Pretty much feels like a point and click adventure game, serval chan and kabban chan (the human girl) travel across many biomes of nature, while meeting new friends along the way with their own problems that can be solved with friendship. This anime has low quality visuals and the horrible CG everyone hates so much, however if you look past this (just like any nintendo game) you will find a fresh welcoming anime that rewards the viewer the more they watch. the music is nice and catchy, and the character designs themselves are very much cosplay material. i had a lot of unexpected fun watching

Chuunibyou demo koi ga shita! 9.5/10 Year : Aired around 2012
Introduction- Blast reality, burst it into shreds, banishment this world. A quote that is famous in the anime and describes what the anime is about, the harsh reality and the escape to a make believe world using imagination.oh and love as well. I generally don’t watch romantic anime, especially if it’s not yuri anime, however this has got to be one of the best I’ve seen and one of the believable one as well.
If you like slice of life and love stories then this anime would be awesome for you, however if you typically do enjoy
...
fantasy type of anime then you may enjoy it a little more, and will appreciate the anime for what it does.for a short anime series it tells a solid story any otaku can relate too and presents something worth watching.
Appeal - If you ever played soldier,or pretend to play as a knight fighting a dragon as a child then you would understand the appeal the anime has,and the clever way the anime series seems like it’s a sci-fi/supernatural when it really isn’t. The anime is more about growing up and facing reality,at the same time trying to hold on to our childhood memories however we should always look forward to the future ,that is how memories are created in the first place.
Content - it’s a romantic-comedy which the high school life, and i normally don’t watch this genre since there mostly never good or the romance just isn’t believable. However this anime does it right, well not even right the writers made it perfect in this case. The anime also does a good jib teasing the romance between characters, one moment you think someone is about to confess there feelings because of the background music playing, but then it really isn’t and it turns out to be something funny such as “your shoe is united” (an example) when it comes to comedy this anime delivers with tons of cute and funny scenes as well as relatable ones about growing up.
Plot- The anime’s main element is the “Eight grader syndrome which is pretty much the role playing and the extensive use of the imagination, this is also what the word chuunibyou means as well. For example Yuuta (also known as togashi) used to pretend he was a great warrior known as dark flame master of course this was all his imagination and when he starts high school he wants to leave his past life of being an otaku and was willing to give up his collectable items such as swords and costumes. This is so he could fit in and become popular, get a girlfriend and have a social life. The second Main character is Rikka takanshi she is the girl with the eye patch, she is like yuuta except she still acts childish and has the “eight grader syndrome” while yuuta is trying to forget about his, after all this rikka becomes his friend because she saw him acting out his imaginations as dark flame master, and she found it really cool.the relationship between builds up and starts off cute with yuuta taking care and looking after rikka since she could embarrass herself at school for acting silly.as he tries to keep her under control and prevent her from talking about his past otaku life so he can fit in,they start to hang out with each other. The side characters are great and add a lot to the story and they become important characters as well. i wont go into detail here part of the charm is learning about them as the show goes on.
Flaws- there is only a few of them and its mostly the side characters i didnt like all of them and some were too shallow, but its very minor and they all a role in the anime that is done well, another thing is that it is too short,i know it could be seen as a long movie, but i just felt like it could at least have two more episodes to the story.that being said the pacing is probably the best ive seen for a romance.another thing is that the whole roleplaying that rikka does can get cute and funny but played out, still even talking about the anime in a negative way just feels wrong.
Music: The opening theme is called sparkling daydream, and its a cute song about love, the opening that uses the song is also well made and you will notice half of the screen will be white to show credits, but you can say its also showing rikka’s point of view because of her eyepatch.the anime also has good background music to fit the mood in certains scenes as well, one thing i didn’t like much was the ending song for each episodes, not to spoil anything but there will be times where the episodes ends with a sad song and you hear the ending song which is more upbeat than the actual opening.either way the music is very well done and the opening has found it self a lot of parodies of youtube.
Art: the art-style and animation are really amazing and consistent, the style reminds me of k-on,just a tad bit, however i do think they were done by the same artists.
Final opinion-Even with 12 episodes the anime manages to build up the love between the characters really well, overall all the elements that the anime offers creates a great short story about love and growing up to face reality.in fact it almost reminds me of a miyazki film where it involves some kind of romance and the whole growing up aspect.this was one anime i didn’t just enjoyed but absolutely loved, the anime was clever, funny and of course the romance was great, coming from a guy who normally doesn’t watch it. i truly recommend this anime,is just a lot of fun to watch and will keep entertained all the way through.
anything else- A great anime that is good and piecing together the smaller story bits into one great conclusion There is also a short separate series with the same name but with lite at the end, there more like the ova of the anime and don’t add much,i suggest watching it after you seen the main series.
Thank you for reading. Arigato.

yuyushiki is really about making someone smile and laugh which is the true form of happiness, and the anime does a great job with that logic.,an anime with slice of life and comedy just like nichijou…the only difference is that yuyuhiki is a seinen anime and filled with more mature themes,so is this mature version of nichijou worth it..?
Content- As of now the anime only has 12 episodes, with a possible second season eventually,Yuyushiki is based off a manga that uses the 4-panel design of comics as seen in many other mangas of the same genre. speaking of genre this anime is more of a peaceful anime
...
with little conflict at all,and at times its just a playful joke or the characters annoying each other.Yuyushiki is a slice of life, that not only takes place in school but outside as well, some episodes aren’t even at school at all,it is also a comedic one, instead of a drama based anime, and lastly the anime is a sienen one, meaning it is for older audiences (mostly males) while nichijou was for younger audiences,so it is normal to expect mature themes in this anime, but thankfully its not filled with ecchi or crude humor and for the most part its safe to watch. The anime also contains some yuri jokes and a lot of randomness which can be enjoyable since it makes the anime unpredictable.
Plot- the plot is simple high shcool life,as in japanese high school the best times are from clubs so the main characters, yui the main girl who is smart with blonde hair and deals with the other two girls who always tease her, yuzuko the pink haired one who makes up most of the jokes, including the yuri ones.and yukari the blue haired who acts silly in a way like osaka from azumanga daioh. they join a club called the data processing club where they write down information even tho there is already a wikipedia.there the first in the club and so far are the only ones. Later in the anime more characters are introduced such as the teacher who is referred to as “mom” by the main girls, and a secondary group of girls who befriend the main group.
Music/voice- the opening is standard and nothing special, not bad but not great, the ending song is good too, they made the opening hyperactive while the ending is slower paced, which is good when an anime does this letting you know that the anime is over.the anime also uses themes for characters as well which is also good and they can enhance the anime. As for the voice acting,it is what you expect ,it is great and very well done.with yuzuko being the best, having changes in her voice to show her emotions or to mimic voices to create jokes.and yui for having her i’m always angry voice but knowing when to change it to happy or sad when needed.
Animation/Art- the animation and art seem a bit outdated and nothing compared to recent animes,so you may get the feeling this anime is from 2004 or something, however the art is great and can be detailed when needed. the anime also has a similar art style to that of nichijou and lucky star but still has its own unique style which makes it awesome.
Appeal- its too early to say what appeal the anime has yet,but the animations can make for some great gifs, and various clips are on youtube,i think the anime will get slightly more popular over time but since the anime is also short it may not happen at all.yuyushiki can still be appealing if you just want a simple, but random anime that will make you laugh and enjoy.
Final opinion - if you are into slice of life like azumanga and nichijou then this is a good anime.the best i can say about it,is that its trying to be cute and mature at the same time.really good anime are actually only 12-14 episodes
but this shouldnt be the case with this anime
this anime has endless comedic possibilities and scenarios which can get at least 5 season, similar to polar bear cafe. which had a lot of seasons for a slice of life comedy.
another thing i didn’t like is how fast the anime went in the timeline. the first episode they enter high school as freshmen, but a few episodes later they are on summer vacation, and celebrating new years and much later they finish that school ,so the pacing is a bit fast,in a way it felt rushed. which sadly stops the anime from becoming as great as nichijou or azumanga, hopefully the anime will get a second season in the near future.
and as always
arigatou ^_^

SPOLIERS—- May Include spoilers
Introduction -Make the kill me,and make me your baby! Its a random anime!
Kill me baby is a short 13 episode Anime made by J.C. Staff during spring of 2012.If you want a random anime that doesnt take it self seriously then this is the anime for you.
Content-The anime contains 13 episode along with several short speical episodes that count as one episode itself (OVA).As far as the genre it its a comedic slice of life that can get very random and will not feature a plot whatsoever, instead it uses the basic settings it gives the viewers as the base for the each
...
episode. This is also a SFW anime with mild cartoonish violence and little to no swearing. The whole anime itself reminds me of saturday morning cartoons, simple and fun to watch.
Plot- The anime itself doesnt really have a plot, think of it as the simspons or a comedic sitcom, where it uses the basic settings of the show to make every episode possible. With that being said the setting its a typical high school with two main characters who fit the typical 90s cartoon style AKA the cheerful, and dimwitted character(yasuna) along side with the grumpy, and smart character(sonya). This works for this kind of anime, because it doesnt take it self seriously in anyway,if the anime was a plot driven, realstic drama then yes it would fail.
Yasuna is the main character here, she is the typical high school girl..well she is unique by being being silly and loud, while sonya the blonde haired girl is a hitman who happens to attend school, obviosuly this anime just pokes fun at the ideas and never gets serious, you will never see a gun being pulled or anyone get killed,so the anime knows its limits.Yasuna often bugs sonya with any little thing she can come up with, such as playing hide and seek or playing a word game. This is where the anime often gets it punchlines from, where it always ends up as sonya being fed up and ends up hurting yasuna, followed by the classic quote of “sonya you’re so mean waaaa” There is also a ninja character who is really just another high school girl being a troll and messing around, often tricking yasuna and sonya with her magic tricks(illusions) many people say she makes the anime what it is,and i agree with that, she is an excellent character all on her own.
Then we have unused character,i have no idea why is she even in the anime, she is useless. The creators barely give her screen time,it would have been nice if she became a main character as well and she redeems her self..but it doesnt happen.
Music/voice- The music is pretty simple and goes along well with the cheerful nature of this anime, and includes many japanese elements as well which is a plus. The opening song is pretty cute and well done as it includes the voices from the anime, while the end credits have a catchy dance music which is enjoyable as wel.
Now this may be a surprise but i recommend watching this in english DUB,the voices are very well done.the voice acting is never monotone and the english voices sound very similar to the japanese ones,so if you enjoy watching animes dubbed then go for it.The english voice helped put the nail on the coffin for giving me that old comedic cartoon vibe.
Animation/Art- this is a comedic anime,so perhaps the best animation isnt needed but it looks cheap and old,and for a short anime they could of done better…again its just a comedic anime so it doesnt nessarily need it.
The art style is cute and goes well with the cheerful nature of the anime, reminds me of lucky star and yuyushiki.
Appeal- This anime is only around a year old,but the anime has been well recevied by viewers and parodies such as the end credit’s dancing was done in yuru yuri so the appeal is there, and it is a likeable anime without a doubt.
Final opinion -Kill me baby was a very enjoyable anime, filled with laughs and heart warming moments. However the main problem with the anime is the randomness it contains. At times the anime may have a hilarious episode while the next one may be dull and have too many missed jokes.it feels as if they tried a new idea every episode which isnt so bad,but at the same time i just wanted to skip an entire episode. Also i know this anime isnt serious but it was hard to beleive that sonya would even be yasuna’s friend after all the things she does to her(teases her way too much) other than that this anime was funny and cute so i recomemnd this for slice of life fans and ones who like random funny animes.
Hope you enjoy this review

as with many animes it doesn't really matter what the story is really about, but as long as you can have great characters that make the series enjoyable to watch then it is worth it. This comedic slice of life anime is defiantly something unique and fresh.
Polar Bear Cafe is an odd anime since almost everyone is an animal, which is not very common in anime at all so the anime already stands out on its own.
The story is about a white polar bear who is the owner of a popular cafe called the "Shirokuma Cafe" after quitting his boring job to start running his
...
cafe near a zoo. Thanks to his personality the place is always packed with many regulars, animals and humans alike who are drawn in to the cafe. all of this sets the up the comedic sub plots common in slice of life animes.
the animation is very great during the opening of the anime, with a great use of color and lights, but nothing too special out of the ordinary,no fancy tricks are used. as for a comedic anime, really great animation isn't really needed at all, however others anime in the same genre have pushed the limits of animation before, which means polar bear cafe does lack a little in the animation. on the plus side being that the anime is about animals it is important to make the animals look and feel as if they were there and have that cute and detailed look that anime is known for achieving. the animals look great with a perfect mix of detail and cuteness.
The music and sound go very well together, and again nothing out of the ordinary, just the generic music and sound effects to accompany the jokes and sub plots.
First of all,i have to say the choices for the animals is pretty hilarious,as a kid i would call any animal by its name.if i saw a tiger i would say oh hey there mr.Tiger or hello there ms.Giraffe,so the anime wasn't too far off with that idea. this anime has a ton of side characters who aren't really important, but the ones that are can make the series fun to watch and they all have there niche to fill in in order to give life to the episodes.
Polar bear-the owner of the cafe and popular with animal and humans due to his personality.
Panda-a lazy panda who is in need of a job, because of his mother.he likes to talk about his cuteness and enjoys panda products.he may also be into yaoi but i wont spoil that
penguin- he is the "i dont give about" type of character,he usually "butts in" in many things and is the source for polar bear and panda's antics,he is also known to criticize a lot as well.
sasako-the main human character who works at the cafe helping out polar bear, she loves bicycles and is a friend of Mr.Llama
Polar Bear Cafe is a very unique anime that shouldn't be missed,if you love animals, and if you really love talking animals then you will enjoy this series. the humor can be hit or miss at times, but that still doesn't hurt the quality of the anime.if you have watched a serious anime or a sad one then this could be an anime for you to watch to cheer your self up or to watch something with happiness, the whole polar cafe experience is about that.as for others otakus out there, its just a typical anime with animals, and i honestly feel that if the anime was about humans instead of animals then it would be just another maid cafe series they may have been missed all together so it was a nice choice to use animals and it does work well.

Azunanga daioh, the timeless classic of the anime genre known as slice of life.
Though azumanga may not be the very first school/slice of life but it did became one of the first popular and well known animes on the Internet. Not to sound too baisis because this was the very first anime I watched online (YouTube) this anime is great but not perfect. (more on that later)
The story of azumanga is a typical school anime that focuses on a group of girls and their life at school,it tries to show the good and the bad,but mostly funny aspects of life and it does
...
a great job at it. Watching the anime today and you can still get a kick out of it.
Azumanga became the inspiration for many future animes such as yuyushiki and in Nichijiou.
The anime is from the early 2000s which was a transition from the late 90s to the modern style of anime we know today. So it's normal for animes to be less colorful and hand drawn. Azumanga daioh doesn't break any barriers with animation and it's simply decent for its time. It still stands today pretty well but very dated. If you love animation to death then I suggest checking out the OVA first.
One strog note is the art style, yes it is a little simple but it's very unique and can make characters look cute and provides many comedic faces and the famous cloud people in the classroom.the art style is clearly shown in Nichijiou an anime over 10 years later, this really shows the impact of the art.
The sound gets bonus points for having an awesome opening. But I have to admit I don't remember an ending song. Either way the anime has a great ost that goes well with scenes.voice acting is done well, not amazing as new animes but still great, even the English dub isn't so bad. They even poke fun at osaka who is from another place in Japan so in the English dub they gave her a deep southern voice. And I think chiyo chan English voice is very fitting.
One thing in anime is that a lot of the characters look the same, that is why they use different hair colors and sizes. However this anime didn't need to go that far And did alright with the designs. Looking similar but still unique.
It's difficult to find a main character since it shifts between them.
But the one that stands out is chiyo-chan
A young girl who should be in middle school is already in high school for her high academic grades.she tries to fit in with her high school friends who are much older than her,she also has a pet dog and a yellow floating cat as her dad.
Then you have Osaka who is probably from that aera in Japan and is a stranger to the school,it's basically being from a different state, she is not very bright and likes to day dream but she is strong and very friendly. Another character who also stands out is tomo (which I believe means friend in Japanese) she is crazy and the wild one, always yelling and being the hyper one.
I can go into more detail about the characters but you can see how they fill a niche role.
Overall you can compare this anime to any thing else that was trying to be the first in something.being one of the first popular slice of life anime.azumanga will always be an Internet classic which has inpsired other animes to be the same, and azumanga is far from being horrible but it's not perfect.i really wish this anime could continue as well, just watching the opening can out a smile on my face very easily. Although its been years since I've watched this anime I can still remember how great it was,but not be blinded by nostalgia it's just a simple anime with a simple setting, but a great anime nonetheless.
I recommend it.

introduction-a new take on the whole magical girl genre but making it into a darker themed.the creators of the anime were smart too if you watched the trailers or even the opening it will look like your typical sailor moon or card captor sakura but this anime isnt that and does a great job surprising the viewers.this is an anime where you care about the characters greatly.this review will be difficult to do since its a been a while since ive seen it,but i,ll do my best for you guys.
whatever you want to call it,the anime Madoka is a really good drama and a very
...
great psychological anime that messes with your head.it isnt very easy to narrow down the genre of the anime, since its a mix of a lot of things but for the most part it plays out like a “slice of life drama” with the actions of course, however the main power behind the anime is the very likiable characters and surprises it holds.
Warning- if you are watching this anime, make sure you do not spoil it,the anime is meant to be watched knowing very little of it,so i will do my best not to say soo much plot lines.
Outside of the anime- The anime is actually very popular and there have may been a chance you seen some of the pictures or artwork once on any website that has anime media. there is also an upcoming movie that will shorten the series sort of like evangelion,so its great for the people who don’t have much time but still want to watch it.
Contents-The anime is very short, infact one of the shortest ive seen with around 13 episodes, that being said,it uses the episodes to tell a great story and it doesn’t need 50 episodes either, its an anime with a beginning, middle and end.the animation is also really well done, using diffident styles throughout the series, mostly during battles.
Plot-if you have never seen this anime, then you really should,i really shouldn’t say much about the plot.however i will say that it will mess with your mind.i think the magic of the anime is not knowing what it is about…now i know it isn’t fair but the anime is really short,so its best if you watch it rather than read reviews. the anime has that magic that makes it great from the plot.
music- the music is excellent here, the opening anime is really famous too for its trolling. how it shows the anime being girly and making you think its those magical girl anime, now the anime isnt extrmely violent or anything, its jsut a different way they approached the genre, which is why the anime became very popular.another note is that the background music is well done and always fits the mood for the different scenes and everyone has there own theme song as well.
final opinions- i highly recommend this anime,it is really awesome and just fun to watch.the characters are so well made and voice acting is superb here (English subs). The drama is also well done, coming from someone who doesn’t enjoy drama as much. it was to the point where i started tearing up and wanted to cry at one point. i think any anime that can do its just awesome on own. i think it should have been just a tad longer, and there will be some confusing moments in the anime,i found my self rewinding back to make sure i understood what was going on,but it was only a very minor thing in the anime, and doesn’t really hurt the story.
anything else-the manga series, and an alternate one where mami and kyouko are the main characters,be warned ladies the manga is more of a seinen thing. also there is three movies, the third one hasn’t aired yet. and it will be a continuation of the main series,so technically this anime isnt done yet.anyways thanks for reading and i hope you will enjoy this anime as much as i did.

This is a Review for Black Rock Shooter OVA
-Remember finding out who hatsune miku was,and then remember seeing an evil version of her, well turns out that was black rock shooter who got her own animation in 2010 which later became an anime in 2012.
A lot of people tend to say this anime wasn't very good or that it was an experiment to try out new animation styles but it is certainly a lot better than some anime that try to tell a similar story.
the anime starts off as a slice of life with drama into it,dealing with friends, and such, and later on becomes
...
action paced. the anime is mostly suited for older audience who are looking for a deep plot, and well the anime does a good job at it,it doesn't seem as good.
the plot is mostly centered on teen drama that we all experienced at some point, with the main theme of the anime revolving around an alternate world where alternate version of the main girls of the anime fight each other
Warning- there are some slight yuri under-tones mostly from yomi herself.
the anime may not have been as good, but black rock shooter has got to be one of the most popular anime character in recent years, her design is pretty much an evil looking version of hatsune miku who is already extremely popular,so even people who dont know black rock shooter may still know who she is because of the miku design.she is also known to have a lot of figure sets and a ton of fan art, even before the anime.the series has also gotten a recent game in america which shows that the anime is popular within western anime fans to some point.
This anime is sometimes underrated for being just an experimental anime, but it has a plot and that plot isnt bad by any means, heck the anime deals with themes such as jealously, bullying, feeling alone.things many of us can relate too,the only thing that really gets in the way was the explanation of the alternate world and how the story has to wrap up,but i seriously enjoyed the anime and seeing how the characters changed over time, dealing with there rise and falls, also the voice acting is really amazing here as well. this anime does have some major flaws and does feel like there was conflict between the writers that wanted a different story like the OVA but other wanted to change the story to appeal to more people and sell.however the animation, voice acting, and plot do save the anime from getting a bad score,if you like school drama,as well as black rock shooter than check it out
this is a good starting point for people wanting to watch the actual anime,in a way it will make you enjoy the anime a little more than the OVA

Introduction - ”Another?” yeah try telling that to a fellow otaku,at first the name seems very odd but it all makes sense as you watch the anime.I’m somewhat squeamish when it comes to this type of genre, but hey this anime is pretty good. to be honest there isn’t much to talk about here, however this anime proves that it doesn’t matter what genre you are into,as long as the story and characters can bring a good anime then it shouldn’t matter. That being said this anime does fall a little short in some area that keeps it from being a prefect anime.
Content- The anime is called “Another”
...
it contains 12 original episodes with an OVA known as episode 0,which is basically a prequel to the series. the main series was released early in 2012 with the OVA shortly after,i suggest watching the OVA afterwards, but chronologically the OVA is first. This anime is a horror/mystery anime and despite not being into either one of the genre, this anime proved to me that it doesn’t matter what genre it is,an anime can be good no matter what the story or setting can be. still a fair warning to everyone who isn’t into horror/mystery,you still may not like it. The anime also contains some romance in it as well, and some light hearten moments to break up the pacing of the gloomy world “Another” presents the viewer. The series also shows it’s dark theme that center around it,such as death, ignorance, the feeling of lost and, mob mentality.Rather than explaining the themes, the anime is more about demonstrating them and showing examples of what happens when people start to believe in ideas and turn against other peoples for it. this whole concept is similar to the witch trials in Salem, where the town’s people had to get rid of witches but end up killing innocent people just becuase of false accusation and the mob mentality of believing in those ideas. However even as the anime did a great job showing this,it still feel short on telling an excellent story that can bring them together and make a satisfying conclusion.
Plot- (spoilers)The anime takes place somewhere in the 1990s as a new student by the name Koichi, sakakibara transfers to yomiyama. however he did not join the class right away as he was stuck in the hospital for a while due an illness, before leaving the hospital he was stopped by izumi, a school girl that is in charge of the countermeasure. at first it is not revealed what the countermeasure is suppose to do,but it shows that they are suppose to protect the students from the curse that plagues the class later on.Speaking of curse the main plot of the anime revolves around a curse of class-3 that kills students and people involved in the classroom, students believe the curse starts when a new transfer student enters the class,in order to replace a dead one.the students believe it was a student name mei, misaki who is supposedly dead already, which leads every student to ignore her and to treat her as she outdoes exist in order for the curse to stay dormant, however koichi begins to befriends mei, even after being warned not to even talk to her, which makes the student believe the curse is awaken when of the students died in an accident, thus opens up the plot for the rest of the episodes as the students try to find out what is behind the curse and how to stop it,which leads to ignorance and violence. The plot can keep you into the anime as well,as they uncover another clue the anime becomes part mystery, which can be fun to watch and creates a lot of drama for the anime. Most of the plot is purely supernatural and you will see how some parts of the plot is not even relateable to real life, then again its common in anime if this genre.
Animation/Art-The animation is done by P.A works,an animation company fairy popular, and known for animes such as angel beats, and hanasaku iroha. This anime truly does have amazing animation and incredible uses of lighting that can create the dark gloomy world, along with excellent color which is expected for an anime of 2012.Art for the anime resembles much like older animes during the early to mid 2000s but still keeps itself pretty original and recognizable. One thing to note is the camera angles the anime uses, such as first person views, and even some CGI for certain scenes, which is pretty new to me and its a cool thing to see an anime.
Music/voice-One word,Perfect the anime gets a lot of points on music, now the music doesn’t have to be melody based,or have a certain beat to it,this is a horror anime and the music does its job perfectly to change your mood and become somewhat nervous, along with the sound effects and you got a great atmosphere that makes you feel like if you were there too.As for the voice actors/actresses they do an excellent job and can keep you on the edge of your seat, and becomes very believable in what they do,when they scream, when they shout and when they cry,its all done perfectly.
Appeal- A major appeal to this anime is the characters, they are well though out have decent back story to them. Mei is the character who is the memorable, due to her appearance with her eyepatch and her personalty that can give off that mysterious but curious feel to the character,it can also be a good assumption that her character design may have influenced rikka’s design in chunnibyou due to very similar appearances.
final opinion - i believe the anime doesn’t rely on overused jump-scares or gory imagery as much, instead it builds up the fear and suspension by carefully working the sound and music to create that gloomy and frightening atmosphere,as soon as you hear a conversation, the music slowly build up making anyone nervous since its something that affects naturally. the people behind the anime probably knew how to get the most out of the viewers when it came to this, and did an excellent job pulling our fears and feeling of anxiety,of course this shows that we even care for the characters, and tells us that the anime did a great job fleshing out the characters, but also leaving us with little information to keep it mysterious. sadly this also backfires a little bit as i felt they used it to create plot twist that can come out of nowhere, but can be justifiable because we were not told in previous episodes, its like an a popular anime where a plot twist can happen and the viewer is confused, but then a flash back shows a character doing something that was never known to the viewer until it was revealed by the flashback.even with that flaw,it is only an assumption of mine can i felt could have been different to get a better ending. The anime is a good one, especially in its own genre,it can teach us a few things but can still lack real meaning behind it and leaves us with mixed feelings,so do i recommend this anime?….in short yes,but not to everyone obviously, i think its still worth watching, and the ones who enjoy horror will get more out of it than i did,and for the ones who aren’t into horror anime,i say its a good start,if you seriously want to watch one,but please follow the age ratings it was put there for a reason. with that i leave the review,i hope you guys enjoyed reading the review, peace. Arigato ^_^

Introduction- almost 10 years after azumanga daioh finished airing in japan, there was a newcomer to take its place..and that is nichijou.a very random anime that will make you love japan.
nichijou means “daily life” or “my ordinary life” in Japanese and that is what the anime is.its in the “slice of life” genre. now when it comes to “slice of life” Azumanga daioh is the most popular and held to be the best slice of life animes due to the unforgettable characters and one of the first animes in its kind to be successful.”slice of life” is difficult to make in japan due to budgets and
...
most of the time there made to be short with only 10-20 episodes.
is nichijou a good “slice of life” ? does it stand up to other great animes in its class?
well..yes it does. Before watching this anime,i didn’t enjoy anime as much because ive seen so many horrible animes, and i wanted to give up on anime,so this anime alone got me back into anime.
Final Opinions- seeing every 26 episodes i would say there are some great ones and some ones that were okayish…but for the most part all the episodes are great and fun to watch, and it can make you feel happy just watching the bright colors and the happy music.i truly do love this anime and it will always be part in a top 10(if i ever do one) i do think this anime is the spiritual successor to azumanga with the cute and funny style the genre is known for.i truly do recommend this anime for any newcomers into anime, anyone into Japanese culture (there is a lot of it here) and anyone who appreciated the art of anime in general. even if you aren’t into slice of life its still worth a look and its short with only 26 episodes.
Content- The anime is under the shonen section.which means its for younger audiences.which is a good thing if you are tired of seeing anime with constant ecchi or violence. this anime contains none of that at all,and in my opinion its one of the safest animes i ever seen.despite being for younger people, the anime is still fun and can appeal to older people with good messages such as motivation, friendship and not copying other people’s homework. they will also poke fun at the messages too making them funny.another important thing to note,is that this anime is very true to it setting being in high school in japan.the anime pays good tribute to everything japan and its culture.seriously just after watching this and i felt like ive already been to japan. you can learn a lot from watching this like certain phrases and cultural things from japan.while still having fun, seriously this anime is all about cheering you up.
Animation-The animation seems dull at first with simple designs for everyone, but when something goes crazy like running to class then everything changes dramatically and the anime has used a lot of anime styles and it can go from simple to very very detailed, which it becomes random and funny.the colors are also perfect and a great example of how anime is looking better with this new decade.
Plot- The story is about 3 high school girls in the second year , which is one side of the anime, and another is about a robot, with a professor who built her. and the story brings all of them together. the three girls are yuuko, mio and mai. yuuko is mostly seen as the main girl of the anime, she is not your typical Japanese school girl, she is more like Americans and mostly me who can be very lazy at school and uses our friends to copy off homework assignments.also we can relate to her as well because she isnt sure what she wants to do in life as a career and instead of stressing out she just lives her live happily and shows us that we need to be happy for what we have and not stress out as much.in the anime she always gets bad luck from simple dogs biting her to losing her wallet. still she stays happy..she is also not as smart as the others, with her friends she loves to make jokes but often fails to make anyone laugh this is probably why people like yuuko the best since they can relate to her..mio is second main girl and best friends with yuuko, she loves to draw manga and has a short temper. she is also nervous about showing her friends yaoi manga and keeps it to her self.being very diffrent from yuuko they managed to be friends. mai is the third girl and one word that sums her up is troll.she is always playing some kind of prank either physically or mentally and always out do yuuko, she is always very quiet and hardly speaks, she is seen reading a book or carving something.the other side of the anime has nano a robotic girl that looks normal except for a giant screw coming out of her back, this always bothers her as she wants to go to school and makes friends but fears she will not be accepted because of the screw, however just becoming friends with yuuko shows that people aren’t all that mean, and that appearances don’t always matter. her professor is more like her younger sister. she is known as the professor and is the one who built her. she always likes to eat snacks and always complains for childish reasons.they also have a cat called sakamoto who can talk thanks to the professor and the cat acts more like a dad and grumpy as well.he refuses to act all cute so he wouldn’t be bother by professor.
music- the music in the anime is probably some of the best i ever heard, the opening is very well done and very catchy, same with the second one,and follows the hyperactive op and slow lullaby music in the end, characters themes that you will hear a lot and remember from scenes are also in the anime,as well as other music outside from the anime.
anything else- sadly the anime has ended as of now, still some manga chapters are still being released however, its just chapters from the anime already seen.the anime is very excellent and near perfect. this anime is truly for anyone who loves japan as a whole.
