To be honest, Gundam SEED and Destiny aren't too different. xD When I watched Destiny, it was like a repeat of everything in the first season, and some extra stuff. I never watched an anime backwards before.. (like the sequel, then to the original) So that has to be an interesting experience. xD
Well, hm.. I think the original Gundam series (and Gundam WING) and Macross series are the best of the best when it comes to mecha. I haven't seen them all. D: Evangelion is also a classic. I also enjoyed THE BIG O. <3
I looked into Reideen recently, a promising-looking mecha series, but I haven't watched more than three episodes...and the action is very slow.. But you might like it! And I'm about to finish Karas, which has some of the best fight scenes eveeeer. But the plot is major confusingggg. =.=;;;
