Hadi Girl is your typical girl meets boy and slowly falls in love. school story, but with a few twists that makes it feel fresh and original.
The story is very entertaining, funny and full of feels at the same time. It is a fast read and hard to put down with very few characters that are easy to distinguish.
The art is good, characters are very well designed, but nothing spectacularly special, but for this type of story it doesn't need to be.
All four main characters are well rounded out with distinct personalities that compliment each others nicely.
If you're new to romance novels or manga, ... this is a good introduction to the genre as it is easy to read and entertaining.
The only draw back is that so far I have only been able to find 12 chapters out of the 30 that complete this story.

This is a story about a twisted relationship between a high school girl and a twenty something Otaku man that is forced to live with her and basically obey all her eccentric whims in exchange for her being a live model for a doll he is making.
It is just as creepy as it sounds, but it also has plenty of heart and will make you care for both main leads.
I have only been able to find up to chapter 26 of this series, so the translation is incomplete, but if you liked Sundome and want something similar, then I would recommend Ibitsu to ... you.

Where to begin! After reading the first couple of chapters you get the feeling that it is definitely going to be a story unlike anything else you may have read before, and by the end of it you truly realize what an epic saga it was.
Not going to spoil much about the story, but I am going to warn that even though it is ecchi, it is a very mature look at human sexuality and psychology. If all you're looking for is cheap trills, this is not for you.
This is an emotional roller coaster that'll have you laughing, cringing and crying from page to ... page... and the ending, all I can say is that the mangaka could've gone with the complete opposite ending and it is still would've been perfect.
If you are looking for a smart, dark, mature look into the human psyche, sexuality, and love, with very thorough character development and have no hang ups about your own sexuality, then I highly recommend Sundome.

This is a yuri romance story about a third year high school student who suddenly becomes the cooking club president because she is the only sempai and a 1st year student who has no business being in the club except for the fact that she thinks her sempai is very cute.
Since it is a story by the great yuri mangaka Morinaga Milk, you know there is great character development and chemistry between the leads.
It is not a long series as it only covers one year of school, but it is an enjoyable read with lots of feels and funny moments. It has very little ecchi ... and fan service, so if that's what you want, you might try looking elsewhere.
If you are looking for a short story with cute high school girls awkwardly falling in love with each other, then I highly recommend Himitsu no recipe.

Not much to say other than if you never heard of this manga, you need to read it now. It is a story that breaks all the normal tropes of your typical high school romances with well rounded, flawed characters that grow and learn as the story progresses. All the conflicts our main couple face are delt in a very real and original way with no (for the most part) unnecessary drama or forced situations.
This is a nearly flawless story that'll leave you wanting more after the series ends, even though it has a satisfying conclusion.
If you have a pulse, are breathing, and know ... how to read, I highly recommend Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun.

Sports manga is not for everyone, but what makes Baby Steps stand out from others is that the lead character Ei-chan knows nothing about tennis so we, the readers learn as he is learning and so all the needed exposition that's required in sport mangas does not feel cheap or forced.
The secondary characters get very little development, but that is ok because most of the story is about the tennis matches, which are beautifully drawn.
The romance is almost an after thought and feels a little forced at times, but it works for the most part. Natsu is very underdeveloped and that is the most ... unfortunate part of this manga as she is a very interesting character. In fact, it would be nice if there was a parallel manga that tells the same story, but from her point of view.
So if you want a sports story, or if you play tennis or enjoy watching tennis and have time to read a somewhat long, but we'll paced story about a kid that goes from knowing nothing about the sport to competing at the highest amateur level through sheer will force and smarts, then I highly recommend Baby Steps for you.

If you've never read yuri, this the perfect story to start. At first you think that is going to be about a popular precocious girl seducing a shy, innocent girl... but it is not, in fact we get no yuri until almost halfway through the story and the way it happens is so natural but also a bit sad and surprising.
As expected from a Morinaga Milk Sensei story, character development is done extremely well and the pacing is excellent. There are some clichéd misunderstandings at some point, but they don't drag the story down.
If you want to read a romance story where you ... will be heavily invested emotionally in the main characters, and don't mind that both of them are girls, then I highly recommend Girl Friends to you.
