What I like most in this Anime is how each character's personalities stand out.
They are 5 very different individuals living under the same roof, 4 gorgeous guys and a gorgeous girl(Sunako) who hides her prettiness in the dark. despite these differences; they're still able get along with one another only because of certain conditions, such as turning Sunako into an elegant lady.
~A mission that seems impossible to carry out. Will they be able to turn this cocoon into a beautiful butterfly in time?

The background music is great, I find the beat catchy and it stays on my head for hours ("Slow" by ... Kyoharu).
I also love the drawing, the body build of the characters are great and the way the artists drew their faces... just gorgeous!
I advise any one who craves for real comedy to watch Yamato Nadeshiko ^_^

Characters:

* Izumi Konata (Hirano Aya)- An otaku who has low grades and is not in a sports club despite the fact that she is intelligent and athletic. It is because of her addiction to anime, mangas and video/online games.(The blue haired one at the picture)
* Hiragi Kagami- (Kato Emiri) The older fraternal twin of Tsukasa. She has high grades but cooking is her weakness. her twin sister Tsukasa often asks for her help on her assignments. She loves reading light novels.( The purple hair, the longer one on the pic)
* Hiragi Tsukasa- (Fukuhara Kaori) The younger fraternal twin of Kagami. She is clumsy and always depend on her older twin sister. But despite her clumsiness and dependent, she is very friendly. 9The one with the shorter purple hair on the pic)
* Takara Miyuki- (Endo Aya)-a young lady from a wealthy family who is beautiful, smart, and well-mannered. She always uses extremely polite Japanese, even when talking with her closest friends.


Review:
let me go on with my own review since there really is not much to say about the synopsis.
Well, it is from a 4 paneled manga. It portrays the life of normal gakkou shoujos. each episode are really random. It features other famous mangas and animes.
For those who don't regularly watch animes and not really otakus, they totally won't be able to relate to this show but for otakus, well, this show has almost everything about them. This is their show.
They talk about random stuffs for each episodes.Like foods, school, culture, ranging from everything to almost everything.
What I don't like about this show was the food conversation they have at the beggining. It kinda felt misplaced. And what I like about this anime was the pinch of seriousness suddenly turning to a funny turn up because of Konata's humor.
Another thing I liked about this anime was Konata's friendship with Kagami, Tsukasa ang Miyuki. They are really close despite their differences. Kagami, Tsukasa and Miyuki still treat Konata as a dear friend despite her huge difference with them.

Characters:

o Aoba, Riku- The main character who just transferred to the new school because of his father's work.
... o Amamiya, Sayuri- A second year student. The most popular girl in their school. An almost perfect portrait. Good grades, modest looking and auras. She has everything you would look for in a girl.
o Tsukasa, Kasuga-A second year volleyball varsity player who ran into Aoba one day and appointed him to be her boyfriend. A type of girl who says directly and as honest as possible what she truly feel.
o Yayoi, Mina- A freshmen student. She is one of the best swimmers from their school who has hidden feeling for Aoba.
o Hiyokokkoko-A weird chick who has the strength of a muscle man... (really weird). Aoba is the only one who can understand him.

Short Synopsis:

The story of this series is centered on Aoba-kun. He is a high school student who had been transferring to different schools because of his father's work.
His life on the new school was much of an emotional roller coaster ride. He unintentionally captured the hearts of 3 girls. Tsukasa, Yayoi and Amamiya.
Just when everything is starting to be perfect, his parents told him that they would be leaving again. Everyone was devastated.
Among the three girls, Amamiya was the only one who never showed her feelings for Aoba, she kept it well shut until she found out that Aoba would be transferring next year... The thing is... Aoba kun really likes her from the first day of school but Amamiya is a type of girl who doesn't have the guts to show her real emotions. Aoba never had even the slightest glimpse of what she really feels towards him.
At the last day of their school . Aoba finally told Tsukasa that he never really loved her the way she did to him. (it can't be helped...) of course tsukasa was hurt because she really loved Aoba so much.
On the other hand. Yayoi, after telling Aoba how she feels about him, she let him go and prayed for his happiness after that.(woah... martyrdom)
And for the final ending I will just ask you to try watching the show... It realy is a great one.

Review:
There are some animes who started to get lame as we watch the episodes go by.. But this one is totally different. It will only get yuour attention as you go deeper. Especially when the romantic bonds mature. A bit of thrill because it will keep you guessing what will the characters do next.
I was even drawn deeper into watching this show because as the episodes go by, I realized that I can somehow see myself in one of the character there(amamiya san)... A girl with a short fuse.. someone who easily gets jealous, someone who feels pain whenever this special someone gets along with other easily. Someone who treats other people coldly when jealous. Shouts at people.. Ouch...
