A shoujo-ai lover; I’m proud of that.
Thanks to
NanoFate for the awesome Nanoha x Fate MegaPack
I’d been an anime lover since I was 5 years old, with the old series like
Macross, Mazinger Z, Voltron, Tesujin 28 (a lot of mecha, don’t you think so). Then a couple of shoujo series like
Candy Candy, Sailor Moon, Heidi and Magic Knight Rayheart. You could say I only watched the popular series back then, but that was the only way to see anime for me at the time.
Following those years came the shounen age; with series like
Saint Seiya, Dragon ball, Captain Tsubasa, Salm Dunk, Escaflowne, Slayers and many more. Even Pokemon and Digimon were well received in the beginning (at least for 2 or 3 years). Oh Lord, those were good times.
Then, in 2000, Sony gave me the greatest gift ever with
Locomotion Channel (now Animax LA). Thanks to them I’d the chance to see real masterpieces like
Cowboy Bebop, Saber Marionette saga, Neo Genesis Evangelion and a lot more. Thanks to that I became more involved with anime and manga (even without knowing it back then).
I also influenced my cousins to follow me; we saw together series like
Sakura CC, Rurouni Kenshin and Kaleido Star. I’m glad they really enjoyed those shows alongside me, because we had something more to share at home over the weekends. They still love anime; but not at the same level as me.
Finally, I was able to get my own series on the internet in 2004. With
Love Hina as the first series I enjoyed after downloading it for almost 2 weeks; my joy was obviously here. Since then; I’d seen more than 400 series, maybe 500 OVAs and almost 100 movies. It hard to remember it, but I do remember well those series that touched me deeply for one reason or another.
It has been a fun ride so far; maybe I’ve lost a few things on this path, but I don’t regret it at all.
....
Code Geass R2 has ended, with that a lot of emotions came out... I wish all the happiness both of you deserves.
