There may be one or two small spoilers, nothing major.
The series, Glasslip, started out rocky. But many series that go places and turn out to be good sometimes do; I'll use Steins;Gate as an example. If you give a series with a rough beginning a chance it might develop into a decent, or in the case of Stein;gate, fantastic series. Glasslip does not do this,in fact I'm going to tell you don't even bother watching the first episode. From the extremely confusing and bizarre beginning, Glasslip, starts in a downward spiral. The plot is not explained to the audience, hell it does not even have
...
a fucking plot. There is hardly anything endearing about this show.
Story 3/10- The story line starts out extremely confusing, and leaves the view in a state of bewilderment. This sense of confusion is persistent throughout the show, and leaves the viewer wanting some sort of background on the characters.
Art 7/10- If there is one decent factor about this show, it would be its art. The art is decent, nice to look at, and it is the only part of the show that the producers got right.
Characters 3/10- To me it would seem that the producers sat down and decided to make a cast of characters no one would like. It is impossible to like any of the characters, and they never develop. They never dive into why Sachi is so against Touko being with "David". Why does she feel this way, and why is it okay for her to have feelings for someone else? It's such bull shit, piss poor writing. They don't explain why, after possibly threatening her chickens, does Touko fall in love with Okikura-san. (I warned you about spoilers, but you shouldn't watch this any way's.) There is no development whatsoever. On a side note that "ehhh" noise that Touko makes every episode pisses me off.
Overall 4/10- I think that Glasslip will be a memorable anime, memorable in how truly awful it was. It will be reminisced about with other titles like School Days. So should you watch this show? No, no you should not. There are far better things to watch this season. There is no need for you to torment yourself with this, you are better than that.

Soul Eater NOT is the prequel to the Soul Eater series. Although, the only likenesses they share is their name and characters. Those who have not read the manga may be in for a bit of a surprise, Soul Eater NOT is a slice of life and lacks much of the action and suspense Soul Eater has. But, what it does is give the audience a great background into the events that transpired before the start of Soul Eater.
Art: 7/10 The artwork in Soul Eater NOT was the only letdown for me. The art is quite different from Soul Eater's. To make the show fit the
...
slice of life genre the producers made all the characters more "cutesy". I personally would have rather seen it with the original artwork, but whatever.
Character 8/10: The characters are showcased well, and some background information is provided to make the characters seem less shallow. I enjoy the interpersonal conflict that persist throughout the show on who Tsugumi will choose as her partner.
Overall I rate it an 8/10. I feel this is fair because, for a slice of life anime, it has its fairly dramatic moments, coupled with other conflicts. I think if you have seen Soul Eater and are a fan, this would be worth your while. NOT really gives good insight into the protagonist from both shows and what led up to the events in Soul Eater. I would not suggest you watch this before watching the original Soul Eater or it will be very hard to follow and you will have very little enjoyment from it. Gagantous!

Have you ever felt alone? Do you have few to no friends? Is your sibling the only person you regularly converse with? Well, if you answered yes you may be Tomoko Kuroki! Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! or watamote is about a lonely high school girl who has trouble making friends. In the beginning of the show she resolves to change her lonely life and decides to try and make friends and become a popular girl. This, however, is easier said than done.
Tomoko is an extremely socially awkward girl and this usually gets in the way of
...
her trying to make friends, or even say hello to another person. The story is basically all of her failed attempts at making friends and becoming a popular girl. Her bizarre schemes to become popular usually backfire and make her worse off than before. Throughout the show Tomoko is the only character to receive any characterization. The show mainly focuses on her and her plight.
The music, especially the opening theme were great to me. The opening theme was a great auditory presentation of Tomoko's thoughts and emotions.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed Watamote. It is certainly cringe worthy, but, it is full of comedy that followers of the medium will enjoy. The story is very easy to relate to, whether you have no friends or find yourself feeling lonely time to time; it has something in it for everyone. I would definitely recommend this anime to anyone who enjoys an absurd, embarrassing comedy.

Nazo no Kanojo X is a very unique anime. Firstly, don't let the ecchi tag turn you away. While there may be some mature scenes and topics; this anime has a lot more to offer than big breasted bimbos and fan service galore. The story was a less than typical romance. Throughout the story the viewer could see Tsubaki's and Urabe's love blossom. This can be attributed to their peculiar way of understanding each others feelings. Their love is tested through several trials and tribulations.
Characterization was another high point. Throughout the show the protagonist grow and reveal more
...
information to the audience. The viewer gains much insight to the characters and how they feel or think.
The worst part of the show to me was the animation. While it is not terrible by any means, it leaves a lot to be desired. I could never get over how the character's eyes were drawn. Most of the time they looked crossed-eyed. There was also a lack of detail in the scenery. I also think that the producers would have been better off ending at episode twelve, instead of thirteen.
Overall, Nazo no Kanojo X is a delightful and enjoyable love story. While it does have some drama, it is rather slow paced. But, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an out of the box romance.
