The anime known as "ICE" is pretty much what would happen if some high school dropout otaku won $5,000 dollars off of a scratcher ticket, and decided to use that money as his funds to accomplish his life-long dream of making an anime. This otaku spends all $5,000 to hire a group of animators. That particular group of animators is composed of five of our otaku pal's high school friends who all learned to draw from this book.

So after using all of his funds to hire animators, our hero realizes that he has no money left over to hire voice actors or writers. He
...
relegates these jobs as well to his group of animators. Unfortunately, none of these people actually know the first thing about writing a story, so they decide to all pitch in in any way that they can. The only thing that our now desperate otaku can come up with is to make a bunch of slips of paper and have the animators all write two words on each of their designated slips. After collecting about 500 of these slips, the otaku throws them into a hat and pulls them out in a random order to create the story. Being that these are all pretty young kids just out of high school, unsurprisingly one of them writes "blows up" on each of his slips.
The story ends up sounding a little something like this: "All of the men in the world are dead because they exploded. Women now rule over a dying society incapable of procreating. Miraculously a baby boy is discovered by a group of female soldiers. They blow it up. Aliens show up and blow up the soldiers. The aliens then also blow up. Then birds turn into flowers. Then the flowers turn back into birds. War ensues. Everyone blows up." The story is about as unintelligible and nonsensical as it possibly can be and it doesn't seem as though anybody who worked on this atrocity really cared to speak up about it.
