okay but seriously, this anime is a masterpiece.
starting off, this hxh seems like your typical shounen genre anime, and has a very happy and lighthearted feeling to it.

fast forward 148 episodes and you'll have been thrown into the pits of emotional hell and back, by the end left an empty shell of a person
the story:
Hunter x Hunter main plot focuses on a kid named Gon, whose father is a Hunter, and has been absent for his entire life. Throughout the anime, Gon's main goal is to eventually find his father again. Although this story seems relatively basic, the journey Gon takes along the way allow the plot to develop into so much more.
the characters:
Togashi's ability to create a diverse cast of interesting and complex characters is incredible. Though the protagonist of the story is Gon, the anime takes time to focus on the development of other characters just as much. The characters show excellent development throughout the story. As well, this anime is very gender friendly: featuring excellent female characters, as well as trans character.
Overall, Hunter x Hunter is well worth the watch. It is an incredible addition to the shounen genre, one that (in my opinion) soars above and beyond both Naruto and Bleach. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

When i first began watching the anime version of Detective Conan, the site i was watching only listed it as being 50 episodes long. Assuming that was all, i finished the 50 episodes only to discover that 50 was rather 600 + episodes. After making it to about episode 300, i abandoned the anime and decided to take on the challenge of the manga.
To start of, the pros of the manga. Although being a detective manga, you'd assume that the biggest pro should be the mystery cases and plot, for me, it's the characters. Although the characters seem to be nothing special at first,

you soon find yourself adoring them. Gosho Aoyama has a special way of making the characters so relatable and fun, and all with unique and different personalities, you can't help but falling in love with them.As well, the interactions between the characters draw you in. The high school detective and his childhood friend (and love interest), as well the friendship between Shinichi and the high school detective of the west, Heiji Hattori, and the rivalry between the famous theif, Kaito Kid, and Shinichi. I think the characters and their interactions with each other are the one thing that make this incredibly long manga bearable to read.
The next point is both a pro and a con. The story line is compelling and original, and the chapter with the Black Organization are thrilling. However, with one of the chapter only happening once every 50-100 chapters, the plot is very slow developing. The rest of the chapters, for the most part, involve case (mostly homicide). The cases are all very unique and creative, and would definietly appeal to any mystery novelist fan. However, the cases do have a tendency to become repetitive quickly. Although each murder is different, and the circumstances do vary, the idea of locked room murder, and others do repeat multiple times, and some sometimes do end up thinking "not another locked room case". However, not all the cases in between the BO ones are like this. Aoyama includes case involving Heiji Hattori (the loveable Osaka detective), Kaito Kid, and flashbacks to before Shinichi's body was shrunk which are all exciting and thrilling in their own way. So although some cases seem to get a bit repetitive and boring, you find yourself pushing through to reach one of the more exciting chapters (which happen frequently).
The art is neither a pro nor con. The art is fine, but it's not outstanding or special. It's a bit different from other mangas, but it's still a good style. However, although the main characters are all distingushable, many of the character designs to have a habit of looking similiar. Many side and minor characters can be easily forgotten, or look very similar to another character in the story.
The biggest con for this manga, for me, is the length. It's easy to get discouraged by the length, and there are times where it seems as though it's dragging on way too long. In my opinion , if anything could make this manga better, it would be a faster moving plot and less chapters.
In conclusion, if you enjoy reading detective stories, and look some really loveable, fun character and adorable romances and friendships, this manga is for you, so long as you don't mind the time commitment it may take. However, if you don't really love mysteries, don't read this manga. Although the characters and plot line are intresting, if you don't enjoy regular detective cases, you won't be able to get through the 800 + chapters of case files that this manga is.

What a amazing and heart-warming ending to an outstanding anime! Everything about this 26-episode conclusion to the original Inuyasha series was brilliant. The story, the characters, the everything. And especially the romance. The romance topped all the romance in the rest of the series, and almost every episode will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Tears of joy were rolling down my face at the end. If you watched the original series, you won't be complete untill you watch this sequel as well.

To start off, this manga is definelty worth reading. No matter whether you watch the anime or not. Infact, the anime doesn't even begin to compare with the manga.
Story- This story is amazing and unique. Mainly focusing around mystery and the supernatural, with a touch of romance and humour, this story is put together brilliantly. You won't want to put the book down.
Art- The art in the manga is unbeileveable. The characters are drawn beautifully, and the backgrounds magnificient. Yana Toboso captures the look of 19th century London with every page. Also, the action scenes look as though they are popping off the

page.
Characters- The characters are amazing. From they're gorgeous looks to they're incredible personalties. They truly are a master piece. You'll fall in love with Ciel, his handsome butler, wacky servants, and adorable fiance as soon as you meet them.
Enjoyment- This anime certainly is enjoyable. You'll want to be re-reading the books again and again. The story is excellent,and the humour hilarious. You're eyes will be glued to the page.

Lucky Star - Let's start off by saying that this isn't one of those shows that's well-rounded and just about every anime fan can love. Whether or not you like this show is very dependent on your anime prefrences. For example , if you need to have a very strong plot line in the show, and characters that develop over time. Don't watch this show. If you like funny , cute anime's that have really no point at all , this is the show for you.

very relatable. This show is the show you turn to after just finishing up a series that's very intense with a very complicated plot line.
The story- The story, to say it bluntly, is lacking. VERY lacking. in fact, there is no story really. The episode are rather pointless. It's essentially like a whole series of fillers. This makes it very hard for people (like me) to sit down and watch it till` you finish. (and im sure we've all done that before). After just a few episode you'll start to get bored.
The characters- The characters personalities are great. They're very funny and the way the main characters interact gives for some good laughs. However, if you like to see characters develop any, you won't like this. The character's have NO development. at all.

Death Note- My favourite anime of all time. This show was outstanding. Absolutley amazing. To start off, the story. The story is like none i've ever seen, and the combination of mystery, action, and the supernatural is brilliant. The constant twists and new developments in the story will keep you up to the early hours in the morning, convincing yourself that you have to watch "just one more episode" I should know, i've seen the show 3 times and i still do that. Also, the character is death note are amazing. They are so in depth and well-developed, and so easily admirable, you can't help

but get attached. The intelligence and life-likeness of the characters is amazing. Finally, the music. To me, music plays a big part in an anime. Music can easily set the mood perfectly, or get it all wrong. But Death Note hits the mark. The music is beautiful, and perfect for the atmosphere of the show.
Overall, Death Note is a masterpiece of an anime, and definatley worth watching/reading.
