Quite a big fan of rhythm games - they usually have good soundtracks so I keep an eye out for them occasionally.
Indeed, in fact we're usually talking over Discord if we're not playing games. They're quite the fellows :)
Well I mean don't rush it. If you could hold down your hype for a month you could probably get them for a lot cheaper thanks to Christmas deals.
Just vaguely, friends of friends type of deal. It might as well be a stranger lmao, so I'll probably use my friend as a hub of communication to talk to his friend who works there. There's some things I'm craving to get and money's the only way to do that lol.
VariFox Nov 12, 2016 8:58 AM
From what I've heard it's easier to be more accurate with a tablet but like the second best player of Osu! uses a mouse so it's got me semi-confident lmao xD
It's incredibly fun to play it with a large group of friends. You never know who to trust ◔̯◔
Ah, a lot of friends steamshare with me because I have a decent-good steam library. $100 seems a little much just to get a little extra of a game that was horrendously shot down in terms of hype by it's own community.
Aw, okay :3
That's actually quite a decent pay for simply box moving. I'd definitely take up that offer. There's a fast food restaurant hiring at $13 but the working conditions are horrendous, so I'm still deciding whether to take it lol.
VariFox Nov 9, 2016 7:24 PM
I wouldn't exactly call myself good at Osu, but I'm proficient. And I would definitely NOT play a touchpad with any PC game at that - I actually forced myself to play Garry's Mod TTT with it for 2 years and even though I was a pro with the touchpad at that point, the mouse was far superior.
I only played MW3, lol. What's new to the remastered edition?
Sorry laptop :<
Ah, well best of career luck to you. Getting a job isn't easy, but once you get it at least you'll be pulling in some form of income.
VariFox Nov 7, 2016 6:10 PM
I actually just got hooked on Osu thanks to some pals. I've always been a sucker for games with good music but Osu is pretty much a whole new world of refreshing lol. Other than that mostly just the same old csgo lol. What about you?
Ew. As much as I nag and complain about windows 10, I found windows 8 to be far worse. If you are going to be needing a laptop for two years, I'd definitely recommend sprucing up your current one with a more current version of Windows, better hardware, or just generally a better laptop. You do not want to have to deal with malfunctioning technology in the middle of a semester lol, not fun.
VariFox Nov 5, 2016 12:54 PM
I feel you lol. Time is rough when you've got a million things you're wanting to do.
The Binding of Isaac can get pretty RNG-y, but yeah it's pretty noice overall. It also has an extremely convoluted story so trying to understand it is like solving a puzzle.
Are you running Windows 10? A friend of mine found that his computer was trying to open and use a ton of different programs that weren't needed (Excel, Cortana, etc) that just slowed down his performance.
VariFox Nov 4, 2016 4:34 AM
Yeah probably to be honest. Valve is dumb but they're not entirely stupid.
True, the sessions for Counter-Strike are relatively long. If it comes down to quickly sitting down and playing a game in a short period of time I usually play a solo game that can be exited at any good time, like Binding of Isaac or something.
I used to have a laptop that did that all the time lol. I don't know what's with laptops being notorious about shutting down randomly because I have a friend and his laptop shuts down randomly all the time too.
VariFox Oct 30, 2016 8:40 PM
What? Lol no, he went inactive a few days after that he carried us and has been offline since. God knows what he's up to anymore lmao.
PC gaming is master race, duh. You should join the dark side :>
VariFox Oct 28, 2016 5:57 PM
I know right?! I'm glad someone shares the same opinion as me, I thought I was the only one going crazy with these vision to preference issues lol.

"Have you played it before?"
Yeah, I guess that's one way of putting it....

Actually, in about the 20th game I played (I was level 30), I got queued with a hacker who hacked his way to complete the heist with all the money at the very beginning. Plus the guy was pretty funny so we added him and got carried to first tier by his hacks lol.
It's extremely pay to win and it gets tiresome over time. I wouldn't recommend playing it unless you've got a party of friends with you because it can get old without them.
VariFox Oct 24, 2016 5:22 PM
I'm blind anyways so I don't have to squint to try that lol. I've never worn contacts because the idea of them freaks me out and the glasses I'm supposed to wear are broken and I'm too lazy to go to the eyecare specialist to get it fixed - besides I don't like wearing them anyways lmao
"I stopped playing it because I can't afford to spend £40 on dlc every couple of months XD"
Did someone say Payday 2?
VariFox Oct 23, 2016 11:16 AM
Would probably be a good idea, but my field of interest is starting to shift a little so I'm gonna hold out on that. Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless :)

Definitely lol. Graphics from modern computer games and graphics from old console games greater than a decade ago look so different - it's hard to ever imagine I'd be able to play a game with such poor graphics and still see so much in it lmao.
Never played Destiny and heard it was pretty much P2W. How is it?
VariFox Oct 21, 2016 4:20 PM
Ooh, that's a good question. I guess I've never really thought about it - there's a government-hosted environemental center nearby so I guess I was just planning to travel to the corresponding site when deemed necessary and otherwise just be doing statistical or laboratory data compiling.

I think we all have a softspot for the old consoles we all grew up with - I certainly will never forget.
Time? Yup nope probably gonna be a while before I build my computer then lol.
I also love being the specialist in a certain role in RPGs, especially the scout/quick-light-armor-build/thief class they most usually have. What's your usual pick for class in RPGs?
VariFox Oct 20, 2016 3:13 PM
No not really to be honest, it's just something that's picked up steam money-wise around here and I'm probably bound to jump on the train lol.

*I started with the gameboy advance color as my first console lol
I know - I need to get around to making my own computer because mine is such a piece of trash lol
Never played Borderlands before, have certainly heard a lot about it though.
VariFox Oct 19, 2016 3:20 PM
Don't worry, I've been pretty busy myself lol xD
Probably as a park ranger or a variation of a chemical/biological engineer to study ecosystems and animals of the sorts, and to also sort out issues those environments or species face.

I used to be a console gamer for a long time myself - it's only been around half a decade that I've moved on to PC gaming.
I love the style of the FF games but the storyline is so confusing to me - kind of discouraging to play the game when you don't understand what's happening lol xD
VariFox Oct 16, 2016 12:01 PM
I like to be in laboratories and study fictitious theories of mine, but for something that'd actually probably sustain me economically I'll probably go into engineering, most notably environmental engineering. Probably just a vocational school for 2 years and then a university for the last 2 to get my bachelor's.

Most of my logged time comes from when I used to play Garry's Mod and TF2 all the time, now it's mostly just CSGO. What about you? Are you crazy in any games right now?
It’s time to ditch the text file.
