Fantastic pacing. This movie has been criticized as being structurally similar to previous works but the truth is this movie had WAY better pacing in the sense that I never got bored and my attention had been kept consistently throughout.
Superb change. I've been saying for years that Shinkai's works desperately needed to portray chairs possessed by humans chasing spirit cat entities around Japan's country side. And now it FINALLY has!

Soul Eater NOT is NOT good and it is NOT a good spin-off to Soul Eater.
This is one of those things where you watch it for hints of already established characters but you end up watching a sorta yuri anime. Now myanimelist.net says I need to write a longer review but there isn't much else to say unless I waste more time than I already have dissecting this non-expanding Facade. ... I just read some reviews with the plan to counteract them but I ended up noticing the same arguments I made being used (also I wasn't standing out with my jab at the NOT title) |
