with the ending.

Before the break, I was really committed to finish a lot of animes and start some of the new winter season animes but I really drifted away from all that. Kind of watching other stuff regular movies, dramas, hindi movies. Once school starts again, I know for sure I'll pick up anime more quickly. I don't really know what I want to watch though since I need to redo my plan to watch list since some of them don't even interest me from reading the synopsis. What about you?
