Honestly, when they announced this anime it flew under my radar. I would never have imagined that it would be one of the best anime I've watched in a long time.
It's even difficult to go into details about why this anime is so good, since its greatest quality is the experience of spending time with the characters. Technically, this anime is very well done, truly a visual masterpiece, but it is also not one of the most demanded in this regard, however, when needed, the staff was extremely competent. The flagship here is the narrative surrounded by mysteries that is masterfully done (the author and
...
series composer are to be congratulated). Each episode has the right dose of comedy, depth in that world, mystery and resolutions. The interaction between the characters is magnificent and the cases surrounding them are very well developed. The anime is very regular in its quality, without having negative variations and having peaks in quality that almost raised the final score to 10.
This anime is extremely recommended, almost a must.

Here we have a beautiful anime, one that warms the heart.
Yubisaki to Renren is a precious and essential anime that addresses a romance between two very peculiar characters that captivates you from their first interactions.
The romance here is well developed as the episodes go by, without any disagreements or confusion that I only dislike in this type of anime. Everything here is direct, transparent and transparent for those who are watching and that really won me over.
It's not the pinnacle of technical quality, but it doesn't need to be, it just needed to do well the main point of this anime, the romantic interactions of
...
a mute person, and it did it masterfully.
Speaking of characters, the main cast is quite common overall, with the exception of the main couple (since the protagonist is deaf and the protagonist has his past covered up for the last episode) and the competitor for the protagonist's boyfriend who, for me , is the great character of this anime. Erratic, regretful, repressed and hard-working, an element that really captivated me in the story and which was the best episode of this anime. If we have a sequel, I would like a good ending for it.
For me, I highly recommend this anime to anyone who wants a very mature main cast and a very cute romance.

I want to start by saying that I think Sousou no Frieren is very underrated.
I think it's an extremely well-made anime, exuberant quality and I'm particularly happy with it because it denotes the return of quality from one of the most legendary studios, the great MadHouse.
But I think there was hysteria in the fandom of this anime and I don't know how to explain why. Of course, it's an incredible anime and will definitely make an epoch, but I don't think it's an anime worthy of being on the same shelf as icons like FullMetal Alchemist, Hunter X Hunter and others that participate in MAL's
...
Top10.
Disclaimer done, I will now say my opinion about the anime:
What a fantastic anime, what an impeccable production. You can already tell that there is something different about him from your first contact. A different way of telling an odyssey, having already had a previous odyssey in this same story and which, in theory, was the Great Odyssey of that universe, but in truth it was nothing more than a preparation for what was to come.
The story follows a calm and pleasant pace, being very visually pleasing and comical at the right times. Indeed an impeccable production.
Of course, the anime is not perfect, there were even obvious considerations in it, such as the lack of dynamism in the final stretch of its first cour and the beginning of the second. Also during this same period of the anime I started to feel quite lazy with the main cast of characters and the editing of the episodes (it's quite repetitive, by the way) and this ended up kind of taking away points from my final experience with the anime, but later on the problem of dynamism and characters was solved with a very well done examination arc, with more action, interesting dialogues, worldbuilding and especially interesting characters, which reinvigorated the anime and made a second season essential.
In short, Frieren is one of the animes of this decade for sure and a must for anyone who likes a good anime.

An anime that paid with its tongue.
Zom 100 had one of the best premiere episodes I've ever seen. It seemed like it would be a very good anime in its comedic and satirical content, but we were soon shown the terrible planning that this anime was subject to. Poorly finished episodes, delays in release combined with a narrative decline too, it's true.
In its second part, the anime had a sudden drop in its narrative quality, which, until then, was excellent. Loss of focus, lame script, new characters without any charisma, among other reasons, only being saved in its final episode, which was actually very good.
I
...
believe that the bitter taste of this anime only went to those who followed its release. For those who assist with integration, they tend to climb much better. Therefore, I do recommend Zom 100, which, despite its regrets, remains a good anime and makes me yearn for a sequel.

I generally don't see quality in anime in the horror genre. but this one was an outlier.
Dark Gathering has a very similar anime beginning, making me question whether it would really be worth continuing to follow it and I'm glad I persisted, as there is a noticeable increase in quality.
As a horror anime, we at least expect stories that make us feel bad when we see them and this anime has them. There were several disturbing and narratively horrifying tales. The production of the anime is often even soft on the visuals (which may also have been due to the lack of technical quality in
...
the animation that this anime has) but it makes up for it a lot in the narrated stories.
Its second half makes us realize right away that this anime will not have a closed ending and this makes us eager to look for more, as the story gears up in a very interesting way, with the addition of new concepts, new plots and new characters. Everything becomes much more interesting. I will certainly look for the original material, but I really want a second season, which has not yet been confirmed, unfortunately.
If you're looking for horror in anime, Dark Gathering is essential.

It's even difficult to start a review of this anime because it is so dense and complex. Without a shadow of a doubt the most complicated anime I've ever watched.
Lain is a timeless anime in its approach. It's incredible to imagine that an anime from 1998 would deal with the topic of technology in such a pioneering way that it would remain contemporary for today. For many moments I found myself reflecting on the way I treated my online life when watching Lain. The dangers of technological immersion here is quite a debate, but just more of the many that this anime addresses.
The anime, like
...
I said, is difficult and dense to watch. It demands your maximum attention, otherwise you will be lost in the episode and consequently in the anime as a whole. And speaking of episodes, each one in this anime is unique and has peculiarities that make it seem like the anime doesn't progress or that, when it does progress, it skips stages. I believe this is because Lain is an anime unlike any other. I think this anime is so brilliant that it gets lost in its genius, often making you feel out of place in the story because you don't understand anything. I think this complicated narrative choice is intentional. Lain is not an anime to understand, or rather, it is not an anime with just "one truth".
The other topics covered here are extremely deep as well. Identity crisis, God, Memories, Truth, Family and Friendship are just some of the themes that I can remember for now and because there are several, what I mentioned earlier ends up happening, of Lain losing herself in her own genius.
Lain is not a bad anime, far from it, in fact I believe that much of my complete lack of understanding of the anime is my own fault, but Lain does not make it any easier, and many choices are meaningless, even for an anime that is proposes to be difficult. There were choices at the end of the work that will take away points from me too. Let's say that Lain had a resolution that fell short of the genius shown throughout the work and I believe that the most important moment of a story is its ending, therefore not being able to put a stop to it.
Technically speaking of this anime, the direction makes extremely interesting choices. There are details that are often unnoticed and others that are very noticeable and that make the anime experience elevated. I believe that Lain's greatest quality, in addition to her approach to technology, is her direction. It's also worth mentioning that it's not a visual masterpiece or anything (in fact, it's a very poor anime in terms of animation even for the time) but certain scene choices make up for the lack of quality very well.
Finally, even though I finished the anime with the feeling that I wasn't able to enjoy it in its entirety and already thinking about rewatching it, I could spend hours and hours writing about its genius. In short, watch Serial Experiments Lain!

It's kind of difficult to start reviewing this anime because I still don't really know what to think about it.
The entire theme covered in it is something that particularly attracts me. The conception of advanced technology at a level we have not yet seen in our real world.
In Ai no Idenshi, the world and the beings that live there are completely technological, in addition to human beings, there are humanoids, coming from the advent and advancement of technology that I had mentioned and the anime's main theme is the dilemmas experienced on a daily basis. by these humans and the relationship of these problems with
...
the main character who, in turn, is a human whose job is to study, understand and medicate these humanoids and this generates interesting debates and thoughts, to say the least, whether for those who are just watching the anime , as well as for those who draw parallels with the real world and its technology.
This in itself was a good point about this anime and would make me watch it anyway, however, the big (very big) problem with this anime was its disastrous production. The MadHouse studio did one of its worst jobs technically in this anime. The direction of the scenes failed to bring the necessary impact, taking away a lot of weight from the events. Animation completely stuck and without a hint of fluidity, also taking away the immersion of those watching. Even the sound aspects of this anime are bad, with the exception of its opening. I'm sorry to say that with the production this anime had, it's impossible to find it good.
There was a breath of quality in the final 3 episodes, where 3 major plots are worked on, among them, the plot of the main character and it is the one that generates the good cliffhanger of this anime and this is what made me doubt whether to recommend it or not. .
I believe that the best option is to follow the series through the manga, even without reading it, as the anime has proven to have script, worldbuilding and history. Furthermore, the manga is finished and this anime is unlikely to be continued.
If you are one of those who don't care so much about the production but only and exclusively about the events on the screen, this anime is a good choice.

I will start this analysis by highlighting the great audiovisual work done by Kinema Citrus and that was what guaranteed this anime's good rating.
Regarding the story, it suffers greatly from Manichaean exaggerations and poor dosage of time and focus on relevant events and that was basically what generated a certain dissatisfaction on my part with the anime. In the final episodes, in which the anime had its climax, I couldn't engage enough to be interested in what was happening because everything seemed so rushed and disconnected. And this gets worse when I remember that the anime spent some episodes with a completely beaten and Manichaean
...
plot at the beginning. The episode construction, finally, became something very predictable.
On the other hand, the great potential this anime has is clear. An interesting worldbuilding, with a lot of things to discuss, good chemistry between the main couple (which is extremely important since the main focus here is romance) and, as I highlighted, great audiovisual quality.
If the script is right for the next season, we will have a great anime.
Finally, I recommend My Happy Marriage even though I have a lot of considerations, after all, nothing prevents what I didn't like from being a positive point in your perspective. And there is potential.

A visibly very beautiful anime. Its audiovisual aspects are undeniably very well done. Very cool and attractive kind of post-apocalyptic setting but unfortunately it is stopped by a very confusing and unexciting script.
First of all, I'm not someone who had access to the original material, I never played the adapted game, so this anime was my first contact with the universe of Nier Automata and right away I saw a huge potential for entertainment, but throughout this season the script was making the anime extremely tiring. It was hard to stay motivated, even more so with all the Staff problems that this anime ended up
...
having.
In the final stretch, there were few things that I even remembered clearly. It is a fact that this anime did not manage to hold my attention after its second episode, leaving everything much more boring and dragged, which was a shame because, as I said, in terms of audiovisual this anime is very well done.
Maybe it's worth watching, if you have greater dedication and engagement than mine, and I believe that now that it's finished, the attention problem I had won't happen to you.

Yet another part of this anime that really fails to captivate me.
Continuation with the exact same footprint of its first part, this time having an extremely hyped fight for the anime but which, clearly due to its very weak staff (and perhaps having the original material to blame for this too) fell far short.
Unfortunately, I believe it is already possible to say that Shuumatsu no Walküre failed as an anime. Even though there are new plots in development, there's nothing more compelling here.
It may be that I still watch a possible new season, more for experience than necessarily pleasure. After all, pleasure is a feeling
...
that this anime definitely doesn't cause me.
Finally, I do not recommend this anime. Watch at your own risk (and time).
