And yes, I've been reading nothing but interesting manga that I find on reddit during my inactive time. Not so much anime since I started ignoring some genres cuz I got sick of them. Like "school" for example.

It's been the same with me because of work. It's very easy to sneak a peek at the office or just read while traveling, compared to trying to find the time to watch anime :D
Good to see that you are a fan of webtoons as well. If Solo Leveling is not part of those 3, check it out as soon as you can because you are really missing out. I've heard about The Gamer and I will most likely read it sometime soon but I didn't know about HCLW. Seems pretty interesting.
I'm also planning to read The God of High School.

As for recommendations...I've been reading a lot of fluff/romcom series lately xD I dunno if you are into those.
If you are, you can check out - Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. / Yancha Gal no Anjou-san / 5-toubun no Hanayome / Yakumo-san wa Ezuke ga Shitai / Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi.
Gokushufudou is also pretty good.

Oh, yeah! You were a programmer as well. I remember now :D Switching careers is pretty tough for a lot of people.
The only advice I can give you is to go with whatever you feel like will be best for you. But ALWAYS keep another option open. I have a relative is a financial director but still has 3 degrees in different majors because she never knows what might happen in the future. But that's going a bit overboard in my opinion xD

I heard that the parts of the anime ending were original and were different compared to the manga. But it's not so much so it doesn't prevent a second season from happening in any way.

I've been working in currency exchange company for quite a while now. I even got promoted to branch manager around the summer of last year. The sector I work in is Human resource management so I'm mostly dealing with administration work and our employees.
I also got my degree in Software Engineering two years ago but I haven't done any coding and designing since then xD I'm keeping it as a backup option for now since I love my current job.

I heard that the manga of Houseki no Kuni is also very good, yeah.
Yeah xD It's the best "diving" manga for sure xD I was pretty happy to see that it's also getting an anime adaptation. I hope that they won't screw it up with censorship.

I know very few people who are financially stable so it's pretty normal to have to give it your all at work, in order to put food on the table. Good to hear that you guys are doing alright!
As for me, I'm still living the life and having fun xD I'm not planning on getting married soon + I don't think I've met the right woman yet.

The anime that I liked the most from last year was from Fall 2017. It's called Houseki no Kuni. AND ITS CGI!!! I normally avoid that kind of animation style since they are usually very poorly made but this one was a pleasant surprise.
As for manga, Grand Blue. It's probably the best comedy that's currently being published and I highly recommend reading it if you still haven't.

I'm doing alright these days. Mostly busy with work and whatnot but things aren't as hectic as they were before the holidays last month xD As a result, I have time to hang around here a couple times a week and catch up on anime.
