Hey, no problem. I was just recently shown it myself but it proves rather valuble for showing trailers and stills as soon as they are available on the net.
Oh found this place while looking around on the web, it's a horror site called Quiet Earth that mainly focuses on post-apocalyptic subject matter, it's quite good most of the time too. It delves mostly into foreign and indy flicks of that type but it does look at some of the big budget ones too, it's worth looking into if you enjoy that genre.
If you like some post-apocalyptic movies (these aren't anime though.) make sure to watch Blade Runner, a classic. As well as the movie Eraserhead, that'll blow your mind. And you've probably already seen them but the Mad Max series is fairly decent. If you like zombies, I can give you several really good zombie apocalypse movies as well.
Also I Am Legend, the novel not the movie, is fantastic.
Alright, I might pick it back up then, it's just that I read through the first volume and I just had to put it down. I just do not like that kind of really sketchy kidsy art. Most likely it's because I grew up reading American comics in which there is almost no blank space between panels and they were all in color. (Although after reading Sin City and Black Hole, I'm beginning to like B&W a lot more.)
I see that you finished the FLCL manga. I tried to but I just couldn't read it at all, and I really enjoyed the series, I just hated the art and the insane amount of empty border space between the panels. No offense to the artist, but I know fifth graders that can draw better.
I just want to know, did they change the storyline any in the manga like they did in the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga? Cause if they did I might just pick it back up again.
Yeah, I liked Akira and I think Steamboy's done by the same director so I'll prolly like it as well.
And it's steampunk which I love.
I finally watched Ghost in the Shell: SAC and it was really good, I can see why it's one of your favorites.
Noticed you're watching Monster. I love the manga, it's so addicting.
If you like post-apocalyptic settings you should watch Ergo Proxy. I sent you the links now get on it! :P
Hey, thanks for sending me the wallpaper. I just now checked my email and got it, although it's been sitting there for quite a while now. But yeah, thanks. It rocks.

Some other good ones are Texhnolyze, Serial Experiments Lain, Wolf's Rain and Gilgamesh.
The first three are more of a dystopian type society than post-apocalyptic but I think you'll like them.
Here's that scene I was talking about in Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. It starts at 7 minutes in.
