Hi Skepto! I also saw that our anime compatibility was high so i thought about sending you a friend request for me to find some anime to watch, thank you for passing by and accepting the friend request. And yes, kitties are awesome :)

Oh is that so? I have seen way lots of long anime. Not counting the ongoing popular ones... I can name, Shaman King, Law of Ueki, the Dragon Ball series, Yugioh, Reborn, Yu Yu Hakusho, D.Gray-Man... and much more. Just look at my list and click the Progress so the list will change the anime to the numerical list of episodes.

Ahahaha. I kinda understand what you mean... knowing it will give you more anticipation as when "when will it appear?" or something with those lines... it is fine for me if it is a major power up or a new move... but don't like spoilers if it is a major plot twist.

Well, it just depends on what anime it is really. Anime like Sket Dance and Gintama, which are popular shounen doesn't even feel dragged out compared to the popular ones. It is just because of their content. Battle manga that gets animated is quickly decimated that it catches up to the manga content, so fillers are really need. You probably dislike long anime since by knowing the episode count, it can really bring your motivation to watch down.

No one will judge you on your preferences, if you don't like something, then you don't like it. Just wanna say, I cringe when I see someone use "animes". The correct plural form of anime is still "anime".

Ahahaha. Pokemon eh? I stopped on playing it. I used to be really addicted to it. In my Pokemon Diamond game, I pretty much completed my Pokedex (of course without cheating). Even though the 6th gen looks tempting... yeah I am stopping on playing it.

Please forgive me if I reply late sometimes, that means I am just really drained, swamped with school work, or just plain lazy.

Okay, I finally woke up from the dead. I finally had a break after the 2 weeks that passed... had 4 midterms to write, 1 group report to proofread and finalize, 1 project to hand in, and a presentation. Sigh. Finally my workload has decreased a lot... only need to worry about my final projects, essays, and exams at the end of the semester.

Uhmm, this is a long running shounen anime... so that is to be expected... but Bleach is really a big victim of this. I actually seen the Naruto anime first in TV and I didn't give a care about manga really, since I only got access to manga during 2009. Since I loved the series so much, I didn't even have the idea that the stuff I am watching were fillers. Although I know what it is since I started Shippuuden.

Even with a lot of flashbacks and fillers, I still watch every one of them just to fill my Naruto crave every week. But because of these fillers, the manga is way ahead. So it is all good for me. As they step on like the second half of the war, they won't be able to put any fillers except for the flashbacks they may extend.

Yes, I admit Ichigo is badass especially when he did... okay, I am stopping there since you will be spoiled... but he is still a bland character for me.

And please don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say that. We aren't talking about any other anime here. We are talking Bleach. Not another anime. I didn't say that a character without goal applies to the other anime, which makes them boring or terrible. But if you look figuratively, every shounen manga you can think of almost has a goal that a character wants to obtain, or a reason to fight. I just find Ichigo to having not a goal since he never really admitted what he wants to do in the first place. He just pretty much fight without a solid goal within him.

I have never seen Spice and Wolf... but you said that they didn't reach their goal in 2 seasons, right? Then I assume that they still pursued their goal even if the anime didn't show it. It shows that they have the motivation to go on, isn't it? And yes, a story cannot be interesting without the conflict (Please don't mention the moe stuff, since I know what they are, they MOSTLY (NOT ALL) don't have conflicts and plot. I mentioned this so you don't need to rub it in my face.).

Ooh, didn't expect you pay attention on my tags. Ahahaha.

Uhmm. No. It doesn't feel that way to me really. While we mostly have Naruto winning his fights... he did lose to Sasuke. In the farther timeline, while they did keep winning... Asuma and Jiraiya died. In anime/manga fans... nobody wants the main character to keep winning all the time, but then they don't want a main character who always lose all the time. No matter which side you pick... it is not good... but a character who keeps winning can be better as long there is some sort of acceptable reason. No one will want to watch a loser protagonist who always loses. Do you re

While in Bleach... Ichigo may have lost to Grimmjow... and oops, since you are watching it and you do not read the manga, I am not spoiling you more. But I'll tell you that Soul Society always wins and nobody dies really (unless you get to the manga in the ongoing arc).

I really hate comparing anime since I watch anime as a whole, and I rate them as they are. No comparing done. But it is unavoidable in talking about anime/manga. Naruto is way better than Bleach IMHO. Naruto has a great backstory on the characters, and has a great elaboration with the story and has a better shounen mold where Naruto dreams of being a Hokage. But Bleach??? Uhmm. No. Ichigo is a bland character, since he doesn't even have a goal that he wants to accomplish. Why does he want to battle in the first place? Is it because he had these powers all along? I don't think so.

Actually, Zanpakuto arc was a filler. You should have just skipped that arc since it pretty much destroyed the overall flow of the Arrancar arc. Just watch the arc fully. Bleach is pretty much destroyed by the fillers.

For me, I really have a good memory when it comes to anime... so I can't really rewatch an anime since it is fresh in my head. I only do like rewatch a specific episode of an anime I like. I haven't really rewatched an anime. I am busy with school work too, I have two midterms to write and presentation to do in the next week. Sigh.

Well, I am tired of cat girls. I like bunny girls more since they are sexier.

Hmm, you got it reversed. Anime is ruining logic. But then, it won't be an anime without an excessive amount of blood. Even in real life horror shows, the expression of blood is always exaggerated.

I actually didn't know the extra in the end, although I knew from the start that Sakakibara's aunt is the teacher. I actually felt its horror since when I watch it... I always have in my head that when a character initiate the death flag... I always say... "Why are you so stupid???" This is such a plot device on stories really. Viewers know what the characters can do is stupid or not.
Fiji Feb 6, 2013 9:46 PM
Yes. That is what would I prefer too, if they just set the premise more on the SAO and did more plot onto it. Some light novel readers felt disappointed because the anime only adapted the side stories. Even though with a lot of timeskips... they should have shown how Kirito got the Elucidator at least... just like how you progress in an RPG.

I haven't seen a lot of medieval theme anime but I have seen Sacred Blacksmith. I actually like that series too, although people would just think... meh another meh battle anime.

I don't read light novels... so I am not that interested in reading it. I prefer anime than novels/light novels. I am more fascinated with watching anime than reading.

Yes, when the SAO arc ended... there is a lot of things you can expand into it... but it was compressed due to budget and the anime we get nowadays is always one or two cour anime.

Hmm, it is just my opinion anyways. You don't need to be so serious about it. I just like bunny girls more than cat girls. There is not a lot of bunny girls you know? But there are millions of cat girls.

For medieval theme anime... right now... the airing anime called "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha"(humans and demons), and Zero no Tsukaima (which is filled with magic) are the ones that I find pretty good in my medieval anime list.
Fiji Feb 5, 2013 4:09 PM
Sorry I have been very busy.

Speaking of SAO, it started out really good. Although it didn't live up to its hype. Yes, because of the contents being rushed. The premise could have been extended and adapted more of the light novel since I heard that there is a lot of stuff skipped.

The ALO felt so weak since it doesn't have the game over means death. So it would have been better if the story stayed in SAO. Overall, just as you mentioned, it really went downhill.

Well, just go approach people like on how you stumbled upon my profile. And what is wrong with bunny girls? They are way better.

Oh, then it is your fault after all. You should be more responsible on your actions. I am actually very lazy too, but I get my work done even if I don't wanna. So that is how I am able to get by. I am actually trying to not be lazy anymore.

That happens to me too, if I get absorbed on something, I can work on it for hours straight!

Well, it is not like I am forcing you. If you are talking just to me, or decide to talk with other people won't affect us... but it is better if you have other friends too. The more the merrier. And, you should add to your list to "watch more anime". Ahahaha. Good luck getting back on your feet.

If you have any anime you want to talk about that we both have seen, just give me a reply. I am down to talk.
Fiji Feb 1, 2013 9:39 PM
What? No no no. It is the same in social networking sites, you should change it once in a while. Ahahaha. You got that right, since your picture appears in my profile too, so having Asuna as your picture is a nice choice. I recently changed mine to Kurousagi, a bunny girl in an anime I am watching right now.

Another? Nice choice. If you watch it, it is better to set the mood by watching it at night in with your lights off. It will really give you the surprise. Well, why did you let your studies drop? Anyways good luck... also, I think you should talk with other people too, I am like the only one who talks to you.

Ooh. You're finally back.

By the way, I fulfilled my promise. I finished watching Chrome Shelled Regios!

If you want something from last year, take a look at my blog here. You will get an idea of what is good to watch. I have my top 3 for every year, so I think this will help a lot.

For manga, I recommend World Embryo and Gokukoku No Brynhildr. I am loving those manga right now.

Anyways, glad to see you back... although, if I can make a request... can you change your profile picture??? Changing your profile picture will indicate that you are really back. Kinda getting tired of that picture. Sorry. :D
Fiji Jul 29, 2012 5:14 PM
Brony. Well, it doesn't matter to me really. If that what makes you happy, then I don't interfere with people who loves what they love.

Okay, I will try to finish it soon.
Fiji Jul 21, 2012 5:37 AM
Been a long time since we talked...
First things first...

Happy Birthday Skepto!!!!!!!

What ya up to now? I am watching Shakugan No Shana... I haven't finished Chrome Shelled Regios yet.
Fiji Jun 6, 2012 8:59 PM
I haven't been able to continue watching it. I still can't give you my thoughts about it, since I have only seen four episodes. Probably when I reach it halfway.

I agree with you, with the recent chapter of GE.
Fiji Jun 2, 2012 6:41 PM
I thought you watched the anime. Of course, some loop holes can be found. I haven't tried reading light novels yet, though I am planning to read one of the most popular one, To Aru Majutsu No Index.
Fiji Jun 1, 2012 10:30 PM
You watched Hidan No Aria? Cool. I really loved that one. Kinji's hysteria mode was one of the best powers I have ever seen. The characters are moe too.

I am procrastinating too. I have 3 projects on my hand. But you surely raised the level of procrastination. Ahahaha. I wish I could get to watch CSR already, but I always wanna watch new stuff too.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
