Hello i saw u left a comment like a min ago, so i figured u might be online.. my name is eric, i have never had any interest in anime, but in the midst of reserarching the myth (history of "Awilda") The alledged female pirate who became queen of Denmark, i was led to many "Manga" refrences , I honestly don't even know what manga is. In the past 5 min of googling i have deducted that it is a very popular thing in Japan. I don't even know if it is an Anime series, or a type/style of Anime. I have tried to find a place to start My Anime experience , but honestly I can't find any episode of anything where I can just jump in. I am utterly confused..on you tube i watched "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya " but after 10 min of complete befuddlement, i realized that w/o knowledge of back stories and character familiarization, there was no point. So bottom line, can u or can u refer me to someone or something that can serve as a Mr myagi, or Morpheus into the overwhelming world of anime?....my opinion has def changed..i once thought the whole thing ridiculous, so it's ironic that me , a college graduate cannot comprehend a cartoon..lol
