Yeah, I don't have a lot of money rn so it's all about making the most of it lol. Once I have money, I could see myself buying more manga. The nice thing is my local library has a surprisingly decent manga collection, so I've gotten to read a number of series physically, at least partially, for free.

I haven't actually read FMA yet, lol - I've just watched the two anime. I've heard people swear by the manga tho, I know some people think it's the best way to experience FMA. Pretty sure it's the exact same plot and all that as Brotherhood, except that the first part of Brotherhood is sped up a decent amount. I love Brotherhood so on that alone I'd say it's worth a shot.

I'll look into the anime vs game thing for Danganronpa more. I like to go with chronological releases for series usually, which would suggest game first, but if people vouch for the anime first I'll do that. It's not quite Fate or whatever but it is a little intimidating to try and approach as a series, lol. Either way, I'll probably watch the anime at some point.

Ah, gotcha. My collection of manga is really small rn because I only buy stuff I've already read (either digitally or through the library) and consider one of my favourites, so I only own the first volume of Chainsaw Man and the final volume of Girls' Last Tour - plus a collection of the first three volumes of Fullmetal Alchemist, since I love Brotherhood.

I totally get you on that rushing feeling. I don't speed through stuff, really - I tried on a couple series and just found I don't like forcing myself to binge watch - but I do definitely feel that need to get stuff "out of the way". These days, I bounce back and forth from wanting to hit whatever the next Important Series Everyone Must See is, and trying to find stuff that's a little under the radar to make my list more interesting lol. That's part of why I randomize stuff, it forces me to watch or read stuff I otherwise might not have, even though I have some interest in it.

I've been meaning to get to Danganronpa too, actually. I have one of the games downloaded on my Xbox but I haven't touched it. You like it?

The Promised Neverland was the 2nd manga I ever read! Only read up to volume 15 because I was reading it physically and the rest wasn't published yet. Really good!

20th Century Boys is by a mangaka named Naoki Urasawa. If you've ever heard of the manga/anime "Monster", he made that too. I think he's a genius at writing large-scale mysteries with lots of moving parts.

Parasyte is definitely high on my list to read (as well as watch)! Issue is, my list is pretty sizable and I pick out of it basically at random, lol. One day, though, and I'm looking forward to it!

Hey, good timing! Just finished Spy x Family earlier today! Well, I caught up anyway. #5 on my favourites now!

My favourite manga is Girls' Last Tour - that's where my PFP is from. It's a short little post-apocalypse kinda-slice-of-life - a bit odd to describe, lol, but I love it, it makes me very emotional. Most of my other favourites are pretty big names, so far - Chainsaw Man, Goodnight Punpun, 20th Century Boys, all that. I'm still pretty new to manga myself, so I gotta do a little more branching out, lol.

How about you? Spy x Family aside, I suppose - unless you wanna talk about it.

I see you like Spy x Family! I'm having a blast reading through it rn.
