Well, I agree with the fact that it doesn't deserve the first place (altought IT IS my favourite till now, haven't read many anyway) but I don't think you can appreaciate it like us boys do :p Don't want to be a racist here but it's a fact. I barely see girls that read it AT ALL, not to mention girls that worship it.
One reason you could like Vinland Saga more is because Thorfinn is hot and Guts isn't, most of the girls (not necesarly all of them or you in particular) tend to go all like that when it comes to "pretty" boys. But I may be wrong too.

Instead here's one thing: you can't compare the two of them because Vinland Saga hasn't reached the point that Berserk did. Meaning that yes, Berserk is kinda suckass lately (since chp 260 or so) but Vinland Saga will have that future too, it's already started if you ask me,it's more like a Farmland Saga right now...

Then again, I find both of them kickass so I hate to be in the situation of comparing them among each-other, everyone with their own tastes ^^
Yours is a very plausible choice at least, unlike some girls that only read shojo and yaoi shit.

Yeah,you're problably right,but the number isn't so important,the important thing is the quality.
I'm also noob comparison to other people i know,however there are lot of people that have watched lot of anime or manga but have worst preference,in my opinion.
