Yeah the beginning was pretty boring from what I remember but I think there were some good stand battles in the beginnings like Diego's

Oh nice! knowing that the mangaka helped work on the film let's me know it's going to be pretty good

For Steel Ball Run i feel like it gets really good at the half-way point or near the end of the series. I remember I wasn't too fond of it at the beginning because it had a different feel compared to the other jojo volumes but when i read more of the chapters i started to really like it

I'll give them a try! I've seen Battle of Gods around more than the other Dragonball movies online and it looks reallly good.

But if it follows the manga plotline and there's stuff that's not in the original dbz anime i might give it a watch

I watched DBZ back when it was airing on TV, but i didn't watch all the episodes. I'm planning to go through the entire series soon including dragonball
