I am not a fan of the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise but I pushed myself to see why many people would consider this to be a anime masterpiece. After watching 1 hour of hormonal teenagers screaming, mecha mutilation and nonstop fan-service. I came to the conclusion that End of Evangelion is the worst piece of crap atrocious animated film in history and it would better to call it a badly acted porno film than an actually anime.
The biggest problem of the film is the overly complex plot and it pulls too many philosophical themes in the story. I think it's often with these kind
...
of films, that the creators confuse complexity with intelligence and as a result, make a film that is far too complicated which goes into the lines of stupidity. Complexity doesn't always reveal someone's intelligence and the reason why people wouldn't be able to understand the film's overly convoluted plot is because they are not stupid but just don't understand it's themes because the film is ludicrous.
The second problem is with it's main character, Shinji Ikari who is one of the most terrible characters in all of fiction. The reason why is because Shinji is more of a two-dimensional robot than an actually human being. Plus all he does is scream and weep like a toddler who didn't get their favorite candy. I'm not saying those qualities are bad for a character, they just overly use them and wastes their potential character development and ultimately these leave Shinji as a one trick pony who can't bother to do anything because he's drowning in his own self pity. We all feel sadness in our lives and it's tough but when we overcome the feelings of despair, we become stronger people. IGN even ranked Shinji as the greatest anime character of all time and the writer described him as being the most emotionally true to life character in anime history. The guys at IGN must have pea-sized brains if they think that's true, Shinji is unrelateable as his non intriguing and should never be called a work of art but rather a robot with flat character traits who is trying to act like a human.
I won't get started on the ending but honestly there are no words that can describe my disdain for the ending. It was simply too weird and even generic, plus it all felt rushed as characters started dying too quickly and the female giant monster was placed there, just to add more drama. Overall it was a nauseating and smutty ending that didn't give any satisfaction, I wouldn't even call it a downer ending, it was a ending that sucked. Devilman Crybaby had a similar ending but it was well executed and thought out in a good way while End of Evangelion rushed their ending too much and lead to a fountain of colossal fecal matter failure.
In the final points of my review, End of Evangelion is the worst thing I ever saw in recent memory and it shouldn't be included in any of the greatest animated film lists. The film should stay within it's own world because it will never be a genuine piece of artwork but rather a disgusting joyless animated mess of wasted talent and toilet slop. Hideaki Anno, you are not a good director at all but you are certainly a wiz with animation, too bad that's your only strong point.

This anime is as bad as it is overrated, I watched all 24 episodes, and frankly I admit it was good for a little while but things got rotten when the anime hit the second half.
They call it a horror anime and one of the best anime in recent memory, I found it to be quite repetitive and lacking in anything good. The animation was pretty top notch but the characters, theme, and story were incredibly shitty and the protagonist is a bad toady version of Shinji Ikari who doesn't really change and and he keeps melting into poop because I have lost all respect
...
for this anime.
They try to make the series interesting by adding themes of Environmentalism, survival, Human condition, and the complexity of morality but the painful truth is that people of the current generation overanylse everything and try to get all philosophical and shit but the anime itself is nothing but stylized action and cheap jump scares and the audience is high on weed trying to cope with the utter faliure of this anime.
The characters fail miserably to intrigue me, most of them are bland and uncolorful and the protagonist doesn't have any real character development apart from changing into a mopey whining pathetic crappy hero who is as interesting as a log of wood in the toilet. He just helps people, that all he does, he is a cliched reluctant superhero who doesn't bother to help himself, even if it turns him into an asshole. That's not my kind of hero.
Reiko Tamura, one of the villains was kinda of okay but after her so called heartbreaking death and how she learned about the value of human life really pissed me off. You think you can just redeem yourself by dying, even though you murdered dozens of people and terroized an entire nation, and then release an mass murdering super parasite on the people, no freakin way, she went the coward's way out and she gets no sympathy from me. She's a horrorible self serving asshole bitch who deserved an painful death with no restraints.
In my final paragraph, perhaps one of the worst parts of this anime is the emtional scenes, its overused and overhyped nowadays and everybody wants to cry all the time. I'm not saying that stuff is bad but when you overuse it to tighten the emtional quality, it's gets ridicious and overbearing. One of the most underhanded methods is when they try to make you cry, not just because of the intellectual factor but just to make something that's clearly sad and make you ball your eyes out. It's repugent and stupid and I find it's commonly used these days to bolster the ratings of the networks that air these shows.
You can trick my eyes into crying but my Brain knows what your really doing and your damn lucky, I won't book a flight to Japan and kick your arrogant hippy asses.
I'm out.

Fate Zero doesn't really deserve the acclaim people give it and here are a few reason why,
Story- people rank this anime as one of the best series out there but from my view it shows barley any and it only gets truly pumping when the second season arrives. But even in season 2 fails very badly at satifying me because of it's slow pacing drawn out thriller scenes that makes this anime lose potential. The authors style of writing was easy to expect as he really loves to make people feel despair and watching many of his works, I know that Gen Urobuchi is far
...
from making me impressed and always fails because he relys too much on a repeated and vulgar writing style. Finally the whole point of the series is for the protagonist is to save the world, but what is he really saving the world from, that is because the world never needed saving to begin with. He thinks the world needs saving and he only makes worse for everyone, thanks a lot Kiritsugu Emiya ya big jerkoff and that is the one small plothole which drained the story's greatness and turned it into a cesspool of crap.
As for everything else the characters were dry, the sound was mediocre and the only redeeming factor was the animation which was excellent but is not able to rescue Fate Zero from my critical wrath.
Another blunder was that my favourite character Berserker didn't get all the screentime he deserved and made a few more appearances in the final episodes only to be killed by Saber the heroine of the fate series (as expected).
The biggest fault of all was the ending and we all know that Gen's endings are super confusing, weird, or cliffhangers which I totally hate from the bottom of my heart. I suppose it was needed for that to happen and let all the more popular characters appear in Fate Stay/night and fill the events in to make sense of what happened in the past but it doesn't I gotta like it one bit.
For my conclusion I say that Fate Zero was so bad it made Naruto look good and lost all its great potential because of one tiny plot hole because the author was absent minded or he wanted to play a sick prank on us for fun, it like they say nobody makes us feel despair and misery like Gen Urobuchi
This anime fits for two categories horrible and atrocities and like everybody on this website they all love the underdogs and despise the big 3 shounen anime. Everyone's got their opinion and I'll respect that but for me I like the stuff that isn't recommended by anime critics and ranked on a tedious scale of how people like one anime and hate another. I am a one man critic island and I am proud of what I like and what I review.
Catch you later dudes and dudettes of my anime list and good day to you

Only two words can describe this anime series Suspense Incarnate and is really one of the most thrilling anime of today. It combines mystery, supernatural, and philological elements which make it really epic and the themes of justice, corruption, godhood, and control can truly make it awesome and relate to the flaws of society. The characters have complex but aspiring personalities that it can make you relate with and even feel sympathy for them as they struggle to reach their goals. However light yagami is a character I despise as he becomes more ruthless and egocentric with the death note to kill innocent people, L,
...
and even his own family members too just because he thinks himself as the only true saviour of humanity. I admit that he had good intensions from the start but he becomes not only a despicable villain but perhaps one of the most hated anime characters ever for being so blinded by his pride and letting it make hurt so many people and led to his own downfall eventually. But also I think the real villain of the series is the death note itself for having the power to turn good modest people into monstrous killers and and just being a simple book can cause so much destruction and chaos and reminding us that with great power comes with great responsibility. Overall the series was astounding for having diverse characters, themes, music, animation, and a story that really packs a punch into the gut. In a way the death note series is like a shonen anime but without the action and crazy adventures they have, instead have a series battle between brains and with a cat and mouse style too as well as a memorable protagonist villain. The series gets an 8 out of 10 from me for being filled with suspense but needs a little more action and heroics for the characters too, so please read my review please and thank you as well.

Gurren lagenn is a pretty damn cool anime series that really goes into the action and brings the animation into a whole new level of craziness. I quite enjoyed this anime and it's themes about courage, self sacrifice, and the fighting spirit surly does make it an anime to root for. I admit I'm not a big fan of the mecha genre but i will consider it one of the best out there and recommend to any anime fan. Despite its greatness, I have to say its quite cartoony almost like western animation and honestly it gets way too overboard with action and explosive animation
...
that you can't get a grip onto. Also the whole themes get really old by the end of the first half and I know they are trying to motivate you but like I said, you just role your eyes when they start blabbing about courage, heroism, and all that crap. Another thing too is that many of the characters have two dimensional personalities especially kamina who tries to act like a heroic and fearless man but to me he sounds like an arrogant and narcissistic jerk with a annoying attitude. But the anime had an awesome storyline which led to fighting beastmen on the surface and facing off with aliens in outer space and ultimately led to a sad but satisfying ending for the audience. I also liked the series villain the Anti Spiral who had a weird appearance and was trying to destroy the world not out of cruelty but to save the universe and in a way made him more of a tragic hero than a real villain. The series was great and I liked it very much for great action and story as well as the cool mecha but the animation gets tiring and the themes need to be a little more realistic so we can relate to the characters and they won't get boring and some of them just look ridiculous. The anime was good but tragically flawed and messy, so I give this series a 7 out of 10, so read my review if you have the chance thanks.

I found the angel beat series to be very mysterious and compelling on a new level of anime involved with high school, science fiction, and supernatural. The animation and story as well as the elements makes it worth more than watching and stands out from its peers for being a simplistic but complex drama and it's emotional tone also has an effect on viewers too. Even though I found the anime enjoyable and funny at the same time it doesn't answer many of my questions about the characters' origins and where are they and what are they trying to do. Also I found the whole
...
life is worth living as a bit cliche and didn't feel sad or even cry when the characters disappear without a reason or the unfair end they had in their young life's. To tell the truth, I think life for some people can be torture and death is an graceful escape that can free them from their pain and life is also very cruel at sometimes and death acts like almost as a benevolent force that gives you peace when you are at your end, even your life was horrible death can give take you away from that pain and give you a new start in a new place with a better life. Angel beats was a good anime but I found many parts (including the ending) to be rather corny and unconvincing for you to cry at their misery and because the whole setting and themes is almost black and white to real life and the the show really needs to answer many questions for the characters and their reasons for being here. In other words it was an more than average anime for me but still looks cheesy, confusing, over dramatic, and utterly non moving for someone like me and the main characters have a little too much screen time as well. If there was a second season it should be a prequel or sequel that has different characters with more interesting personalities and a more understanding plot as well as a villain because villains always makes the show more interesting. This anime was good but it isn't for me and is for the more sad and expressional type of anime fan, thanks for reading my review of this strange and over deluxe anime.

Akira is a really crazy sci fi film that brought anime upon the western world and is one of the best anime movies of all time. If you ask me it was certainly one of the best anime films of its time and truly marvelled me. The action, the characters, and the story were are all awesome and the animation was utterly spectacular. But I have to say it was quite violent at sometimes it would make you gag and you lose direction because of the non stop and frustrating action scenes. The film was really good and I say great but went overboard with
...
the violence , sheer brutality, and explosions. Akira is an anime film I would recommend to anyone obsessed with anime and I really liked the antagonist tetsuo for his psychotic but sympathetic personality and his powers as well. But for me I did not like the blazing actions scenes and I prefer if there was a little in the direction in the film too. This anime gets 7 out of 10 from me for awesome and the cornerstone of anime films today but really needs to give people information on what's going in the plot in other words this anime was real cool but not and far from perfect. That's my review later anime fans.

Attack on Titan is a epic anime which follows the story of a boy named Eren Yeager who tries to kill giant zombies called titans in order to get revenge for the death of his mother and the human race. This anime was not as awesome as people see it and the story was pretty good but the flashy animation, used characters, and whole fighting scenes make it a very very typical and silly shonen anime. Eren Yeager the main character is a very Terrible character and lives in his own self righteous world which is black and white. He wants to kill all the
...
titans for his past tragedy (which is understandable) but that's simple slaughter and the titans may eat humans but it does not make them evil only predators and Eren's goal sounds a lot more evil and dark because he is making himself worse than the titans. As we'll with the bad characters, there are untold mysteries to be solved and it gets carried away with too much bullshit action. This anime was fun to watch but like any other anime it's not perfect and I see this one as a another overrated series that indoctrinated fans worldwide for its dullness and non gripping thriller. That's my review of this halfwit downer anime.

All I can say for this manga is that is sticks to the main storyline and is incredibly gory as well as incredibly perverted.
The manga was better than the anime for sticking to the plot but it really goes overboard with its more than dark themes and off topic conservations between characters. But I found the manga very enjoyable for concluding the story with a somewhat happy ending and keeping attached to the murderous but sexy main character Lucy.
This manga will remain as one of my close but not too close favourites and I recommend to reviewers to read it themselves and give
...
their own review of this unforgettable manga.

This anime is far from typical and makes a clear statement on how the things we see as monsters but in the end people are the real monsters.
The story, characters, themes, and art make it an anime you may never forget. The emotional and action scenes also made this anime really worth watching but it tends to go overboard with the graphic violence and nudity featured in the show.
Elfen lied is not one of my favourite of anime but it will stick for a very long time and does exceptionally well keeping me on my feet. Dramatic and emotional and a little too
...
perverted, but still an anime worth seeing.
