Grave of the fireflies and Akira are movies and of course I will watch them eventually, however the TV animes made in the early and mid 90's just don't have anything I'm interested in, I tried watching NGE once last summer and I just couldn't do it, not only because of the animation and art but also because of the characters.

Read my 2nd comment that was an addition to the 1st and also, I don't want to watch anything made before '95, this way I don't have to stand outdated animation and art, but also I can sit on my high horse without feeling bad about it.

Actually I have to make an addition to my comment, in its own merits (for what it is, the type of anime it is) TTGL had great screenplay, though storyboard was weak, then again There are few animes of TTGL themes that have good storyboard.

What does storyboard and screenplay have anything to do with the fact that I gave TTGL a 10? Did it ever occur to you that I gave it a 10 for qualities other than storyboard and screenplay? Entertainment and/or amusement value?
