Well, hello there! I hope you didn't forget me after all this time!

So, how's everything going in your life at the moment? For my part, I should say many things kept me busy these past few months; my parents and my brother visited me in October, then I finally managed to find a job a few weeks after... Well, I can't say it's so interesting to work in a KFC but at least, it's temporary and I can pay my bills here. xD

I don't know how is the weather these days in Finland but here, we got a lot of snow since November and the temperatures went down until -20°C... Now we have between this and 5° (at most), in average; from one day to another, the difference can be amazing. But according to local people, this winter is really warm, we should normally have between -30° and -40°... Well, I won't complain. xD
Hell no, I just searched your city on Wikipedia and it's about the same size than where I'm currently living in. O_o Which means Tampere is about... 21 times bigger than my city in France (Tours). x) But I don't think we can really compare; in France, we're more like having a main city and a lot of "connected" towns around.

Well, it seems you managed to watch quite some stuff recently. For my part, I just finished some animes a few weeks ago but I don't have time to start anything. I guess this will wait until I go back to France, in May. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed Tasogare Otome x Amnesia! :) It seems Sankarea didn't interest you that much though; well, I can't say I gave it the best score either. I noticed you also dropped School Rumble... As far as I remember, it was certainly a bit overscored on MAL, you're right. The most ridiculous thing was actually the third season they released as two OVAs to conclude the series, but a lot of the story was missing and the graphics were really poor...

Apart from that, did you find again the motivation to cook something lately? x) Maybe you found some friends to invite to practice your cooking, or maybe a girl... That would certainly be a good asset to flirt with someone, haha. :D

You certainly guessed but unfortunately, I can't recommend you any anime for now... Maybe in a few months, who knows! :)

See you next time!

Hey there! I'm sorry for still not giving you an answer, I'll try to reply in the next few days/weeks... I'm really missing some free time. =/

Hello there Clocen! I see that Angel Beats! is an anime favorite of yours. It's also one of my favorites as well. I also see Elfen Lied is also your one of your favorites, as it is mine. Judging from that, I think you would enjoy Comedy, Action, and Romance type genres, right? Anyways I made a fan club where people who like Comedy, Action, and Romance, or C.A.R for short, can socialize. The official name is C.A.R anime lovers club! And I'm the club creator here to personally invite you. Please join us if you are interested.

Hey! Sorry for the late answer, the weeks pass so quickly and I don't have enough time to do everything I want...

You're certainly right about Canada, I admit we see a lot of pines and firs here. It seems the weather varies a lot according to where you leave in Canada, that's a big country after all; here, temperatures can strongly change from one day to another but we at least got a real summer. Now wind begins to wake, as when I arrived in May, and I must say it can be pretty cold... I don't really look forward to experience the negative temperatures. xD

I think School Days is a pretty underrated anime; I mean for sure, we can't help but hate the main character, some people probably think that the "romance" lasts too long... But that's exactly the purpose of this anime, showing us a progressive descent into hell until a violent end, far from how the previous episodes were.

I only know the name of Yuru Yuri but I never really paid attention into it actually. About Joshiraku, it doesn't seem really popular; I just read the synopsis and it seems to be by the same author than Zetsubou Sensei, for which I watched the first season. It was rather interesting and particular but I guess it's certainly better to be Japanese to get all the references. That's actually why I don't plan to watch the second season.

For my part now, I'm still into Tari Tari and Sword Art Online. Still have to watch two episodes for the first one, and I confirm it's really average finally; about SAO, I'd say it's better now since they stopped showing us side stories and it's finally focused on the main scenario, with some romance that I wasn't really expecting actually... I can't say it deserves that overrated score on MAL but it's still interesting to follow. :)

Apart from that, I watched two other animes recently and I can at least recommend you one of them: Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. I really loved the graphics of this show, it suits perfectly all the mystery around the story, with some romance between a student and a ghost. :o) So yeah, pretty interesting finally. I also watched Sankarea, which wasn't bad but it would have been better with more episodes for character development and everything... The ending was a bit abrupt actually. xD I hope we'll learn more in the next OVA. :o

Well, I guess Finland cities look more like French ones than Canadian's. xD You know, I'm currently living in a city almost 7 times bigger than Paris, which is itself already 3 times bigger than where I come from... I let you imagine how I feel. xD Haha to be honest, that's the same thing for me; when it comes to cook for my girlfriend, I'm motivated... But when it's only for me, let's just take some noodles or put something in the microwave, that should be enough. xD Oh and I see you have crêpes there too (it seems they don't know that in Canada)! :o That's cool anyway, other people enjoy your cooking! :o) Did you get training from your mom or you're just enough curious to try/read some books? :P

Haha well, I'm not sure I'd go that far for an apple pie... except if you're ready to offer me the plane ticket. xD
But you never know what may happen in life, maybe I'll want to visit this country someday. :o)
Krayzel Aug 1, 2012 5:45 PM
Hey there!

That's a cool thing you already visited several countries, you certainly have a lot of memories, pictures, etc. of your trips. :) For my part, it was the first time I was leaving France... I let you imagine how I felt about it! That's a great plan you have here about your exchange student to Japan; I would love to visit this country, as many people I guess, haha. :) Hoping it works for you! So you're totally into science courses, eh? Clearly not my favorite domain, to say the least... xD

LOL there was no need to tell me where Finland is; don't worry, I know that at least. xD It's only details concerning the country I'm not really informed about. Anyway, that's good to know everything is going well for you; I wonder how it looks there. :o

Oh yeah, I just looked at your anime list and you are pretty active these weeks! And you watched some of my favorite shows, like Baka to Test and School Days; it seems you liked them according to the scores, that's great. :) Too bad you finally dropped Higurashi though. About Mushishi, I must say it's been a while since I noticed this anime and decided to watch it... But only reading the storyline gives me the same feeling than you, like I wouldn't be able to watch too many episodes in a row.

Tsubasa Chronicle, I remember watching it several years ago... But I ended up forgetting it and I never finished the second season, can't explain why since it wasn't that bad in my memories. As for my recent watchings, I have nothing special to recommend; I'm following two animes of this season, Sword Art Online and Tari Tari. The first one has an interesting scenario but I'm not really convinced by the main character and how everything is set into place (I mean, episodes work a lot with leaps in time... if you read the synopsis, I don't think that's what you'd expect of an anime of that kind), but it still has interesting ideas so it keeps me enough curious to continue, though I expect it to become the overrated anime of the season. About the second show, I would say it's kinda boring, not really original actually; plus it's made by the same producers than Hanasaku Iroha, for which I ended up being quite annoyed by almost all the characters... That's why I don't really expect my opinion to change. xD Oh and there's this other anime, Persona 4 The Animation... Well, it's rather cool but I guess it's more interesting to play the video game; I still have a few episodes to watch, must find the motivation.

Haha, it seems you actually watched Fruits Basket finally... xD I see you gave it a 7/10; what do you think about it?

Sure, living in the city center is cool when you need to get something, go to this or that place... As long as it's not too noisy at night! Oh really, so you're the kind of guy interested in cooking? :o) I wish I could be better to prepare more meals for my girlfriend; as I have no job yet, I kinda play the role of the housewife meanwhile too. xD The weather is quite good here in Canada; maybe a bit rainy sometimes for the two last weeks but since June, we had a lot of sunny days with high temperatures... exactly what my family and friends in France have been deprived of at the same time. xD
I can't agree more, that's really boring to stay at home, spend your time at sending resumes here and there and use your savings when you need to buy food or pay the rent... At least I got my first interview two days ago and it seemed rather good for me, but I still have no answer. Hoping things change quickly! So university starts in less than two weeks for you, right? Well, good luck for dealing with the new students!

Oh please, don't mention that... It's been a while since I ate an apple pie, one of my favorite desserts. xD
Krayzel Jul 16, 2012 5:05 PM
Hey!

Have you ever visited any other country? I don't know so many details about the Eastern Europe countries to be honest, all I can say concerning Finland is that you won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with Lordi... xD Oh I see, the next city eh? At least, you shouldn't feel too disoriented. :o) What are you going to study in university?

You've watched quite a lot of shows recently! I heard many positive things about Zero no Tsukaima, Mushishi or Kaichou wa Maid-sama! but I didn't find the time to take a look into these ones yet. How was the famous Nana, not too "girly"? xD Oh yeah, I've tried Clannad's visual novel right after watching the anime... It was interesting to play but as you said, it's different when you already know the plot; that's why I stopped after one or two hours. =/

Hm, if I look at your Plan to Watch list... I would recommend School Days, I really enjoyed it a few years ago; though I know this anime divided the public. Apart from that, I watched Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? recently and it was a real disappointment for me. That's certainly all I can comment, I only know the names of Chobits and Myself ; Yourself, and the character design for Vampire Knight merely doesn't attract me... xD Anyway, did you find some potentially good animes to watch in my list? :o)

I wouldn't especially like to live in the city center but at least, you're sure to always find some places to go to. So you mainly watch animes these days, right? :P When do your courses begin in university, actually? For my part, I'm still looking for a job here, so I basically spend my time at playing games and watching animes meanwhile...

See you later!
Krayzel Jun 28, 2012 2:57 PM
Hey there! I do my best for replying as soon as I can, but I have so many things to manage here and there... I'm feeling good in this new home, thanks! Just a bit disturbing the first few days, it's not easy to live far from my family (and the environment is so different in Canada compared with France xD).

Haha, I must recognize that I tend to act the same way; sometimes I just hear about a new great (or which seem to be) anime randomly, so I download the episodes and watch them instantly (that's why I should begin Tatami Galaxy soon xD). And that's how you end up having a long "Plan to Watch" list like mine... Not easy to find motivation to search among all of this then, reread the storyline, etc. =/
It seems you enjoyed quite a lot all the SnS series, right? For my part, I've been really disappointed by the last season, it was pretty poor and repetitive in itself compared with the previous ones... But now, I see you've watched AnoHana and you're currently into GTO! Both are great choices. :)

I hope you'll feel in the mood for Higurashi someday, especially since there's quite a lot of things to watch for this series. ^^

Well to be honest, I've still not paid attention to Itazura na Kiss. xD These last weeks, I just continued watching Sket Dance (the only weekly series I follow), completed the second season of Amagami SS and same thing for Yosuga no Sora (which was quite disturbing with all those sex scenes and incest, I didn't expect that...).

Well, I like love stories but when it comes to shoujos, then tend to be full of clichés, not to say simple-minded...

I've never tried xxxHolic anime, you're right; I only read the 2 or 3 first mangas but it didn't captivate me that much. Maybe I should take a look into the series someday, especially since I like the genres you mention, but there are just so many episodes... So I guess it won't be a priority for me. xD

Thanks again! :) I don't know if you have exams this year since you're studying in university according to your profile, but good luck if that's the case. ^^ And by the way, I just clicked on your profile and noticed that my previous comment has been posted on your birthday... xD I didn't even know; it's clearly a bit late now, but I still wish you a happy birthday! \o/
Krayzel May 25, 2012 5:32 PM
Hey! I'm sorry for this new late answer; I moved abroad a few weeks ago and I recently got the Internet access!

Answer to your older comment

Oh you're right, KGNE isn't really the kind of anime that everyone can watch, it goes quite far in the drama. I couldn't resist to recommend it to you after reading your favorite genres so I'm glad you didn't regret the watching. :o)
That's really cool you liked Toradora! that much! Definitely one of my favorites; though I probably watched other animes which can compete with this one but... After quite some time spent at watching great shows, I guess you become more punctilious. xD

It's been more than one month now so I hope you found enough motivation to get into new animes! Especially when I see your "Plan to Watch" list, I didn't watch everything of it but I can say easily that there are awesome titles there. ;)

Still stuck for Higurashi, eh? xD Well, I guess it's probably different compared with what you're used to watch... For my part, I liked everything but the last arc from the first season; not to say the sequel with all the answers was even more interesting!

Answer to your last comment

I'm glad you liked REC too! :)

Interesting, thanks for the advice! Hm, it rings a bell when I look at the pic related to this anime on MAL... I guess I already heard a few things about it but I just skipped when I saw "shoujo"; I tend to avoid love stories of that kind since the day I watched some episodes of Fruits Basket. xD But eh, if you tell me it deserves a try, maybe I should look into it someday! I just have so, so many things to watch... o.o

Oh yeah, I remember about Kimi ni Todoke... It's quite old now but I certainly dropped this anime because it looked too simple-minded for me. I know it has a good reputation but I've certainly not been enough patient. :o)
Krayzel Apr 15, 2012 6:22 AM
Hey there! Sorry for the late reply, I've been quite busy these last weeks (sick, work, family...). :/

Well, maybe there are more animes of this kind than we think, but we just don't know them. :o) Oh sure, I wouldn't mind discovering some others if you find one! Speaking of, there's another anime that you may like: Rec. There are not so many episodes but it's interesting because the protagonists of this love story are young adults... which is pretty rare in animes.

So, it seems you watched all the KGNE series, eh? Did you enjoy it? :P For my part, I skipped my turn for the Akane Maniax OVAs because there's a lot of negative reviews... And now, I see you began Higurashi! That's a great choice, I hope you'll like it. :)
Krayzel Mar 29, 2012 4:13 AM
They are great genres, I like them too. :) Hm, as far as I can remember, I've not watched any other animes with this kind of characters who confess their love and start living as a couple... And that's too bad because in most animes, I'd find it interesting to discover how their romance is going after school. In a slight different way but if you like drama/romance, I can recommend you "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien". :)

Good choice about Toradora, you shouldn't regret it!
Krayzel Mar 22, 2012 1:17 PM
Of course, what kind of animes are you mainly searching for? Though I must admit I don't have the longer list on this site, but feel free to take a look on it and sort the animes by score; it might help you to find some good titles. :)
