This show definitely does not deserve a 9, but I really enjoyed it so that's what I gave it! (Haters to the left)
STORY:
Anyways this story centers around Tsugumi Harudori, a 14 year old girl who has found out only recently that she is a weapon. So she goes to the DWMA to learn how to control her newly found power and fight. A very similar story to the actual Soul Eater anime but revolving around the NOT class instead of the EAT class. (Hence the name, Soul Eater NOT)
CHARACTERS:
The characters in this show were okay. None particularly stood out to me even though I enjoyed
...
them. The characters I did like however were mainly ones from the original anime like Kid, Maka, Soul, ect. One thing I really loved about this anime though is that they went into the background of a lot of minor characters from Soul Eater. I loved learning about Kim and Jacqueline and how they became partners. Also the fact that Kim is a witch was really interesting because they never mentioned anything about it in Soul Eater.
ART:
Gorgeous. This is one of the prettiest art styles I've ever seen. I feel like it fit the tone of this show better than the other animation for Soul Eater (don't get me wrong, I love Soul Eater's animation too) would have.
SOUND:
Meh. It was alright. Nothing really stood out to me. I did enjoy the opening though.
ENJOYMENT OVERALL:
Definitely not worth a 9, but I enjoyed it so I keeping it a 9. I'd say only watch this if you're a major fan of the actual anime and are very forgiving XD

It has been a little while since I finished Elfen Lied, but I decided I wanted to write a review on it anyways.
I have watched numerous amounts of reviews on Elfen Lied on YouTube and they all say roughly the same thing: This show is kind of crappy, yet somehow, they loved it. And I feel this rings true with me as well.
Elfen Lied does not (in my opinion) have outstanding animation or likable characters which are two of the main things I look for when I watch anime. (Of course I also look for good soundtracks and this certainly hit the ball out
...
of the park, but I will talk about this later) So why do I love this show so much? Well, despite the lack of these things, I feel that the other qualities of Elfen Lied help make up for the animation and characters. For instance, the best thing about Elfen Lied for me, is its story. It's engaging, thrilling, and actually kind of deep. It really makes you think about what makes someone/something human or not. (A lot like Tokyo Ghoul) The ending was depressing but satisfying enough.
Now, about the soundtrack. There is really only one song used in this entire anime. (Besides the ending song, but there's nothing too special about it even though I enjoyed it) The song is called Lilium and if you haven't seen Elfen Lied and not heard this song, then you must go listen to it! Not only is it the opening, but it is also the background music. There is so many different versions of this song in the show that make you enjoy each one of them without it getting too repetitive.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Elfen Lied. There is a sub and a dub for it, but the dub is the worst dub I have ever watched and I know most people won't touch it with a ten foot poll. (I do however believe that the voice actors for Bando and Lucy did a fairly good job)
DISCLAIMER: The beginning of this anime is very bloody and contains lots of nudity, so if you don't like that, then don't watch this show. The majority of it is in the first 7 minutes of the first episode, so if you can get through that, you should be fine.

Yay! Another Clannad review!
So I recently wrote a review for the first season of Clannad and enjoyed it immensely. So I was a bit worried about Clannad: After Story, I didn't want it to go downhill from there. Fortunately, it did not. It just went uphill instead! It was just as good, maybe even better than Clannad. The story was amazing, the characters likable, and the animation gorgeous. This anime made me cry more than any anime I have ever seen.
One thing that annoys me about a lot of romance animes is that they spend the entire story line just trying to make their
...
relationship work. And when it finally does, boom! the story is over! That's why I like Clannad and Clannad: After Story so much. They keep with Tomoya and Nagisa even after they both graduate. It made the story much more interesting and enjoyable for me.
Another thing I love about After Story and Clannad is that it's not a typical high school romance anime. As I stated in my previous review, there was a supernatural twist to the story line and I thoroughly enjoyed that.
I'm not going to go into too much detail as the guidelines say no spoilers. However I did get very confused at the end. What exactly was up with the girl and the doll story line? What I got from it was that Tomoya was somehow connected to the doll and the girl was Ushio, but that's just me. I'm still very confused by this whole thing so if anyone could explain it to me, it's be greatly appreciated.
Anyways, should you watch this anime? Absolutely, but not if you haven't seen the first season yet because it definitely ties up some things from the first season that you'll need to know.

*EVERYTHING IN THIS REVIEW IS MY OPINION*
When I first heard about Clannad I wasn't sure what I thought about it it. Since I heard about it, I have read and heard multiple opinions on Clannad (and Clannad After Story which I unfortunately got spoiled for me before I even started the series), so I was not sure on how I was going to like it. Some people adored it and others not so much.
So I have sat here for a few months debating on whether or not I wanted to watch it. But may I just say I'm glad I did!
Clannad is given the
...
guise of a completely typical and boring high school romance with undeveloped characters and cheesy scenes. However, it is not so. Clannad has some amazing characters with awesome development and story lines. Each character has around a 4-5 episode story arc that really gives you a chance to know that character which is something a lot of Shoujo anime I believe lacks. I especially enjoyed the story line for Katomi and cried when her arc ended! They do tend to kind of forget about the character after their story line has been shown, but I can get over that.
Another thing I loved about Clannad was the soundtrack. One of the main reasons I watch anime is because they have some of the best soundtracks ever! The opening made me very happy whenever I heard it and the ending was adorable.
I'm not going to go on too much more otherwise this review will be 5 pages long! Basically what I'm trying to say is that Clannad was not at all what I was expecting and I really appreciated the supernatural twists and the dry sense of humor (mainly coming form Tomoya). I highly recommend this anime to anyone looking for a trip of feels.

Anohana was one of the best animes I have ever watched. It was a definite tear-jerker and I don't cry easily at things! It somehow managed to have happy and light-hearted moments as well as heart breaking, powerful ones. Not only was the storyline and characters amazing, but the soundtrack! Holy crap I didn't know that one song can make me cry as much I have at the ending song in this show. It is absolutely brilliant! I'm so happy I decided to watch this and I think that it's an anime everyone should watch.
