The CRUCIAL thing to know to enjoy this show is: THIS IS NOT A FANTASY STORY. This show is a literal 1-1 representation of the reality with an anime filter slapt onto it.

For people initiated to economic principles it becomes extremely funny. While at the same time it is tragic. 'Cause yeah, people disappear when you mess with the currencies. For real. March 2023 is a great time to watch this anime.

The plot is obvious because you have all the key information given to you very early. The following 18 episodes are just a whole village of adults totally unable to connect 2 dots despite spending the entirety of their time doing exposition. You just want to shake the hell out of them until a spark turns their brains on.

They have litterally god-like omniscient dogs running around their village that contains all the knowedge of humanity. Maybe we should use that? Ask the appropriate question? Nah.
If you dont intend to take advantage of that, why would you run the risk of this knowedge falling into bad ... hands? The rat-monsters have captured one of this dog and use its knowdge to devellop their country? You mean that this never happened in the previous 1000 years?! You never considered this option? This' stupid.

We spend 18 episodes develloping a story about stupid rat-monster, that should not even exist in this world? They help you collect dirt samples? Are you kinding me?! Any child can litterally destroy a mountain by just thinking about it but you need rat-monsters to collect dirt samples?

7 episodes of worldbuilding, then zzzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzzZZZZ AND zzzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzz ZZZZzzzZ ZZZzzzzZZZZ zzzzZZZZzzzZZZ ZzzzzZZZ. ZzzzzZZZZzzzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzzZZZZ.
Don't get me started about all the zzzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzzZZZZ taking place after that! The show should have been a 10 episode serie.

In the meantime we could explore the nature of the telekinesik powers, the human subconscient or how it affects the world and its biome. Keep digging into the creation of a human society. But nah. Lets focus on rat-monsters. That's so cool
