Yes, both the stories in the manga go further than the anime does. I hear the claymore arcs in the manga that go beyond what the anime showed are amazing.

Havent read claymore yet. I want to just havent had time but the anime was pretty good and bloody. Reminded me a lot of berserk. So if you like berserk and its anime style you will like the claymore anime.

I forgot you liked the Gantz manga a lot. you should check out the anime. Although, the anime ending is a bit awkward and I know that the manga goes a lot further than the anime does its still quite entertaining.
