Wow, this short was really something special, a nice story with a nice soundtrack.
Story - 9/10
Normally, with anime's shorter than 10min, you never truly get to know the characters, it's always over just as you start to get into it. This though, it's about a long distance love story. A quick summary would be: The man is always trying to come see the one he loves but he awlays has something stopping him, whether it be work or he's sick. As the song goes on, they get older and they start meeting up more. The rest I leave to you to watch.

For this review, there isnt really much to go off on, as it's pretty much two animators singing about how much they love Japanese Animations.
Story - 4/10 As I just said, there isn't much "story", it's just a short animation with occasional pictures showing an animation studio and the people in it. Nonetheless, it was quite entertaining to follow along on the little journey. I onlny give it 4/10 because of the lack of story due to it only being about 3 minutes long. Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, though sometimes a bit hard to follow because of its largely politial derivation, is nonetheless an interesting and entertaining story.
Art - 9/10 The animation is nothing out of the ordinary, this said, it's still beautifully animated. Sound - 8/10 Nothing really to say here, no complaints nor suggestions, it was good enough for me. Characters 7/10 Some characters are easily liked, while others take awhile to get attached to. For example some characters who have malicious intent, are still being treated as innocent, and this can carry out over multiple episodes and given the low number of episodes, this can be a bad thing. ... |
