tl dr no spoilers: if you want a romcom, you gotta have to go through 5 episodes of music shit, if you want music, you gotta get throught 5 episodes of romcom till you can get to the trash ending.
This show wasnt too bad but had distinct episodes of genre. first 5 are your generic high school romcom with a beach episode, love triangles and melodrama. great, i was all on board SS Fuuka. then they gotta go concentrate on the band shit and the show becomes fucking K-ON without the cake eating and tea drinking. AND hold up now the childhood friend is coming
...
through to steal yo boy haruna. Cool man, no worries. episode 11 comes along and just fucking shoots you in the dick. Just once i want the best girl to win and not have to be cucked with a generic shitty ending like this. But hey, if you like to separate your cartoon genres and love shitty tropes, this might be for you.
Everything else is pretty generic and straight forward. you got loud jock side character, cool but potentially gay but also omniscient best friend and big titty but mysterious side chick. Nothing out of the ordinary. Best girl definitely was a whiny little bitch but you know once you build that relationship up with the MC, it just stings my asshole with the way things happened. Fuuka is just straight trash tho.
its pretty average in all regards, if you like the genre of cartoon then you might enjoy it. id actually rather just sit in my room and see how many grapes i can push up my asshole, but to each their own.
being as generic as it is, best girl is childhood cuck girl

tldr; starts off pretty good but gets more confused than a homeless guy on house arrest.
it starts off pretty typical with a narcissistic main character with all these characters, and by characters i mean women (dont think there isa single male character in this show besides the main character), wanting his dick but because of some strange back story he wants to get back at the main and obviously best girl. cool. Theres a beach episode, love triangles, small tiddy tsundere, melodrama. great. fine. what more do i want right.
But then it slowly descended into confusing the audience with the main character actually
...
mixing up the boundaries between liking the girl and just trying to make her fall for him. it genuinely felt like he liked her the whole episode but then at the end he would say some sly shit like ' fuck yueah this is all for my revenge lmoa' not buying it buddy. its just fucking confusing since i obviously want to fulfill my dreams of having a qt 2D waifu vicariously through this cartoon but then he shoots me in the dick by still going on with this revenge shit. the show just totally lost its plot.
The end is shit. the fat boy is just annoying and confusing. the two or three un-introduced girl characters that just pop up are fucking confusing. sure there was a nice moment in the final episode but it doesnt really forgive the producers for fucking cucking me like this.
i get it, its meant to be a total tease to sell some paper copies but for a casual anime watching fedora wizard like myself , it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth when something had potential to be a pretty good romcom SoL cartoon. I did enjoy most of it tho. If you like the typical traits of school romcom SoL anime. this is fine.
best girl - was adagaki, then it was neko, for one episode it was that boy that looks like a girl and is pretty much a girl but then it was adagaki again but then the ending kinda sucked so the best girl was actually the loli mom.

tooloong didnt read no spoilerino; its really cute and sweet and pretty funny but you just want to kill yourself somtimes as its frustrating as fuck.
as far as romantic comedy goes, this really satisfies me in manly and mature ways appropriate for a 32 year old single programmer. character interaction and plot is really light hearted and enjoyable. characters were fun and each episode was funny and enjoyable.
the only disappointment was the characters. they were all awfully 1 dimensional. the author really wasted time by naming these characters as he/she could have easily just settled for "nice guy, pervert guy, quiet book girl, single-titties,
...
bitch and older-mother-figure-cancer-took-from-me". there really isnt any more to the characters besides their 1 defining trait. It isnt all bad as the show is a short 12 episodes but if it was any longer, it would risk being stale. additionally, anymore of this shows cockteasing "will-they-wont-they" or "why-the-fuck-dont-they-just-put-it-in-each-other" of the main characters would have me digging my eyeballs out and peeling my skin off trying to commit sudoku. it was sickeningly sweet and cute, and i loved it.
the main relationship is progresses at a glacial speed, surpassed only to kimi ni todoke. the interaction was really innocent and pure and some what refreshing. its kind of like when youve been getting off to hardcore tranny bondage porn for a week and your cheeto covered fingers accidently click on a x-art lesbian vid of two really pretty girls mainly just kissing and you get off better than the entire of the last week and youre just like "wow. the female form is amazing" it just kind of reminds you of how cute and innocent you once were, and the things you may have thought when you had your first crush.
it was nothing amazing, but thats fine. a short and fun cartoon with a sweet and innocent blossoming relationship in a funny and enjoyable manner. the definition of a good romantic comedy.
its not that obvious but Kana, Hanazawa is best girl. Kreygasm ༼ ºل͟º ༽

too long didnt read, no spoilers in the entire review you hentai watching memelord; its the summation of the things i hate, but its now one of my favourite shows.
its episodic, theres a lot of dialogue, its not rom-com, theres no melodrama, no love triangles, no titty ribbons, no beach episode, its not slice of life, theres fighting and powers and shit, it has childish art themes; its basically everything i hate in video james. i wasnt sure what i was expecting from this one but it certainly wasnt what i received.
you should be pretty mature to enjoy this show. it certainly demands a
...
more mature, patient watcher to really enjoy and stick with this show. it starts slow in plot, characters and action scenes but finishes strongly with gusto like me with my waifu pillows.
if
- youre looking for just really awesome fight scenes
- have no patience/cant cant stand dialogue
- you still watch bleach
- spend the majority of your day trading pictures of frogs
- are an autistic meme making 12 year old (i.e. all of the above)
then this show really isnt for you. the first few battles are really short and kind of suck but everything keeps building to the final episodes. They are amazing in all regards and if someone disagrees, their waifu is shit.
the characters in this show are so well crafted. the personal journey and progression of the main characters was so very well done, as was their relationship with each other. the dynamic between the main characters in the way they were so shy in some regards but so close in others was refreshing and entertaining. for a non-romance-centric anime i ship the fuck out of those two and loved every moment of it. every side character, the main characters, recurring characters were all great and solid. i cant praise them enough ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
i really thought this one was going to be a lame as fuck 12 year olds cartoon but it was really excellent story telling, with really great characters and relationships, in an unconventional manner. a hair away from a perfect 10.
short hair togame obviously best you donger loving fuck

tl dr: you kinda want to kill yourself at parts but its overall, really sweet like catching a glance of side nipple when a mother breast feeds in public.
this animay shares overarching themes with nodame cantabile. the main difference is that nodame cantabile was boring as shit with annoying as fuck characters that wore my fingerless gloves thin with all my fist clenching and fedora throwing.
Shigatsu wa etc. etc was really well constructed in all aspects. a very simple cast with a slightly exaggerated yet non-complicated problem with hot grills and fast cars. artwork and music was straight fire just like my mixtape
...
everything was perfect for the first 10 or so episodes. i was writing pianoxkousei fan fic, i was posting pictures of rare frogs expressing how good this show was and saving cassette recordings (for when the aliens eventually attack and destroy all digital electronics and probe our urethras) of myself telling my future wife how good this cartoon is.
This is where things got complicated, like why girls always friendzone me even though im the perfect lover and all around nice guy. With blondy grill kaori out of the picture, the pacing of the show definitely took a hit. There was like 2 episodes of him just struggling to play his keyboard under the sea, there was episodes of him helping the lolli WIHTHOUT titty ribbons supporting her gigantic cans and just general tangents which made me question the direction of the show. Instead of concentrating on the nucleus of piano nerd, sporty nerd, blonde grill and sporty cod-fag with the 2 other keyboard players having fun and trying to fix his primary problem of being deaf AF, my 300lb ass had to sit through piano nerd coming to terms with his mothers death, triggering my ptsd of when i too, lost my parental figure of my 'XXX busty midgets on the beach fucking.avi XXX' VCR tape.
I get it, its a coming of age show first rather than a romance. But i was really expecting more slice of life, solving his hearing problem, dealing with tsubaki's feelings, dealing with watari's feelings etcetc. I needed the sense of closure on the issues it presented in the beginning rather than ignoring them, buying time for when kaori made her grand finale. It is no secret that fat/old carlton on MAL is a romcom fan and not so much a coming of age fan (FUCK 'stand by me' ), regardless of how well constructed, how sweetly or how touching it was. still good and 8/10 tho.
Tsubaki was a G. blonde grill was a G and good love interest. she had my donger raised. i normally hate main characters like piano nerd but he must be doing something right to have so many sexy grills after his donger.
The general consensus of this show is that it had too much melodrama that ruined the story. FUck those people, they are the type of people which poop naked in public toilets, eat pizza with a fork and knife and pour their milk before their cereal. i live for melodrama.
was this show better than toradora: no

tl dr; no spoilerino animingo - it sounds lame as fuck but its actually not bad hey.
This cartoon jumps straight into the action and doesnt mess about. The story was well set up and introduced with easy to recognise and interesting characters. the first 4/5 episodes are related to the over-arching story of needing guests with a few "character helping" episodes in between before finishing the main story. i normally hate this format as it means my fat 300lb ass has to sit through more aneemay and spend less time shaking hands with my man downstairs but it was very enjoyable, each episode had its
...
own charm and interesting conflict, i was never once bored watching this show. it was well combined humour and character/plot development. at 12 episodes long, it did well to tell a good story with a decent level of depth in an entertaining manner.
The strongest point of this show by far was the characters. I dont think ive ever liked a set of characters as much as this set.
The main character in particular was one of the most "normal" well rounded characters ive seen. It pisses me off when the main characters of typical shows get all shy when talking to girls, shy when bikini/sex related stuff comes up and just tries to be a goody two shoes in general. He was real, he did things to piss people off, he played the bad guy, he could actually hold a conversation with an attractive girl (much like me irl m'lady *tips federer* (yes i am single. my number is 6942042069)) he wasnt over exaggerated and did shit done without being too personal about it. No i am not homo for this guy but he was funny, had a complex and has a great bum.
the supporting cast was also well constructed with sufficient development to the extent that i could enjoy every appearance. the three bunnies in the costume were particularly hilarious. their male urges displayed by such a cute and innocent exterior was refreshing to say the least and very all around entertaining.
There wasnt much i didnt like about the show. The power thing that he gets is rarely used and is almost unnecessary to the point i forgot, on multiple occasions, he even had it. I felt the teaser you get for the next episode is pretty redundant and of course i wanted the main character to fulfil my dreams of tipping all the federers in the world towards the general direction of sento isuzu aka nicetitty-would-let-her-dominate-me-with-whipped-cream-and-dongers gun girl. it is no secret that fat carlton on MAL is a romcom lover and i ship the fuck out of those two like the titanic and the bottom of the atlantic.
Its just a short fun anime with a simple story and good characters that is fun, entertaining and funny for all ages.

tl dr no spoilerino - its like a fat kid falling over; entertaining but rather shallow comedy.
So the best thing about the cartoon that stood out was the characters. The producers of this show really nailed the anti social main character. He is definitely a weird guy that does weird things but they managed to make him not a hated character and yet not a likeable character either.
The same can be said about the female lead with dark long hair. She definitely was a fucking weirdo but in a similar yet different way to the main character. This resulted in a refreshing dynamic between
...
the two main characters in which they get to know eachother in a non-romantic way. This pacing adjustment to not force the main characters together quickly/at all was well received by me and my fedora wearing meme club. It felt more real and not forced as fuck.
character development is definitely a flaw for this show. few characters have significant backgrounding and new characters are introduced and more or less thrown away. i wish they had taken the route of concentrating on a few side characters. specifically hayama aka sexy-spiky-does-no-wrong-man and the blonde bitchy girl and lead females sister.
This show was a bit too harem-y for my liking. for a ugly AF loner, he seems tobe surrounded by girls that he could get on his tip after a few beers. there are like only 3 male side characters. 1 of them is a a hayama aka asian-channing-tatum, the other is oddly reminiscent of me; a manga loving fedora, trench coat and fingerless glove wearing memelord and a small boy which is pretty much a girl. the rest are all females with big bouncy melons that make my donger rise like my processor temperature when i edit my 3d virtual reality hentai in 4k.
its more like a slice of life cartoon that is like okay man. at the end of the day, watch whatever the fuck you want to. you really shouldnt take advice from a 300lb neckbeard memelord late to his shiftat mcdonalds.

tl dr no spoiler- these two dudes play cat and mouse and nobody wins
Im always suprised at how much the producers can fit into 13 episodes of an anime. This show was NOT one of them. After setting quite generic pretext with rebellious-badboy and goodygoody-nerdgirl these two cats pick the petals off daisys in the most generic will they/ wont they battle. It was probably as frustrating to watch as swimming behind the fat guy in the swimming lane when your you trying to show off to your gurl in the next lane.
I really thought they would have a huge climactic ending with emotion
...
and more confessions, but there wasnt.
I really thought Haru's conflicting past with his family and background would be expanded upon, but it wasnt.
I really thought the supporting characters struggles and conflicts introduced would be expanded upon and given closure, but it wasnt. Side characters come and go having focal time but dissapearing just as quickly as they arrived.
I didnt find the show parrticularly funny. I found the main characters to be quite 1 dimensional and particularly difficult to relate to and to like in general. There simply wasnt much to each character. As a result i found myself quite bored watching through the episodes. It wasnt a relationship i particularly wanted to happen because i simply wasnt interested.
I found myself dual screening with the highlights of boku no pico on my second, cum splattered screen whilst trying to concentrate on TnK
This review came out far more negative than i thought it would even though didnt find TnK to be a bad show. it was just rather bland and a bit weird.
If i had to describe it, it would be like a hippy eating a slice of pizza without any cheese on top with a knife and fork or a an italian man eating grandma chows special friend rice with a straw. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

tldr no spoiler - its really short and cute.
i really wanted to rate this higher, it really did very well in so many aspects.
The main characters were well fleshed out and interesting with their own problems.
Each episode was interesting and entertaining. i was never once bored even though they kept it simple. High school kids going through relatable struggles. what else would my 300lb ass want from a cartoon?
Music was really simple but worked so well at climatic points of the show. Just generally really well put together.
But many shows do this. So what makes this show stand
...
out from the others? Not too much i'd say. its just that; a short and sweet show about two characters which should have been, but werent. Its the most cookie cutter plot but it was done well. For that reason i cant rate it as high as i wanted but i would thoroughly recommend it to those that like this genre.
There were only a few weaknesses of the show. Most contributing to its length. Being short and sweet is a double edged sword with character development. I was pretty disappointed wiht the lack of development of the second love triangle murao-energetic guy ( anime so short i dont even remember his name) - and tanaka sensei. At 12 episodes long it might have been better to cut this triangle out completely but im sure that would have made the manga purists tip their fedora violently.
The second thing would be the lack of closure i got from the ending. It really probably was a character development story rather than a relationship story. They teased the relationship so wonderfully and i me, being a sucker for cartoon romances of fictional characters in a foreign country, wanted it so bad.

tldr no spoiler - its like honey and clover, but good.
If you liked honey and clover you probably wont like this show because this show takes the same concept and actually makes it watchable and entertaining. i really didnt expect to enjoy this show this much but i flew through the episodes. if i had to compare the two sensations, honey and clover would be like my deceased grandmother pulling out my pubes one by one using her "homemade tweezers". not that bad? females have to do this all the time? her "homemade tweezers" just happen to be her dentures. SnKnP was more
...
like when i spread peanut butter on my balls so my dog; Buddy, would lick it off. It was pleasurable and enjoyable.
It is however somewhat comparable to the GOAT anime toradora. both have such a strong cast of characters that are explored with good story telling and depth drawing the viewer into the show making them empathise with said characters. each member has his/her own charm that i thoroughly enjoyed. It was one of the very rare (talking like entei, suicune shit) animes where i liked every single character and felt that i had a good understanding of their viewpoint. They were relatable. More amazingly, it did this without being boring. Outstanding.
To compare the two, Its like smoking weed with your friends friend who swears hes a total stoner and gets high all the time but is way too obvious that its his first time smoking weed and he gets way to into it. youre still high as fuck but theres this annoying fuck telling you how stoned he is every minute. that is SnKnP.
Toradora is like smoking crack for the first time at a private box at a miku hatsune concert whilst you drink weaboo tears out of a champagne glass as your dick is being sucked my kim jong un.
It wasnt perfect tho. I couldnt quite place it as high as i wanted to despite having a warm fuzzy feeling after each episode ( a result of the anime, not because of my 300 pound physique of straining my heart).
The main character is such a fucking whiteknight sometimes. it really angers my neckbeard and i admit i was so frustrated my fedora tipped off my head and i knocked multiple bags of doritios onto my newly drycleaned waifu pillow.
The ending wasnt really what i wanted out of it. I want closure at the end of an anime. I dont want my donger half teased into a romance that just turns out to grow and develop and just abruptly stop. He has two great waifu's that want his donger and ends up with none. He doesnt need to work hard, he just needs to get a brain. The ending few episodes are definitely a let down for me.
Music game wasnt that strong. All the opening and endingthemes for this show were really great and went with the theme of the show really well. It was more the in between which was lacking. Some emotional scenes and happy scenes could have been really improved with a better score.
This review turned out to be far more serious and heart felt that i originally intended (for me anyway) but i think this is a testament to how much i really enjoyed this cartoon. Damn son, where'd you find this?
