Yours truly started watching anime in 2020 and how he felt after completing the first episode of Deathnote cannot be expressed in words. Then Watashi got recommended to watch several thriller and sci-fi anime so he did. It made Watashi wonder how zis Japanese ppl get such remarkable ideas. Most fav genre is thriller (when u have no idea what surprise u r waiting Für). Most minor fav genre is Isekai (altho Watashi loved "Rising of the shield hero" and "Konosuba")

U are thrown into the story where u keep getting shocked by plot twists even before u get to recover from the previous one! Whenever a mystery is revealed, a world is created. The ost is sick af.
Steins;Gate (only seaon 1)
Nothing can be compared to this slow (yet deep) burner. This story tells you how to develop a simple plot within a real-life city (Akiba).
Oregairu Series
I can never forget that one line: "I want something genuine!". A truly inspiring story that taught me about the complexity of life and society.
