"This is my review,"
"No senpai, this is our review!~"
Okay, okay, Yukina. I get it, I get it. This is OUR review. -COUGH- Ahem.
Anyway, let's get down to business. How do I describe Strike The Blood? I feel Strike The Blood was one of the best animes this winter. While other people found it quite mediocre, or annoying at times. Which, yes, I do agree that line did get annoying but I was able to ignore it because the plot drilled me into the series.
I've enjoyed the character growth within the show. Some characters are unfortunately hated, but I'll give a summary of why I enjoyed
...
this series.
You have Kojou Akatsuki, the male protagonist. Who is a vampire, he struggles every day life whether it is selfish or not to keep living a normal life then he gets wrapped up in dangerous things. I felt like his character grew with Yukina, while a lot of people may hate her but the reasons for her behavior is quite reasonable in my opinion; considering she didn't know how to socialize or know how to act like a normal human being. She was able to understand more being around Kojou.
I also enjoy the fact that this series didn't just FOCUS on Kojou and Yukina. I found the other cast got a decent amount of screen time as well. There wasn't many characters that annoyed me except for one, but I liked the consistency of the show; while the show has been done many times and isn't completely original. I loved the fact that Yukina wasn't in the same school as Kojou just to observe him, she was in another school. I would go into more, but I don't want to spoil for those who haven't gave it ago. This was just a fun series to experience this year; that made me want more and more.
So for the story, I will give an 8. Only because, I feel like there is a lot of things missing that need to be answered. This score will change if there is a second season.
And characters I will give a 7, their personalities meshed very well with the series and I loved how they all interacted with each other. It's like you can feel part of their group. I also enjoy the fact all of them got a good amount of screen time, though I wish Motoki got a little bit more than he had. He was amazing, and I can't stop thinking about Alvin from Tales of Xillia when I look at Motoki. I swear, those two look alike. OKAY, OKAY, back on topic. XD. I just hope if we get a second season, we'll get into more details about everyone's past lives since with the series being rather short and with so much going on, they didn't have time to fill in gaps about their pasts. This way I can really understand the characters at their full potential.
The art was crisp and clean, it was pretty to look at. However, they could've done without the green outlining or bright colors that may hurt the eyes at times. I think that was my only beef with the art other than it looking pretty. So I will give the animation a 8. Only because the animation sort of looked blurred at times which I hope they fix in the next season if there is one. I don't know how well the sales have been for this series, but I do plan to buy so it can work its way into a second series.
I found the sound tracks amazing, mainly the opening and endings. The sound track itself wasn't really memorable except when shit was about to go down. I only liked some of the soundtracks; so the sound I will give a 7.
Enjoyment? Well, what can I say? It was a fun ride while it lasted. It was sad to see this series end. I've written a review about this show before but unfortunately my comment had gotten removed so I am rewriting this. My overall enjoyment was 9.
I've already gave a review how I felt about the characters and another thing I like to add. I like how there wasn't TOO much fighting over the main male; and that Yukina didn't beat him up all the time, she scolded him yes a couple of times but she didn't take it too far like most tsunderes do. So I give Yukina quite a lot of props. I enjoyed that she didn't question much of Kojou and instead, trusted the guy. So despite what people may say about Yukina, I give her quite a bit of respect than most main females. Although, my main favorites were Sayaka and La Folia. : D OKAY,BEFORE I GET TOO RAMBLING ABOUT THIS ANIME.
Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10.

Forgive me, I suck at reviews. :'D

As I said in my Strike The Blood review, I do not write many reviews for anime so bare with me as I write something for this one. Honestly, I don't see why this anime is getting so many bad reviews its not as bad as people are making it out to be but of course that is my opinion alone. Now onto the review: I found this setting sort of unique from most animes and for the fact this anime wasn't a harem was a major plus, let alone there wasn't much fan service. It kept serious, and stuck with the plot which I
...
was glad for.
I was also quite pleased with the main female; Aiba Mui for she tries very hard to fight on her own without the needing to be saved and how she was devoted to save her brother, but I won't get into spoilers for people who haven't seen the show. For a young girl, I thought Mui was strong. I also was quite pleased with our male protagonist Takeshi Nanase; who had grown from the twelve episodes. I love characters who have strong determination. : D
The whole two worlds being separate; sort of gave me a Shakugan no Shana feel for the series which was a nice feel. The music was entertaining, the opening and ending were strong points in the anime as well as the way magic was set up in this series. And I like how Takeshi and crew were transferred into a Magic Academy rather than sticking around in High School; being ordinary the normal thing anime tends to do.
And this anime has a lot of nice twists and turns. But again, I'm not gonna get into that because it will be spoiling. However, I'm not going to give this anime a perfect score; considering it ended in a cliff hanger and these type of series I feel needs 24 episodes or more so characters can have room to grow. And have more time.
Also the art was pretty smooth to look at as well. Another good work by MadHouse. : D
Hopefully it will get a second season!~
I give this anime a 7, I would give it an 8 but a lot of questions are still left unanswered and let alone the cliff hanger. My score would change if this series gets another season. :]

This is my second review of an anime series. Please spare me. xD;
I don't do many reviews on shows but I would like to review on this one. Since this series touched me a lot and its my childhood. :P
One of the series that expanded my variety of anime after Inuyasha and Shana.
Story:
You have Louise, your mage that possess terrible magic and a boy that came from another world. He has to deal with the customs in Louise's world and has to face many obstacles; and with war, I'm not gonna spoil. Or I will try not too.
This series is a comedy, so it
...
does have some harem/ecchi involvement. Though, I think this series would be better off without the ecchi and the harem. That way, the characters have room to develop.
So I would give the story an 8/10.
Art:
The art is very beautiful to look at. I love the character designs of the show; which made me want to continue to watch it. The fighting scenes was well done; with the graphics. I wish more anime would have art like this; and the art also reminded me of Shakugan no Shana. With Saito resembling Yuuji. :P"
So yes, 10/10 for the art. 8D
Sound:
Some of the music in the anime was really pretty, I liked how it worked well with the show. But I could NOT stand the ending themes. The opening themes were more--enjoyable. But I liked the second seasons opening the best overall; so the sound I would give
7/10.
Characters:
The characters could use a little bit more development in the show. Like everyone else has said; I think Louise should START to trust Saito more instead of beating the poor guy senseless; and Saito should try to control himself more around the women. But then again, he's a 17 year old boy and pretty much the only guy other then Guiche. But what disappointed me, some of the characters you don't get to know about. And they're just there.
Like Siesta, Kirche, Guiche, Montomorency. I probably spelled her name wrong, so shoot me. Lot of characters like those are so undeveloped, it makes me a bit sad that you never know anything about them. The only real characters that are actually developed are Tabitha, Julio, and Agnes.
I'm not saying that Saito is undeveloped since he does get stronger within the series and doesn't remain, "weak," throughout. I just wish they would give more bio on Saito; like his past. Etc. But what puzzles me, I remember him in the first season saying he does not have a family. So that makes me wonder about him more.
But overall, the characters COULD use some improvement.
To make a better series.
So I give a characters a
6/10.
Enjoyment:
The series kept me watching until the very end. So despite the negative things about the show; it still made me want to keep on watching more and was sad about the end of the series. The season I liked the best was the second and the fourth season. Since characters started to develop more then; but you still wish to know about them. :P
So Enjoyment overall in Zero no Tsukaima.
8/10.

After watching the whole series of Sword Art Online. This is the one anime that kept me watching. Most animes I've ever come across, I would get heavily distracted and forget about the series completely. But this one kept me watching and I hated the wait for a new episodes.
Kirito and Asuna were very enjoyable characters. They both went through so many struggles though their struggles is what made them stronger. I fail to see why people call them Mary-sues or Gary-stus, yes while Kirito does always come up with a solution for a plan. He has his flaws too.
He doesn't always have everything his
...
way. And neither does Asuna.
But that's soley my opinion. This anime isn't too bad and most animes would have a lot of fan service that draws away attention from the series. So you gotta give this series an A for this.
Not saying that there isn't fan service or ecchi in this anime. Considering a lot of the girls are in love with Kirito; but hey. What do you expect? Lot of other anime have that and people don't say much on them. The virtual world death game was genius; even though this story does remind me of .hack with the MMORPGS. I've enjoyed SAO more.
The animation was great, the music was awesome, YUKI KAJIURA. Favorite artist to compose music; so that's enough for me.
But yeah, I give SAO an 8, because I do believe they should have played with the SAO arc a little more before going into the FAIRY ARC. My only complaint is I feel they have rushed it to get the series done. SAO should have had its own season. Not just be split into two arcs. But the way they ended it was awesome.
