Both shows are isekai and both shows are unique in their respective ways. Although Ojisan is set more in the real world, both shows also refer back to the real world/Earth. Many isekai's don't explore the depth that's possible when there are cultural and environmental differences between our world and a fantasy world. Isekai Ojisan does this by show how the MC is traumatized and tries to adjust to the new world in strange ways because his circumstances are unique. Saitou also has unique circumstances where he tries to adjust himself to the otherworld by trying to find fulfillment and make himself useful. Both Ojisan and Saitou find themselves more 'powerful' in another world. While Ojisan is simply more OP in terms of prowess, Saitou learns to apply his unique talents from Earth to the otherworld. The comedy is very similar. Although Ojisan is usually the main joke, the people around Saitou are the people who offer comedy. Both Ojisan and Murlock are creepy old dudes, although Ojisan seems to do those things accidentally. The animation style is a bit uniquely for both shows. Saitou's has a cleaner and slick style, with a gradient color similar to Mushoku Tensei. Isekai Ojisan is drawn less pretty, aside for the girls, and a bit more like a cartoon.
