I disapprove!
My Reviewing Scale:
I leave this scale here as I find that other people's spreads tend to be more generous than my own. Therefore, I'd like to describe how I approach this process. Remember, this is the field of media, so all reviews are at least partly based in opinion. Don't berate me for mine and I'll give you the same respect. Without further ado:
9-10: Masterpiece. Accomplished what it set out to do perfectly, a clear show of thought behind every step of the process, probably left me with a feeling of wonder for a few days. Mark between the two is whether completely flawless or not.
8: Great. The viewing experience was highly enjoyable. I will probably still preach this to my friends.
7: Very Good. I won't preach the word, but it's not unlikely for it to come up in conversation as a casual recommendation.
6: Good. I wouldn't terribly mind the process of seeing it again, but only if it happened to be on. Might pick it off a friends shelf if we had to watch something off it, wouldn't be on mine without me getting a pay raise.
5. Average series. It was what it was. Watching isn't particularly painful, but I would earnestly try to find an alternative first.
4. Below Average. Tolerable watch, but I don't want to do it again.
3. Noticably poor watch. Often in pain at the bad construction of the piece. Do not want to watch again.
2. Painful. Poor characters, poor plot, poor... well what wasn't poor? Wish it never existed.
1. Could not conceivably be worse, may degrade your physical health, will definitely affect your mental health.
And also, if you have any disagreements, feel free to im me, I love chatter (but only if it's intelligent).
