It's a unique show, but it's probably not for everyone. If you like witty dialogues with equally quirky characters, then you might enjoy it a lot. Otherwise, it's a hit-or-miss. Personally, I found the narrative to be really great, and most of the characters appealed to my taste, so I gave it a very favorable score.
Oh yeah, the out of sequence events did take me a while to get used to. Luckily, I was able to get a general idea of what's happening by the end of the second movie. I pretty much watched each movie with the mindset of treating them as a standalone; it was easier for me to understand the series better that way. True, the dialogues can be a bit pretentious sometimes, especially when they try to go all philosophical on the viewer. But at least the action scenes, music, animation, and characters are ridiculously pretty. I liked it quite a bit, myself. My rating for the entire franchise is an eight, which is great on my scale. And yeah, that epilogue was 2deep4us, lol. Nearly made me fall asleep at one point. ;__;
Nice to see that you've finished the Kara no Kyoukai series. How did you like it as a whole? I think the first movie was a bit confusing for me, but it started to make sense after the second film. Movies 5 and 7 are my favorite ones, especially 7 since it wraps up the story nicely. Can't say I enjoyed the epilogue that much though, felt a little redundant.
Ah, okay. I don't mind the amnesia trope too much, even though I agree it's overused. I'm enjoying it a lot for the underused college setting and the nice character interactions; it also helps that it has similar feels to Toradora (particularly in the love interest dynamics). Indeed, lol. Though, one is a tsundere while the other is a bit on the obsessive side. >.>
lol can't say I had hopes for it, the bishounen art already turned me off before even starting it. The only thing this show has going for it is the high quality animation.
Yeah it was nothing special. Apparently it was supposed to take place between episode 11 and 12 (chronologically) but it hardly mattered in the end. Lol agreed, speaking of fanservice this season's anime is full of it =p

Btw, what made you drop Golden Time? You know it's written by the same guy who wrote Toradora, right?
