This was easily my favorite anime out of anything I've seen in the last two years. Granted, it's old, but I just started last week. I have finished both seasons and the OVAs within 5 days. If you don't understand, it was amazing. The plot was really good, the characters were heartfelt and dealt powerful blows upon death. A real tear jerker at times, it truly was magnificent. A damn shame they won't make an R3 for Lelouch, but.....it was so good. 10/10 would rewatch

Easily one of the greatest animes in history. The story was a bit ridiculous, but very fun, and in my opinion, quite original. The way the characters were portrayed was absolutely stellar. I loved every single one of these characters, and even if they were a minor character, it brought tears to my eyes if one died. The feels are so real if you watch this til the end, so if you don't want to cry like a baby after the ending, don't watch. However, it is just....worth it. That's the only way to describe it. IT WAS WORTH IT

It did the manga no justice at all. Absolutely horrid adaptation. It was the same character and art style, but felt like an entirely different show. It really did the manga no justice. It left too much out, and to be frank, was just plain lazy. It was an awful third season replacement. It makes me sad to think that the creators just gave up after how nice the first and second seasons were. Just absolutely terrible. Good storyline though. Just not enough detail to be put into the equivalent of 5 episodes.

This movie honestly did no justice for the epic conclusion of this series. Rather than actually care about their fans, and going out with style, instead, this was cobbled together. The movie did the ending manga NO justice at all. It was confusing as all heck, and just blatantly made me think that in the end, it was truly over. I was so sad after the ending of the movie. So I went and read the manga, and it turns out, the creators really had skimped on detail. 50 minutes for something that could easily be an entire season? That is huge bogus on their

Mere ratings cannot describe this show. I cried like I haven't cried in the last three years after that show. So emotional at the end, but very well worth it. The story was absolutely stellar, the best I've seen so far. The art is pretty good, the character development is brilliant, and it never failed to make me laugh, even in the most embarrassing moments. Just an all around great anime. If you are planning on watching it, watch the first two seasons, then read the manga til the end, then watch the movies that replace seasons 3 & 4. Otherwise, you miss a lot
