i knew about the hiatus thing but didn't know that the mangaka is ill... is it a serious illness? the latest chapter was released 4 years ago, that's a long time for an illness....
so, should i stick with reading the manga or watch the anime instead? '-')

i finished kimi ni todoke yesterday! after watching several episodes i knew it's not my cup of tea but i forced myself to complete it and.... i can't say i enjoyed it'-')
i think i won't watch any shoujo for a while because yes it's not my genre....

how about kimi ni todoke? is it the 'shoujo drama with just two people chasing each other for 2 seasons ,only to hold hands and end the story :P' type? my friend told me she cried while watching it so i think i'll give it a try~
I've finished Clannad! And yes I totally agree with your opinion~ The 18th episode of the second season is truly heartbreaking <///3 I didn't expect the story to revolve around family, I thought it's just a romance-drama anime so I wasn't attracted to it before...

I see you watched Clannad, is it a good show? My sister wants to watch a heartwrenching anime and some people suggested Clannad, so I guess we'll take it despite the fact that I don't really enjoy romance. But I'm still not sure to watch or not?
