About Me
I am a 24 years old otaku/geek girl who loves animes, dramas, mangas and video games. I am a web programmer who loves doing stuff on her computer. :)
I prefer watching anime with deep/interesting plots and characters. I, most of the time, do not like popular animes because it is full of fillers or ecchi. I do watch quite a huge range of animes but animes with great plot are my favorites.
I am really a fan of Japan and I am currently learning Japanese. I am really fond of the Japanese culture and I plan on visiting, and maybe working, Japan in a near future.
I recently started playing Mahjong and it is such a great game! I love it!
As for games I'm playing, there aren't much I play right now except maybe a few single players indie games, but in a near future, you will see me in Guild Wars 2 and Torchlight 2.

Yes, we do share quite a few shows. You've watched a lot more than I have, though. I don't know how people find time for that much anime. XD
You're right about Reki. She's leading in the poll in the Haibane Renmei group, but we don't know how the people who haven't voted there would vote. =P

I see. It always seemed to me that the popularity was the other way around, and Reki was more popular than Rakka. Even though Rakka was the protagonist, in the end the story was more centered around Reki and her problems too.
That's true, with only 13 episodes it wouldn't have been very good if they tried to include the other characters too much. There wouldn't have been enough time to spend on each character and develop all of them properly.
As far as Index goes it wasn't the moe elements specifically that turned me off, since I can enjoy some moe shows. I just couldn't get into the story or the characters at all. Admittedly the rating of a 3 may be a bit harsh since I tend to rate shows I've dropped lower than ones I've finished even when the level of quality is about the same.

I feel similarly about the Haibane. I'd say that Rakka is my favorite, but I liked Reki too so she's a very close second. None of the others stand out to me too much. Some of the characters from the factory seemed interesting but they didn't really get much development. It would be nice to see an OVA or something about them but that probably won't happen.

Katanagatari c'est bon, mais il faut être hbituer au très longue converstion.... Parcontre Gundam AGE, j'ai pas voulu écouté ça parce que je trouva ça lame de voir un kidpiloté une machine ultra complex et pire que ça c'Est le heros, sans compté que l'anime à aussi un disigne enfantin. Pou moi, Gundam sa dois être du sérieux. Essaille Gundam Unicorne, c'est rès bon et c'est juste des films, il en sort une fois par ans, on est déja rendu au 4e épisode. Le reste des anime, je conias pas.

I miss spoke when I said review. It was an old post at How to Watch Anime; the thread was Anime for the Experienced. What you wrote inspired me to watch Haibane Renmei sooner rather than later since I had it buried in my ptw list. I am a new member at HTWA and at that time, I was looking for ideas on what to watch and how to ideas for my profile. When I completed the series, I wanted to drop you a note of thanks; it was just a simple post, written awhile back and I am glad I found it.

In the wee hours of this morning, I completed Haibane Renmei. It was by pure chance that I ran across your review of Haibane Renmei, and I am so glad I did, even though I had it in my ptw list, it was your influential words that ultimately coaxed me into watching Haibane Renmei. It was a beautiful story that I needed to hear/see. Thank you.

I am new to the club, How to Watch Anime, so to get the feel of it I was going thru old post and came across yours where you were supporting someones opinion of Haibane Renmei and why an experienced anime viewer should watch it. It was buried in my ptw list, but based on your opinion of the anime, I went and dug it out and will be viewing it in my next series of anime.

Pour ton information c'est pas un serie populaire, c'étais tellment bizzare audébut que le monde on pas embarqué, je fait partie d'entre eux, et après quand tu comment à t'y mettre sérieusement, sa devien bon. J'ai abandonné après le deuxième épisode et j'ai recommencé à l'écote deux mois plustard juste parce qu'un gagne de dude sur un site on fait un poste disant c'Est quoi les bon anime qui m'érite d'être vu et que le monde écoute pas vraiment, Stein;Gate étais arrivé en 3e poossition. De plus des dudes on aprouvé lee fait que l'Anime est bon, mais très déçus parce que c'étais pas populaire.
Lit le review de c'est deux là, un c'est de l'information général pour lle monde qui veu débuté Stein;Gate...
