If you don't like the artstyle, I understand. After all, it's taken straight out of the manga from the 70s and anime fans today are not used to it.
But like I said, the first episode is supposed to be confusing and is only just eye candy for the fans of the 1972 show. After all, Mazinger Z was the first super robot show ever and basically introduced the mecha genre. TTGL and the rest owes a lot to it.
The real thing starts at episode 2, and honestly, the show makes much more sense than any other mazinger shows that exist.
But really, come on, don't give it a low score if you only watched the first episode.
